Lorahzt nodded to the others, glad that at the very least nobody was openly hostile. "Allison it is, then!" she said to the Disfavored Corporal. "Though there's not much 'fair' about me. Like I said, I'm just a sapper, so I'm probably just here for grunt work, maybe advice on siege craft." She furrowed her brow for a moment. "Maybe not even that, everyone here was summoned for this job, right? Figures you probably already know that sort of thing... and so would anyone in charge already on site." she shrugged and added, "They probably just need me to dig more latrines or something." With the way she was babbling on, it was probably safe to assume that the drow woman had missed any subtleties in her companions' expressions or appearance. Though she tried to appear nonchalant, it wouldn't take a genius to see she was nervous and fidgeting.

Vik survey's the group as they talking, taking in there equipment and mannerisms. In a serious tone, he says "We all have our skills, that will be used in service of the Great King Ulthan. Archon Tunon called us all for a reason."
Vik blinks, realizing he let his mask slip a little. He looks up as if embarrassed by his statement, then pulls his hood down and wraps his cloak tighter around him as if trying to hide within it. He quietly says, while looking away from everyone, "Well, I mean, we all must be good at something, right. That's all I was saying. I mean, you know what I mean, right?" He stalks off a few paces and leans against the wall, with an embarrassed look on his face.
Allison gives a glance toward Blade as he speaks up. After both Blade and Vik speak, Allison, not breaking eye contact with Blade, says"Have a little confidence in your own words, Vik. You're not wrong. As for you orc-kin, you're probably right. Tunon can decide if we need to wait any longer." Finally breaking eye contact, she straightens her coat before stepping toward the doors of the Hall of Justice, giving them a shove open.

Vik smiles wickedly. This is a good mask. Even with his slip up, he was completely dismissed. He might need to give a name to this mask and save it for later.
The corporal was correct, though. He needed to show more confidence in front of Archon Tunon. He had a perfect mask for such an occasion.

Lorahzt took a measured step back when the massive half-orc approached. It may have just been the fight-or-flight response kicking in, but suddenly she found herself thinking a little more clearly as her adrenaline spiked. Gods, he's huge. Best stay out of his way...she thought as she watched the mountainous brute walk into the Hall of Justice. She shot a wide-eyed look to the cloaked fellow next to her, muttered a quiet, "Glad he's on our side," under her breath, and followed a short distance behind the half-orc. So long as the terrain permitted, she planned to keep a respectful distance between them going forward. Behind him, she gave a small huff and tried to school her features. Regardless of her first impressions of her fellows, she had been summoned here to meet the Archon. Lorahzt knew better than to think she could get away with anything other than complete stoicism in that chamber.

You open the wooden double doors into a reception area, the left side with a table and halfling on a stool behind it. She looks up from the paperwork to notice your group. Looking fairly busy with her work she can easily make it out that you are the summoned group. She motions you to the next room. "Tunon is finishing up now and will see you soon." As you enter the next room it is a large circular shape. Where you entered is at ground level but at the half-way point in the room stairs from either side rise up to the balcony where Tunon stands as he gives judgment. Tunon appears humanoid as he floats less than a foot off the ground, his feet are hidden in a black fog and a long black cloak covers him except for his face and hands which appear to be a pale white as if caked in chalk. Red highlights flow across him in the shape of a cross going down head to toe, while the cuff of each part ringed in red.
"For failure to have proper merchant license, a fine of 150 gold. Along with the payment for 50 gold for the license, you have until the end of the week to pay." His voice booms across the large room before looking up from his work to notice the group, stamping his staff into the ground, calling attention. "I have other business to attend to, leave all besides those summoned." Quickly the room begins to file out as Tunon waits for the doors to shut behind them, finally addressing you all. "You have answered the summons as expected, good. All is not well in the Tiers and Ulthan shall not tolerate this for long. Failures on both the Disfavored and Crimson Guard have been blamed for the lack of progress. Bring the word of Ulthan to the Archons and the punishment for their failures if it should come to that. Is there anything of pressing concern you wish to address me with?"

Her eyes narrow and the beginnings of a smile, equally wicked and amused, spreads across her face, showing the barest glimmer of fangs. After the half-orc's bow, she bows in turn, waiting a couple seconds after he finishes speaking to speak for herself. "Interesting turn... For clarification, what of our ranks?
