Roselina was glad as they seemed happy that she agreed before hearing that the festival will be in three days but to not let the Burgomaster hear her say that. He apparently arrested the last person who said the festivals were pointless to his face, claiming that they were in league with Strahd and a traitor. She nodded, making a note of that as now they know that the Burgomaster is definitely not with Strahd at all. Roselina heard them say that they had the Wolf's Head Jamboree a few days ago before asking what brings them from out of town, surprised. Oh, it looks like that they were found out but figured that it would eventually happen. "Really? That is very good information to know, thank you." she said back with a smile before she leaned in a little and put her hand to her mouth. "We are here to put an end to Strahd actually." Roselina had then said to the brothers in a hushed tone, not wanting other patrons to hear.
"five gold per day," one of the figure says. "Five Gold," the other repeats. "But travel from the morning. It's suicide to travel at night," the first man says once more. "Suicide," says the second.
The brothers look curiously to Roselina as she mentions her intent and asks "Not so loud, he has spies everywhere," they say in a panicked whisper. Vrakroth is unable to get a read on the rest of the tavern, however.
Roselina had heard the two brothers, nodding as she smiled. "I would figure as much, but it means that we can trust you two. What are your names? Do you happen to know where the Burgomaster lives in this city?" she then whispers back to the two of them.
"Oh a toymaker, how strange, and he also helps with your instruments, are you in town for the festival then? Perhaps we can see you perform? Oh I'm sorry are you needing to leave now, well don't let me stop you, I'm sure we'll meet again, it's not like your hard to spot!" Quilrith laughs nervously, before turning to look for his companions, keeping one eye on the strange elf to see where he goes...
"The route depends on how to avoid the mists," the hunter says to Sova, "So I can tell you the way, I cannot garauntee it's going to be safe tomorrow, and I can't say that route will be unsafe the day after," the one that has been speaking mostly answers jitteringly. "This pool your talking about is probably in the village of Krezk, If you keep following the Old Svalich Road to the Svalich woods. There's a few things along the way, but as I mentioned - I can't garauntee that the direct route is not covered in the mists right now," he says.
Meanwhile, Roselina is told by the brothers "he lives to the south of town," one of them says. "In the most opulant mansion of the town, in his opinion," the other says. "he lives towards the south of the town," the other brother adds.
"Well, I travel and am just passing through, but this place didn't like my monkey, so that's why I'm going to the toymaker, but I'll be back soon. I am staying here after all, so we can continue the conversation when I return?" Rictavio says with a smile to Quilrith, which in itself seems out of place among the dour folk of the town.
Vrak looks towards Rictavio at the mention of a monkey. He recalls what they were told in their card viewing.
"This card sheds light on one who will help you greatly in the battle against darkness," she says as she flips over the card. Placing it down, the card is the Artifact card and she says "Look for an entertaining man with a monkey. This man is more than he seems."
Vrak rises from his seat and approaches Rictavio. "Greetings traveler, may I have a word with you? Privately?"
Roselina had heard the brothers, annoyed that they didn't give their names and how vague they were with where the Burgomaster lives. "Can you be a little more descriptive, like what exactly does this mansion look like? Is it the tallest building? Is it across from a notable landmark like a store or something? What is his name?" she had said back to them, noticing Vrakvroth get up and leave to go to the half-elf man.
Athenios: Though Rictavio is not lying about the story of giving his monkey to the toymaker, that isn't his intended destination but he does intend to return.
As Rictavio heads toward the door and Vrakroth asks if he could speak with him, he turns around and smiles, with the food pack in his hand. "After I have given my monkey and the toymaker this food, we can have that private conversation, I'll only be a few minutes, please one second,"
When Roselina asks the two brothers one says "Well, we don't go there often, as our mother is the one that does business with him, but he has a nice house - it's on a residential road however. As for Baron Vallakovich himself, in his words "All will be well!" The other just smirks and grunts.
Hearing Rictavio's brief response to Vrak, Ebur realises he hasn't seen a monkey before, and would very much like to do so. He rises from his seat and leaves the tavern immediately behind Rictavio. However, he slips behind the tavern, waits until Rictavio has moved away, and then shapeshifts into a cat (or whatever other domestic animals he has seen in Vallaki so far) and follows after Rictavio.

Roselina had heard the two, glad to have gotten the Burgomaster's name, nodding back. "Alright then. Thank you for all the help." she then said back to the two brothers as she gets up and curtsies. She goes over to Vrakvroth, seeing as the half-elf man had left and some of the others followed after them. "Come on, we should go visit the Burgomaster. He seems to be against Strahd as well, so we could gain some much needed help and insight." Roselina had then whispered to Vrakvroth.
"A moment, I need to speak with Rictavio. He is the one we were told of who would aid us, the one with the monkey." Vrak responds. "I will wait here for him to return."
