The majority of people definitely turn and begin to listen to Yorvalor’s playing. Even Mother Amahle, looking over at him, brings a small smile to her lips. A light tap of her foot to the beat. The sights of children enjoying the tunes causing her demeanor to shift just a bit. It does give a opportunity for a few folks to try and slip past, although it’d still be a little tricky if her attention turned back to suddenly find people gone.
Keegan just stands in the same spot, confusion clearly on his face “What in the bloody hell is he playing at, we didn’t come here to put on a bloody show”.
(OOC I’m laughing so hard right now, I just see this happening in my head and Keegan looks like an idiot)
Cade stares rather astonished by Yorvalor's actions. He seems rather dumbfounded by the whole situation. Cade sees this as an opportunity to sneak in. (Stealth: 14)
Yorvalor sees the smiles on the children and it warms his heart too. His attention now is concentrated to make the children merry. He is so into his performance that he doesn’t even pay attention to his friends anymore. (OCC. I am playing to my flaws now)

Emund looks to Yorvalor and then to Keegan as he mutters in disbelief. “Right then.” He moves closer to Morher Amahle and waves a hand to get her attention.
”A handful of your mates tried true and hard to rob us, we put most of them down, and sent a couple more back to you. Peeled a letter off one bloke, coded, which made it seem like your robbing was in line with self-preservation. So here we are to learn a bit more. If fixing your problem fixes ours, all the better. Now can we talk or shall we finish clapping and dancing while someone comes to collect?” (Intimidation: 13)
Mother Amahle, without turning to look at Keegan, does reply to his own confused comments. "You have to admit, it's a pretty good show." There's a small shrug. Her head tilting to the side as she watches.
Her attention turns back to Keegan and Emund. She gives a brief and puzzled look seeing only the two, but Emund is quick to begin conversing. Her attention being forced to stay on him. She seems to size Emund up before looking back to Yorvalor with the children, and back to Emund and Keegan. "Ah. Those matters." There's a pause as she weighs some thought. "Money is tight for us, and these kids. It's why we do, what we do. I assume that's why the... man who runs my books... probably tried to do something he shouldn't. Maybe you can talk to him. He's been squirrely recently, could use a few words." She gives a nod looking back between the three remaining people outside. "But, if you shed blood in my house, it will be paid in kind."
Cade sneaks past Amahle, slipping into the door that was left just enough open to push without too much of a creak and groan. Stepping inside the dimly lit warehouse you see the massive space expand out in front of you. A few iron and wood staircases lead up to a second level that's half catwalk, easily 50 feet above the main floor, with what could be a few spaces for offices and other rooms. The wood floor under your feet is rather scuffed, and groans with your first few steps. Little bits of light seem to spill through the slats of wood, showing that there could be something under there but you've yet to see any direct access point. About 100 feet away is a large brick wall with a few other sets of doors. Windows, at about mid-level (and some a bit higher) let the light pour into the brick warehouse. Shadows being cast from the tables that lay scattered about in a odd configuration. Nothing seems to be on the majority of them. A few other children are busy at work near some of the tables. Repairing items of clothing, or polishing off tokens of some sort. A few packaging crates also appear to be in the warehouse - some of the adults opening them and taking inventory, before closing their wooden boxes just yet.
(Cade: Investigation check will get you better clues, but at higher risk. Perception can also work, but will not get you quite as many details, although the risk is lower. You can only pick one to do, for right now.)
Cade begins to look around. (Perception: 16). He tries his best to control how anxious he is. When he was in the army he was not that great of a scout. But he knew he had to help out his friends now. He swore silently in Elvish he didn't even know what he was looking for
“Wonderful. Rest assured, nothing will be broken,” Emund says, lingering on the final word. He searches her face for recognition on the off chance they share a deity (Insight: 7). “Where’s it that we might find this...what’s his name?”
Emund glances at the woman, trying to glean any additional insight into her. But her calm demeanor continues, making it difficult to get a exact read on her. Especially without any of the usual attire that someone of the faith may wear publically. "I will take you to him," she says. Seeming to disregard the comment about his name.
She turns and goes to open the door, but finds it slightly opened already. Stepping inside, she looks around. But. Nothing. At least nothing visible. Both Emund and Keegan see Cade, having ducked into a shadow next to some boxes while the others come inside. A quick exchange of glances and nods, while Mother Amahle doesn't seem to catch on. She leads the group down a bit, before beginning to ascend some of the stairs. Heading up with loud clangs of the iron framework. (Yorvalor, if joining them, doesn't have quite the passive perception to spot Cade.)
Some of the larger walkways upstairs lead to large rooms. The doors all closed, blocking your view inside. Yet, she turns to one of the doors, giving a gentle knock. "Mr. Masus, we have some guests that wish to speak to you." There's a bit of a pause, before a gruff enter comes through the door. She opens it, before inviting you all inside the man's room. A short orc, barely five feet tall. Well dressed and well groomed. Despite his short size, he's hands have knuckles the size of walnuts that are currently pressed together while he sits. His office also appears to double as a living space; with a bed in a corner by a window. Large desk in the middle of the room. A few bookshelves lining the walls. Proudly displayed on his desk is a candelabra in the design of the Iron Throne. Something that many religious households would keep on a mantle. "Please excuse my mess. I was not expecting visitors....."
While they head upstairs, Cade continues to look around downstairs. Staying in the shadows and moving around some of the boxes, but never getting too close to open anything. From the distance, it's hard to tell what exactly they may be doing inventory on. It looks like bottles of some kind of liquor; your time at the Falcon's Nest giving a guess of something mid-shelf. Maybe higher. Cade takes a minute to stop and listen, hearing the others go up the stairs and the knock on the door. Yet, through the floorboards, there's the sound of coins hitting together and a faint youthful voice of a person counting. Going in a bit deeper, heart still racing as each step does creek just a bit on the floor, he begins to spot some items laying around. Seemingly discarded. A few clay style casino chips, broken and discarded, seemingly kicked under a table. Kneeling down, Cade pulls out a small yellow six sided die. It's in that moment, when toying with the die, that Cade hears a few people talking. Their voices getting louder as they seem to be heading over towards him and in this direction....
"Uncle Yorvalor" is still in the "zone" from his performance. He seems to have forgotten the task at hand for the moment (OCC: Still rping to my flaws). He sings and prances around the children. (OCC: I hope I don't have to keep making performance checks)

