"I was not scared."Biri replied curtly. "Just... taken aback. So long as we have an understanding now."She trails off there, adjusting her glasses again in clear discomfort. "We should remain focused. While the were's have yielded no result, we did acquire at least some information about dire wolves. And I do believe there was a bounty on their fangs. Which will just have to due, unless we find something else along the way."

A slender half-elf with a clean shaven head, hazel eyes, and carefully kept chain mail armor walks down the road approaching the entrance to the keep. Peering around speculatively, he watches people come and go, right hand resting on the head of the mace tucked through the iron loop on his belt. He shrugs his shield more securely onto his shoulder, showing off the painted emblem in its center, a right hand clad in a white gauntlet.
A tall, grizzled human of his middle years follows not far behind the bald half-elf to the entrance to the keep, glancing around at the walls and the people he passes. He stops next to him, tugging his unkempt brown beard, streaked with grey as it is. A long pole-arm with a barbed blade rests on the man's shoulder, clinking against his chain mail armour as he turns to face the half-elf.
"Hail, friend. Do you call this stronghold home?" He asks politely with a low, official-sounding voice. If it weren't for his obvious curiosity about his surroundings, it would be easy to mistake him for one of the guards or a local law enforcer.

Although the final goblin tries to flee, he cannot escape Black Cat's aim as he aims straight down. The group of goblins have been slain. As Rolend starts to collect their ears, he notes that none of the goblins were the one described in the bounty.
Encounter Over - XP Reward 300xp, 50 per character. 6 Goblin ears added to Rolend's Inventory.
(And just a heads up, I'll add the xp and items to the characters so don't worry about. On another note, Kierro why were you on 0 health when I was updating your sheet?)

As you all progress deeper into the forest, it thickens and the light starts to become more sparse. The trees' canopy starts to block more above as strange plants start to show. And as you move, you all can hear something moving about very fast. A crack of a tree branch sounds behind you as another snaps ahead of you. It seems to move closer yet also moves farther away each time you try to look at it.
@ Yuno
You actually smell something. Something akin to animal blood yet strangely twisted. Although animal blood is somewhat light, this one seems rather thick, as if it bathed in it. And the strange part to it, is how it makes you sick to your stomach. It's not overpowering, it's like your body is telling you there's something instinctually wrong with them. But it makes them easier to find, through the darkness, you can see their red eyes following your group.

(alpha war boys) Rolend asks the others: "Are there more tracks in the direction that goblin was running? I remember someone saying more than 6, with 2 bigger goons. That seems like a good direction to go, as long as we are careful not to trip into a trap.
"The ears for the bounty are collected. Do we pile up the bodies, burn them, or leave them where they fell for the wildlife take care of them?"

"About time." Biri pulls out and takes a swig of something from her flask, then says something akin to a prayer in draconic. With every breathe that follows, the lady in black exhales are accompanied by small puffs a mist again; only this time it doesn't go away(think a person outside in winter). Then at some mental command, Irib ends his surveillance of the patrol to fly to her. Along the way he keeps an eye out for trouble, though may be delayed in reaching the party.
Whether he sees something and gives some type of warning or doesn't, Biri keeps to the front with staff in hand and a determined look in her eyes. "Try not to stab yourself in a panic, young one."She says to the kid in the party.
Yuno sniffs the air and slows down. She licks her lips and says, "I smell blood. Animal Blood" Though her voice sounds the similar but not the same. It seems to lack the nervousness and is a bit more rough than her usual soft delicate voice. She comes to almost at a stop and tells the group, pointing at red eyes in the darkness, "There! They're following us."
EDIT: Got ninja'd reacting to Biri's comment because I'm assuming she's talking to Yuno when she says "Young one" Ignore following section if Biri wasn't talking to Yuno.
Yuno doesn't say anything to Biri. She just smiles sheepishly and nods.
The half-elf smiles and shakes his head "I call no place home." He shrugs the shield off of his shoulder and rests it on the ground. "I seek to spread the glorious knowledge of Torm, whom I serve in thought and action."
The man grunts in acknowledgement. "The tenets of Torm are ones that I often try to follow myself." He looks up at the large gate ahead of them. "Though it is Tyr that I seek to emulate." The man plants the butt of his pike into the ground and holds out his hand to the half-elf, weathered and calloused as it is. "Bernard." He offers with a thin smile and a nod.
