Roselina had heard Vrakvroth, surprised and also annoyed. "How do you know that he wasn't lying about returning? What if he never returns? We're wasting time just sitting here and waiting." she then said back to him and Quilrith, sighing.
"I have every faith in our new companions besides, if they are trying to trail the elven fellow a crowd is most certain to be spotted, rather than one or two individuals besides he said he was staying here, lets ask the barkeep how long he's been staying, and make ourselves a bit more productive, after that I may go for a lay down while we wait for him to return"
Having finished his drink Quilrith gets up from his stool and wanders over to the bar,
"So how long has the magnificent fellow in the red been staying here, Rictavio is his name? Look like you don't get much excitement around here, You can't have many guests, how many rooms did you say there were in this tavern anyways? I do hope they have locks on the doors!"
Quilrith grins and looks expectantly at the Barkeep,
Quilrith walks up to the bar and asks, and the barmaid, with a deadpan tone says "almost a month."
Meanwhile, while Sova and Ebur follow behind, keeping an eye out on Rictavio, he doesn't head to where he said he was, instead of going to the toyshop, he goes to the stable. There, he gives the apple to a horse, which behind it has a covered wagon, that he slips the meat into. There's the sound of something large tearing at the meat coming from within the wagon. Whistling, he then turns around, and starts making his way back toward the Blue Water Inn.
Ebur is rather curious, particularly when it comes to animals. Still in cat form, he approaches the cart, looking to see if it has a window or gap of some kind that he can peek through.

Actually, before returning to the tavern, Ebur would like to cast Speak with animals and approach the wagon again. Although he doesn't know what manner of beast is inside, (or if it's an animal or a monster) he will try to communicate. Questions to ask:
- Hello in there. What manner of creature are you? - Are you a prisoner? Why are you locked inside this cart? - Is your master an ally or an enemy of Strahd?

When Rictavio returns to the tavern Vrak gets up and joins him at his table.
"Let me buy you a drink, we have things to discuss." He'll motion for the barmaid to bring drinks and when she is finished and leaves he begins,
"We are on a quest to rid this land of the evil taint that covers it. We have received a viewing that tells us that we are to Look for an entertaining man with a monkey. This man is more than he seems. This man will be one who will help you greatly in the battle against darkness. I believe that you are that man, how many men can meet such a description? I do not know how or why you will aid us but we need your help in some manner."
Ebur casts the spell and asks the questions, and there is a response. "I am here to serve the will of my master, Rudolph Van Rictan. I am kept in the cart because if not, I would be killed on sight by the people of this town. Humans often misjudge us. And he is no ally of that monster, in fact - his here to get rid of those loyal to Strahd," the beast inside responds.
As Rictavio is approached by Vrakroth and Vrak mentions the prophesy, Rictavio responds "Not here, upstairs," and gestures for you to go with him.
Ebur replies to the beast: - Who is Rudolph van Richten, and by what power can be combat Strahd? - Who is the person that feeds you? He said his name is Rictavio.