“We’ve all got our secret messes,” Emund says with a slight smile. “So, Mr. Masus, do you often dabble in the Celestial tongue? We took it upon ourselves to defend our favorite nook and pulled a letter off one of the bodies. More importantly, we’d be very interested to learn who wrote this letter to you.” (Intimidate: 14)
He looks around the room a bit for anything that stands out as unusual. (Perception: 19)
Cade looks at the two men debating whether or not he could handle them in fight. He sighs. He scans the room. He quickly puts his dagger away. He wondered how he was going to handle. He swore the gods were out to get him with his poor luck.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, HUH? The boss ordered me to make sure no one is stealing our supplies. And I find you two wandering in here. Don't make me report this," Cade says. (Deception: 16)
Cade: The two look at each other. Then to you. Then, back to one another with a shrug. "Uh. Sorry. Didn't recognize you. But yeah. Can't have people stealing supplies. Need it for the casino nights." He simply states, trying to save some safe before turning around and beginning to head back in a different direction. Punching his friend in the arm. "See, I told you it was nothing..."
Yorvalor: (I'll say yes to using the Nat 20) The person outside sighs. Tilted his head from one side to the other while you provide a combination of convincing persuasion, and outright badgering him. "Ok fine. Head in and up the stairs." he says. Opening the door and letting you in. But, he does appear to be walking behind you instead of in front.
Keegan & Emund: Masus eyes get a small tinge of red in them for the briefest of moments. Letting out a small snort from his wide nose before a big, toothy smile. "Well, you see stranger, I was originally in practice to become a Priest of the Faith, and spent time studying the dead language of Celestial in a effort to read older texts. But, it seemed that fate had different plans for me." He glances over the two of them, sizing them up while Mother Amahle is more off to the side. "I had heard there was a bit of a fight, but, you didn't kill all the men that I employ. As for why they went there to rough up your favorite spot, I have no good idea. Seems like you've got as big of a mystery as now do." He pressed his knuckles on to his desk, standing up and walking around to the side of it. "Now, tell me your names. Right now you're strangers. And I don't like talking with strangers for longer than I have to."
Emund, you do a quick glance, but, your attention is instantly snapped back to Masus. You can't help but to feel like you're being watched by something else here though.

(OCC: THANK YOU DM!!) Yorvalor walks in a slightly slower pace, trying to get a general feeling of what is the purpose of this warehouse. (Perception: 17) He makes sure to have his hands where the person escorting him can see them.
"I am terribly sorry. I didn't catch your name my good man." He looks back a little bit at the person with a smile and a slight bow, and then he continues walking forward. "It seems that your people here have a soft spot for children. You may have noticed that I have it too. Their smiles out there really pulled my hearts strings. I wish to ask permission from Mother Amhle to perform more often for the children in your care here (He really mean it). Sooo... Where do all those kids come from, and what do they do here when they are not outside?" (Persuasion: 21)

So Masus was set to become a priest. Emund tries to recall whether or not he ever encountered the name during duties, or whether it was one Curtis had shared with him (History (?): 18, Perception (?): 8). Regardless, Emund decides to play this loosely, given the man's claim that he's no longer with The Faith, despite the feelings of being watched. Worse case scenario, whatever's lurking will reveal itself, or so he assumes.
"Steered off the path, is it? Shame. We've heard whispers that living saint is making their way to our little city. Could've made for one curious story to retell to these kids of yours." He tries to read Masus's reaction (Insight: 18) and extends a hand. "You can call me Emund. If you need a title to tack on, you can call me Emund, Detestor of Mysteries." He cracks a grin.
(Are there are chairs in the room, if so Keegan will sit in one very relaxed like, if no chairs then Keegan will pace a bit about the edge of the room. Either way Keegan will make a show sizing up Masus, very casually like he has no worries. Insight check on if Masus is telling the truth: 12
"Well, Mr. Masus me name is Keegan. Ain't got no surname, I grew up in a place just like this, don't get surnames handed out here." Laughing at Edmund's little joke, Keegan says "You can call me Keegan, Hunter of Men (intimidation: 6). Seems a bit dark though don' it. The way I see it, if you're men attacked our tavern and you don't know it, seems like you're the one with the problem, mate. Seems like a lack of discipline in the ranks.

Not setting a very good example for all these younglings now are ya"
