Hawk hits. The Orcs move up to 90ft away. The leader moves to be 30ft away, the 2nd moves to 60ft away and casts a spiritual weapon which attacks hawk. Attack: 7 Damage: 5
Bert fires at the leader again, muttering to himself, "not too friendly of you, making ear necklaces and throwing javelins, even if you are hurt. But with this bridge up, you're not going to do much in terms of getting in here, are you?"
Longbow attack: 25 Damage: 9
After his attack he'll swivel around to be covered completely by the wall of the watchtower. He doesn't feel like getting hit by a javelin or a spiritual weapon.
Still unsure of how to proceed in the current situation, Zook replies to Mandaway.
”Suddenly, I‘m not feeling especially safe here, either. Isn’t that funny? Here we are, behind these walls, and yet, we don’t feel any more secure. I’m a person of the forest, where I can lose myself in the trees, in more ways than one, mind you. I don’t think I like the idea of living behind the confines of walls, towers and armed guards, especially when I’m not sure I trust these particular guards who have decided on their own to control this town.”
”And add in a band of nasty orcs who have suddenly trapped us in here... oh whatever are we to do, my friend? And what of our two companions up on the wall? Are they battling in futility? Is it our duty to join them and fight with them alongside these not-so-nice Zhentarim people, or should we coax them down and try to come up with a better plan?”

" We are in agreement, Zook. I would rather be putting to rest those who have died....but the still living are more important than the dead."
He looked up at the tower, " But if our friends are determined to kill these orcs then we should join them....if not to fight then at least to keep them safe from swords in the back.", he sighed sadly and began climbing.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kella and the other Zhents fire at the Orcs doing some damage, not enough to take any out of the fight. The Orcs all rush forward, effectively closing the gap. They look ready to try and scale the wall, with the leader shouting words no one understands. The spiritual weapon attacks Kella (14) missing. Kella and Xolkin attack that one back, just about making contact.
You guys are up. (I had so many rolls I just rolled real dice to do multiple as on mobile)
If it is still up, Bert will take another shot at the leader with longbow: 21 Damage: 7
If the leader's down, he'll shoot at whatever orc seems close enough to trying to get across the moat/up the wall. He will then use cunning action to hide with his bonus action, ducking out of the open window (stealth: 15)
(This is assuming the orcs are still on the other side of the moat, with the drawbridge up on the wall-side... if they are actually on the wall somehow, let me know if longbow is still feasible and if not I can switch to something else.)
Two hits (thanks to the power of the gods) on the leader. He is still up however. Zook is still up (Will give time due to the non working notifications). The Orcs are kind of in the moat or just the other side currently. Minus the magic user who is about 20ft back
After his conversation with Mandaway, Zook sighs, follows the cleric and climbs up the tower as well. Looking out, he surveys the scene: the orcs below and the forest beyond, trying to discern anything that his companions might have missed. He's quite taken aback by the sight of twenty raging orcs storming the wall. It's a vastly different kind of sight for a small forest gnome who spent most of his life not behind walls, especially those that are under siege by an invading band of monsters.
Trying to retain his composure, Zook pulls forth one of his darts and prepares for his attack on the next round, (assuming that his entire action was spent climbing and inspecting the scene.)
Taking the time to look closer you can see the ears these Orcs have are mostly pointed. And from what you have seen of elevn arrows, you think the arrows still sticking out of a few Orcs are elven in nature.

The Orcs attempt to climb up but the walls but fail to find a purchase. The leader shouts something at them and throws a javelin at Xolkin. Attack: 22 Damage: 4
The spiritual weapon attacks Mandaway, while the second in command throws a spear at Zook.
Mandaway: Attack: 5 Damage: 3
Zook: Attack: 16 Damage: 12
Xolkin takes a small scrape and attacks the leader back. Kella fires at the second, the other snakes split there shot between the Orcs, one orc dies, the leader and second are still up
Bert takes a look around to see if there's something heavy and unpleasant in the room for him to pick up and drop out the window on the orcs with one hand, he'll do that if he can as a free or bonus action. But his main action will be to pop back out from hiding and fire again at the orc leader with his longbow.
Attack: 18 Damage: 10
"Careful, Zook, get back from the window! These orcs aren't friendly, they have some kind of ears I think," he shouts.
He'll use his movement to get back behind the wall away from the window, and if he can't drop something heavy on the orc with his bonus action, he'll use his bonus action to hide again, this time far to the side of the window. (Stealth: 28)
He also looks around for something to block the turret window with as the orcs get closer. (Are the magic user and the leader still on the far bank or are they swimming over/climbing?)
”Ugh... Yes, I just found that out the hard way, Bert.!!!“ Zook winces in agony as the javelin pierces his small body and nearly sends him into shock. He’s able to quell the flood of pain, though, and he quickly pulls the point out and tosses the weapon onto the floor (not off the wall, though, where it might be used again to stick one of his other companions.)
Pulling himself completely out of view of the melee below, he crouches down against the wall to try and get his breath back. Feeling rather helpless and hopelessly confused by this odd and dangerous turn of events, in a situation that seems so foreign to him, Zook calls to one of his gnomish deities for guidance as he presses his hand tightly against his wound to try and stop the bleeding.
“Oh great protector Baravar, please keep us safe from these horrid orcs, who have trapped us in such a terrible predicament, I know that you hate them so, since they foul the world with their brazen wickedness. At the very least, I just ask for some advice, as I’m feeling so very out of sorts and unsure what to do right now.“

Mandaway put a hand on Zooks shoulder and let Eldaths healing energies flow through his diminuitive friend... he raised an eyebrow at the ineffective Spiritual Construct hovering beside him and shrugged.
Zook, make a religion check (unless you have another use for an action you would rather do)
Bert, there isn't much in the top of this tower apart from the drawbridge controls. The Orcs are also spread along the wall with most being between watchtowers. The wooded palisade however seems to be impossible to climb without aid.
Also, looking at the side picture of Nightstone, the towers are like castle towers, open top, stone with battlements for hiding from arrows

Hawk shoots another arrow at the leader, while whispering a small prayer from home to himselt and the Cat Lord - You have blessed me with the Cat's eyes, grace, ferocity, reflexes and stealth, may these be used for making the world a better place in which all living creatures can live in peace, under the eyes of the Cat Lord himself -
Mandaway turned back towards Zook, "Those are two very seperate questions."
" I don't know actually, all the orcs I've seen in the past were running away....stone giants tend to have that effect."
" I don't think we're safe here, even if there were no orcs."
Hawk hits. The Orcs move up to 90ft away. The leader moves to be 30ft away, the 2nd moves to 60ft away and casts a spiritual weapon which attacks hawk. Attack: 7 Damage: 5

Hawk is now fully in the action, trusting his instincts and reflexes. He will cast Hunter's Mark on the Orc leader, then shoot an arrow at him:
Attack: 17 Damage: 11 (+ Hunter's Mark damage: 5).
He is also trying to use the wall of the watchtower as cover between attacks.
