Niche will try to pocket some of the coins they found on the goblin unnoticed whilst going through the bodies (feel free to do a sleight of hand check if necessary, I guess the amount she takes will depend on the roll)
To Natalia: “I’ll take a few bolts if yall don’t mind, don’t want to be low if another ambush comes our way”
{Viiblubird - I'm going to leave this roll and decision to Sorvas. As a DM, I have some pretty strong feeings and beliefs about one party member stealing party loot and typically discourage it. If it were my game, I would make it very challenging on the PC to suceed and there would be some significant consequences when that character eventually failed. It would also be something that I would have discussed with the players in a zero session.
I don't know how Sorvas wants to deal with that kind of PvP conflict in his games. Since this is the first incident of this and could shape things to come, I'm going to wait to let him decide how he wants to hadle it for his game. Sorry to everyone for holding it up.}

Natalia is struggling to secure her own bandage on her shoulder and realizes that she shouldn't have refused Bran or Kal's offer.
Zandrich, don't just stand there useless, like udders on a bull. Get over here and tie this off for me. And introduce yourself to these folks while you're at it.
((Ah alright understandable just trying to stay true to character but since it’s my first time I’m not sure how DMs typically rule this, feel free to go either way))
{{I would just wait until Sorvas checks in and makes a ruling. It's his game to run and I didn't want to unduly apply my personal approach to his game.
As an individual player, I'm ok with with PvP, to a point. I'm less OK with it for most groups as a DM unless I know all the players well (and they know each other). I don't let them go very far down that PvP road until I know that they can engage in that kind of story without blowing up the table. In nearly 40 years I've had too many tables turn ugly and groups break when PvP gets accelerated. Currently when I DM, I have a session zero to discuss those kinds of expectations with the players at set the social contract expectations so everyone knows the ground rules.}}
Kal would need to take an arrow to replace the one that killed the goblin. That kind of damage is most likely going to mean that the arrow is unrecoverable.

Zandrich the 3' 2'' Halfling looks up and removes his black cloak's hood with his dagger in hand, revealing wavy sandy brown hair tied back in a fairly short pony tail. He has fairly tanned skin and eyes so brown they almost look black. He has side burns, but otherwise maintains a clean shave. You can see brown leather underneath the cloak as he moves to check on the dead goblin dagger ready to strike if needed. He reaches the goblin and seeing that it is dead stows his dagger and pulls the arrow from the goblin, wiping the blood on the deceased's clothing. He stows it back into the quiver and as Natalia asks him to assist her he says to her. Well speaking of useless, you seem to be the only one to suffer a major injury from these fool goblins. Why don't you have someone that can actually reach your wound help you...(under the breath but not too quietly) Moron. (to the party) I am Zandrich Osgood, it is nice to meet the lot of you, you seem to have a bit more sense than Natalia here. Gundren did not arrive for our meeting in Phandalin so I came looking for him and found his horses. I assume that fool Sildar is with him. I was trying to find out were they took him and then you lot came crashing through the woods. It provided a nice distraction and this is the second goblin that I took out. The other ran to the Southeast on a trail that way (pointing southeast). We should take a look and see if they are still alive, the drag marks appear that they are still alive. Not sure why they would need a dead body moved. Of course me helping on this rescue looks like some more gold for me what do you say Natalia?
Natalia turns her icy glare on Zandrich, pauses for a moment and then says. Opens her mouth to speak, then stops and smiles at him. She turns to Bran and says, If you wouldn't mind please tie this for me. She replies back to Zandrich, I'm sure Gundren would pay you for recuing him. Just be sure to call him a damsel in distress that needed rescuing. It will go over well I am sure, unless you are too much of a coward. She says to Bran under her breath,
Perception rolls DC:10 to hear this besides Bran, DC:15 for Zandrich (only if you want to hear what Natalia said to have that information as a PC)
If he was not good at his job, I would have killed him by now. But alas tools are to be used and discarded when they break for new ones. Perhaps we are too much of the same.
You can see the path fairly clearly due to the soft earth. It looks like about 12 or maybe 16 goblins carried one body. It is hard to be certain due to the amount of over-layering of the tracks. (You wont be able to tell any more from the tracks)
Hint: 2 bodies means half of the number listed above. I wont give many hints like this in the future, just want everyone to be on the same page with the information I will be giving out as we progress to work the mind.
I'm not following the logic of the hint. If it looks like "12 or 16" goblins, why would it actually be half because they are carrying two unconscious bodies?
Why wouldn't it just look like 6 or 8? How are we as players to pick up on it?
(one body 12-16 goblins, but if there is a second body, divide by 2 is 6-8 goblins.) (they are stupid goblins, but even they do not like to walk through the mud if they don't have to for the return trip for the second body. Basically 2 trips, goblins are small, and Sildar is heavier than Gundren. (220lbs plus the leather and pack. (about 85 more))
Branagh finishes tying off Natalia’s bandage and whispers back to her broken tools can still be reforged into something useful. You’re never stuck into one form or role, sometimes events seem like they break us when actually they are making us better at something. He gently pats her good shoulder and walks over to the oters.

(Just one, interesting choice Kal.)
Also I agree with SD on the ruling as well, don't really want the players focused inward fighting when there will be plenty of outward fighting.
Should have made that clear before we started. my bad.

Well, since Miz Natalia here seems ta know ya, welcome to our li'l shitshow. Wha' ya bringin' ta de party?
Do the drag marks lead to this Southeast trail?
"Fiction is the lie through which we tell the truth." A Camus
The drag marks lead only off of the road, then who/what appears to be picked up and carried due to the lack of drag marks / signs.

Somebody wanna give me a han' seein' if dere's tracks from de drag marks? Maybe footprints or some'in'?
Survival roll to look for tracks: 9 (2nd roll, if advantage for someone's aid 21)

Maybe. Natalia concedes, But only time can tell...
