Asmodai is silent as can be; luckily, the door was unlocked.
This circular area is cobbled with cracked granite, upon which sprawl four goblins, all apparently slain in combat. One stands with its back against the western wall, the killing spear still skewering it and holding it upright. Two additional wooden doors lead off from this area. Above, a hollow tower of loose masonry reaches 30 feet, but the intervening floors and stairs are gone, except for a couple of crumbled ledges.
The corpses have been looted of anything valuable, but they still have short swords and damaged leather armor on them. The corpses are not fresh but not ancient either, they are consistent with being about a month old, about when the adventurers would have passed through. When you remove the spear from the upright corpse, a glowing Draconic rune is revealed on the stone wall. If any of you can read Draconic, you know that it is a name rune, the name of "Ashardalon".
Heia will go stand near the top most of the doors, the one to the right of where we can in. She will listen at the door for any movement. Perception 18
