Joshua will keep all the scrolls except for healing word which he will give to either Talon or Tait depending who wants it. "I found some magic scrolls. This one heals with words but I can do that without a scroll if either of you want it. The others allow you to fall slowly which could be useful, one that shoots force out which I might use as I'm not very effective at damaging individual targets, and a final one that will allow us to identify magical properties if we find a magical item."
"Talon, why don't you keep the scroll? It is more useful to you than to me. I am not sure if I can even use it. My magic seems more instinctive than learned."
( So the door is closed and there are a few furniture cluttred before it. it seems that someone must have put them there to stall whatever is on the other side from entering. It will be easy to move them aside and open the door.)
The halfling who is the only one small enough to go through disappears into the tunnels? Several seconds later Noche smiles and says. " I can't let him go alone" and plunges into the tunnel also.
Before Hoyle left, Joshua will give him a bardic inspiration (d6 on ability check/save/attack, can be used after roll before told if success or failure)
"Hoyle, come back to us safe. And shout if you need us"
Hoyle arrives in a room littered with broken wood. Most have rotted away and it's clear that some rodent are living here.
He is relatively well hidden and lays still for a second in one corner.
Out of the front, through a wide and broken doorway a huge (like a large dog) rat enters. Fiery red eyes and a haphazardly gait, as if the beast can't decide if it wants to walk up or on all four, are not the only strange thing about the creature. Rows of teeth and small wings catch Hoyle 's attention
For now the creature has not seen you. Noche feeling the tension has stopped moving behind Hoyle.
The others in the room are still deciding what to do when a thudding noise is heard on the other side of the door.
It moves a bit closer and the creature on the other side scratches the wooden door. The way is blocked but the force being the claws pushes toward you and the wood strains.

Talon would spin around and point the glowing tip of his crossbow towards the door. The light reflecting off of his white feathers and black obsidian beak. "What do we do?" He would ask quickly as he backs away from the rattling door as he prepares to fire a crossbow bolt at anything hostile that breaks through.

Arric gets closer to the door. “It looks like this thing is coming in anyway, so ready up, and we’ll all get it at once okay?” He readies his morningstar to hit whatever comes through the door.
Can Hoyle see the door from where he is? Which room is this on the map? Is there a place that Hoyle can move to and have some cover? Can Hoyle identify the creatures?
Hoyle will ready his weapons regardless and fire if the door opens.

Sorry yes. Arric
"Talon, why don't you keep the scroll? It is more useful to you than to me. I am not sure if I can even use it. My magic seems more instinctive than learned."
Waving to the others, Arric motions to be quiet. Gathering everyone up he tells them, “There’s someone behind that door. What should we do?”

Also anyone small may go through the tunnels to the other side. Or if you succeed an acrobatics check and wear no armor.
"I don't mind going through the tunnels to scout the room if you want?"
"Please be careful if you do, but don't feel like you have to."

Hoyle: Can you make me a stealth check, please

Hoyle crawls through the tunnel as quietly as he can with his dagger ready, just in case...
Stealth: 7
Just to be sure, he will use the bardic inspiration: 4
Talon would take the scrolls with a nod, putting them in his pack. "Thanks!" He would say excitedly before looking to the others.
