Kata was about to pick up her book again, but pauses to look at Charmine, “Older elven woman, trust me, ask anyone in Phandalin and they’ll point you to her, she can talk the legs off a donkey. Oh, and make sure your little pet doesn’t get into the kitchen. Cookie is very territorial.” She seems to not particularly care about the rat’s presence and is just warning him.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Xanaphia Nailo: Level 4 Warlock, Grey Hands PbP.
Ellara Nightflower: level 1 blood hunter, Curse of Strahd
Charmine decides to clock out but before that he wishes to bathe. He moves pass the group going alone to the common baths. Just before he goes down the stairs he says
Anyone want to join me in the bath?
He asks this to familiarise himself with the group also to gain more information and insight as to the group’s personalities.
"Sure, Feng. Planning things ahead sounds sensible" Talen heads for the common and regrettable dosen't get any beer. Having a clear head tomorrow makes sense after all.
Once seated with you others he will blow his signal whistle. "If you ever hear this then there is serious trouble near by" he put away the whistle.
Charmine bathes in the bath. Cleaning every crevice of his body. After finishing he decides to join Feng’s proposed meeting. Waiting for all of them to gather he leans on a nearby wall.
Feng asks Kata Do we know the setup of this caravan and how many people and wagons there will be?
Kata would have looked at her copy of the contract, once finding it, skim read and then said, “Looks like the focus is on the wagon and protecting it. The only other people mentioned where the requester and his companion but they aren’t included in the contract.” She’d shrug, “A weird contract, but not the weirdest we’ve had.”
Feng nods along with what Kata says and repeats for clarity, So only one wagon, and two other individuals. Sounds great, not as daunting of a task as I thought. Was worried we had to do a caravan escort or something. Thank you ma'am for the opportunity, we will strive to bring honor to the Bannered Blades.
Feng turns to leave the office and starts walking down stairs. When he gets back to the common room he sees the others there. Well since this was my idea I guess I will go first. I have weapons training from my past, and while I aspire to be a healer, it is still difficult for me to do a lot in the same day. I can only do about 2 spells before I need to rest. So unfortunately my healing abilities will need to be for when they are most needed. Other then that I fear I may not be that useful.
Morg sits at his usual spot at the end of the table. He knows this planning session will be much longer than those at home and there will be confusion, but he is still excited about doing the work he was raised doing. He will wait for the "elders" to discuss the plan before he considers giving any input at any glaring errors. Morg is excited and antsy and attempts to keep it concealed from the others. Morg thinks about the different caravans and delivery runs he and his family have made over the years, the encounters with Giants, Goblins and various others; the broken cargo (quite a bit of broken cargo when Morg was in the cart), the broken cart brake that almost cost the family a wagon and that got Morg permanently banned from driving the carts and all the different people traveling through the Bloodstone Pass.
Morg is transported by his thoughts to his past and unaware of anything happening at the table.
(OOC should we also give a list of spells and cantrips we have chosen? To keep from having to look at other peoples C.S.? I can give an update on mine every time I reset my list. If no one else wants to it's cool)
(OOC totally go for what your character would like to use! so much more fun then going with spells strictly for the campaign.
Mine are Cantrips: mending, spare the dying, and sacred flame Level 1 I get 6 and have 2 spell slots: Bless, cure wounds, healing word, guiding bolt, inflict wounds, shield of faith)
"I prefer to be close to any attackers coming our way. Have only this little Toothpick to fight with, sadly" Talen takes on a feightened tragic expression and point behind him where his greatsword is. "Have a shortbow too however I like being close to them. The rest of you should perhaps be behind me? Anyway on guard duty at night I can take any time."
"Well, I'm sorry to say that I don't have much to offer in a fight- just a few darts, a sling, and my bare hands. But I do know a fair amount about surviving of the land and caring for animals, and I can be pretty slippery when I need to be." Lyle looks sheepish as he says this, fairly embarassed at his inability to help much in a fight.
Morg family has run caravans since before Morg. Looking tough works good Morg bash skulls, so skull bashing covered. Feng should ride on top, look tough make bandits scared think twice of attacking. Halfling best in back, not be a target. Charmine and Cors scout front, Morg cover rear. Something happen let Morg be the meat shield and bash skulls. Everyone keep eyes open, danger always waiting.

Looking around he asks everyone, Would you all like to meet up in the commons and discuss our skills and how to deploy them?
