Priton: you recognize the two bodies as the two that were working in the cave and ran away. You see small bite marks like puncture wounds all day vet there face and body. Their veins looking like green spiderwebs under their skin. Looking around you now see small holes filling the ground and walls throughout this section of tunnel. Little yellow eyes begin to open and stare at you. A pair from each whole.
Honeyton: sees the same thing as Priton. Using his nose he can smell to venom oozing from the swollen and miscolored bodies. He also smells snakes..... lots of them.
looking back and around you’re surrounded by these eyes stalking you.
(this is sort of a hybrid trap/skills challenge. Each action taken will have a roll to determine how many times you’re bitten. Feel free to use any action or skill that you can think of, just explain how it would work.)
Professor Honeyton darts his eyes in each direction trying to count the number of snakes that are enclosing. Realizing they're too many to count, he tensely glances to his companions. "Their venom will kill us. What should we do?" Honeyton asks in a concerning tone as he doubts he could survive tumbling through the snakes.
Meanwhile, he tries to deduce if he could possibly survive bolting through the snakes knowing they'll bite him as he plows through him. He ponders on the toxicity of their venom and how long it may take to weaken him.
(OOC:) Assuming this may be either a Medicine Check or Survival Check. I'll roll for both to be safe.
Looking at the bodies of the dead humans and how many bites they suffered. He knows the cumulative bites in high numbers will surely kill him. But depending on how far the snakes reside in this tunnel. You will be able to survive a couple to several bites. The snakes fade into the ranges of everyone’s dark vision. No way to tell how soon it ends. It could be possible to make a dash for it.
(we will call it medicine, which means medicine can’t be used again)
Ragnir: (to the party) "I can cast a spell on three of us that should give us some slight protection and then we can run for it and hope we make it through without getting hit. I'm resistant to poisons so i would have the least amount of trouble with this."
(OOC: ragnir plans to cast sanctuary on himself, professor honey and priton. hoping that it would prevent the snakes from attacking them.)

Professor Honeyton peers to Ragnir, emitting a feint whimper. "Many bites and the venom will kill us, we can't leave people behind." he says in a fearful tone as he looks between the others to see if they have any ideas.
Honeyton watches as Priton attempts to scare the copious snakes into submission, and that gives him an idea. Honeyton inhales deeply, and fiercely emanates a thunderous roar to intimidate the snakes.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Alright there is a dex save dc 12, each number lower than twelve equates to more snake bites your susceptible to. I’ll have sanctuary on the 3 decrease the dc to 8, given how many answers were team oriented I’ll give an extra chunk gained than normal pace)
Hermebor relies on his monk training to nimbly dodge and dart between all the striking snakes. Honeyton relies on his talent as a bear to charge through crashing into some walls but unscathed.
Tyr is able to duck and weave while running, narrowly avoiding a couple of bites. Good thing Priton’s thaumaturgy distracted the snakes and made them hesitate.
Ragnir and Priton both stumble and have a hard time keeping pace in their heavy armor. Falling to the back of the group they are the ones that take the brunt of the bites.

Priton will cast Enhance Ability on himself with Bears Endurance to gain advantage on con checks with 2d6 temp hitpoints and continue making the loud shield banging with thaumatergy (Hitpoints: 6 ) Its also concentration

Hermenor reaches into his backpack and throws some dried meat (i.e.rations) towards the snakes, trying to distract them from attacking Ragnir and Priton.

Unfortunately the snakes are not distracted by the rations thrown on the ground. Ragnir focuses his divine sense, hoping for a Holy premonition.
the group continues to dash forward trying to dodge out of the way of the snakes down the tunnel. The eyes and heads of the snakes bobbing in the darkness, lurking and lying in wait for their moment to strike. All the holes make it difficult to get proper footing on the cold wet floor of the natural cave floor.
