Krakkans ears perk up as he hears familiar words. He motions to his companions in a "wait a minute" gesture.
If possible: Krakkan says in goblin: "I try to avoid battle at all cost, but I imagine that killing you would be like killing a beetle. You are so small, and we are so large. If you stand down perhaps we won't turn your insides into your outsides..." Intimidation 11
Bert says to Hawk, as he follows along quietly (stealth 14), "Sure, maybe they're peculiar decorators! Could be something else, but if we find someone, we can ask them."
Is the room with the half-open door underneath the steeple?
He says to Krakkan and Mandaway, "Giants throw boulders, right? Maybe the goblins found bigger friends?"
Looking to see if the boulders seem to be new additions to the ground or like they've been there for days (perception 18)
Only just saw this. The room is under the steeple, and the boulders don't look old but aren't fresh. There is some weeds growing around them. You think they have been there at least a few days
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Krakkan lets out a big sigh, "I always hate this part." He then moves up to Hawk and says, "It's nothing, they just don't seem to be interested in being reasonable." He then swings down with two hand axes. Attack: 21 Damage: 7 and Attack: 8 Damage: 4
Bert fires his longbow from the shadows near one of the pews, watching his companions all attack the goblins. He targets the goblin who's not just taken hits from three people:
Forge isn't 100% about what is actually going on at the moment because his senses were not actually with him but elsewhere. Though seeing Krakkan rush off into the building he returns his mind to his own and follows towards the building. Bringing a dancing flame(Produce Flame) into his hand though still not sure exactly what the threat is.
(I'll say that's all Forge does this round because his mind was within his familiar so he's still unsure of what's going on exactly.)

As the goblin charges, Zook focuses on his mind and body. In a split second, he feels the blood pumping through his body, from his heart to his metal senses, and down into his limbs. He feels the energy of excitement, but at the same time, he remains calm and remembers his training. A clear mind is a focused mind.
Holding his staff in his left hand, he finds his balance point, then begins a quick swirling motion with his short sword; a motion meant to confuse and put his enemy on the defensive. When he sees an opening, he stabs forward at the goblin's midsection, then quickly recoils.
Shifting his weight onto his back hand, Zook uses the staff as an an anchor point as he swings his legs high into the air. He sends a kick towards the goblin's head before landing back on his feet and bringing himself back to his starting stance.
The first Goblin gets hit by Mandaway, hit again by Hawk and the mushed by Krakkan. The second goblin gets shot at by Bert, and shouted at to drop his weapon. He does drop the weapon, before falling flat on his face, dead. Which explains why both of Zook's attacks miss.
Forge enters further into the building and approaches the battle scene. "Sorry for being late to the show, I was trying to get a better view of our surroundings. It would seem that this entire town took a barrage of these boulders, many buildings were damaged along with the bridge leading to the stone keep. If I had to guess that keep might be where all the town folk are. Seems the safest place to be when the sky is raining down rocks that are destroying buildings. The town is suppose to have a goblin problem but it would appear we have stumbled into something quite more severe."
(with the information from Forge, I will add a map into the campaign notes) (map isn't working, for now you can look in the spoiler addressed to Forge just before the goblins)
Krakkan, there was nothing of interest on the corpse.
Hawk, looking around, there are no other threats inside and you hear nothing outside in the immediate vicinity. Now the bell has stopped you can hear a couple of muffled sounds in the distance however
Feeling a little out of practice, Zook is certainly glad for the additional help in what is his first fight in quite awhile. After slipping his short sword back into its scabbard, he turns and follows Bert outside to investigate the muffled sounds.
Mandaway moved across to the two cast aside bodies and closed their eyes arranging them in repose. He asked Eldath quietly to grant the little angry folk some measure of peace now and to point them on the way to wherever little angry fellas went after death.
He began to walk out of the temple apologising to Lathander and Mielikki for all the ruckus in their house...

Krakkan:
As the only one who speaks Goblin you hear one Goblin say "Vark, they interrupted our playing."
The other responds "I know Beedo. We should kill these and take this back to our cave"
After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)
Mandaway looked around from studying the stained glass as the ringing stopped, " Hey, the ringing stopped!"
" Whoah, who are these angry little fellas. Just chill out, little guys. No need for all this aggro."

Seeing Zook enter first, both goblins will run at him, and having heard Hawk's taunt, one will turn to run at him instead.
Krakkan they don't seem bothered by your words.
On Zook, Attack: 9 Damage: 5
On Hawk, Attack: 6 Damage: 6
Both hopelessly miss. You guys are up

Mandaway looked at the approaching goblinoids and then at his new friends......he sighed and ran up beside Hawk.
He hefted Guni's Pacifier in his hand, with a heartfelt sob at the memory of the now dead toddler, " Go to sleep, Little Fella. Please."
Attack: 17 Damage: 4
I use both short-swords to strike back at the Goblin on me:
Attack (action): 25
Damage: 9
Second attack (bonus action): 8
Damage: 3
As I do this, Hawk blurts out:
What are you blabbering about, Krakkan?

"Well... that was unfortunate."
