The door to the bar unexpectedly opens, and a figure dressed in a heavy coat of a nautical cut and a wide-brimmed hat enters. The hat is removed to reveal the face of a woman with long, dark red hair. She swaggers past the table without a glance and stops at the bar, rapping on it twice with her knuckles.
"Barkeep!" she says loudly. "I'll have a shot of rum. And as a chaser, I'll have a shot of rum."
She waits a moment, then suddenly seems to notice there is no barkeeper behind the bar. She looks around for one, then looks over the bar as if she expects to find someone hiding crouched behind it. With a sigh of disgust, she slides over the bar and pour two shots of rum herself before returning to the other side.
She sits on a stool there, back to the bar and a shot of rum in each hand, watching the meeting with interest.
I turn to Marun, "I thought we had the bar to ourselves? Good help is hard to find these days"
To Zephyre "Any other surprise guests we need to be aware of?"

He gestures around the table and says, "I happen to know of this drug that he speaks of it's called "Dragons Heir" and it is supposed to be some good stuff that will get you to a whole new level of being, but it comes with a heavy price...figuratively and literally." He then looks around the table and says, "I am sure it isn't a shock of what I am and what I do considering what I know of this drug and I will not hold it against any of you for judging me for it...after all it's not like I'm not used to it already. Cyst wanted to say something but the entrance of the pretty woman with red hair distractede for a moment and he refrained to speak, also because actually the half-orc already asked what he wanted to ask: BIG PAY
He waits for this Zephire to speak, lolling with the chair
The orc (half-orc, quarter-orc - whatever!) was right - if Zephyre wanted to work with authorities, he would do it already, instead of skulking the roofs and hiding bodies. But she was right too - corrupt or not, but authorities were already looking into it! That last part she repeated out loud:
- This is my point - authorities are already looking into it! Are you saying we are all criminals now, since we - no, you! - disposed of evidences?
Appearance of the bard did not let half-ork to answer (if he even was going to) and Nawien switched her attention to the newcomer. Only how she realized, she was the only woman in the company and even if that red-haired one was more dangerous than the rest of the room, it was a relieve to see her.
"How rude," says the stranger. "I thought bards were welcome at every event. So, what have we got going on here? Wedding? Funeral? Gravedigger's picnic?"
- Right with the last two, - Nawien could not hold sarcasm, - not sure whose graves, though. From the sound of it, more like ours. You might still leave and may be save yourself?
That sounded over-dramatic but what did not this strange evening?
- Wait, - she turned back to the table, last words of the orc finally sinked in, - are you saying you are a drag-dealer and the one who distributed that poison in the city?!
Rusty is continually amazed at the amount of time consumed debating and attempting to deceive and speak in half truths, inaccuracies, rumors, lies with a small amount of truth mixed into the conversation. He makes notes of several inaccuracies and even a racist comment concerning himself, when the newest member of this ever growing congress enters the pub. Rusty is slightly vexxed discovering the new arrival is a Bard. He finds that they are insatiable for carnal knowledge of anything willing, constant use of prose and verse and especially their bawdy and suggestive, juvenile innuendo to be very trying and counterproductive to thorough communication and action.
The drug is much worse than he was originally led to believe and the thought of messing with one's soul - however lacking the Warforged might be, they understand the importance of a being's soul - was unacceptable.

Thokk - Looks at the female human, "Listen, "Key Piece", or whatever your name is, I will answer your question which is more like an accusation by the way. Am I a drug dealer? Sure, I dabble in it from time to time as it is easy and it pays for the food that goes into my belly, as well as, all of the food and drink 'You' all happen to be partaking at the moment.", He looks at the warforged and says, "Except for you of course." Looking back at the human female, "Do I sell 'Dragons Heir'? No, it is a highly complicated drug to make and even harder to get involved with those who actually do sell it. In fact before he (points a thumb at the warforged) rudely interrupted my affairs from this evening I was attempting to get information to do exactly what you have accused me of doing...instead I get to hear some gobble-dee-gook that means nothing to me." Sitting back in his chair, "Not all of us can afford to live in an inner ring of this city, but I am a being of my word and will not hold it against you for judging me. Instead I will remind all of you that instead of going to the authorities you all came into this bar, sat at this table, and have been discussing matters that are criminal in nature and everyone at this table, except for our newest arrival, is guilty of not going to the authorities the moment a murder took place and equally guilty for allowing him (points at the elf) to cover it up."

"Shocking. Luckily I am merely a strolling bard in search of a drink, not an undercover city guard," murmurs the stranger.
Thokk - Looks at the person suspiciously and thinks, "Either they have a poor taste in humor or they are indeed a city guard in disguise." He then says, "For your information this was a private event and you weren't invited. I'll be sure to have a nice little chat with the bartender for not keeping to that arrangement. While the others may have oddly accepted you into this situation so easily I am not so easily trusting, especially since we don't even know your name as of yet. Strange jokes like that one you just made aren't always taken so lightly...you may want to be careful with what you say and to whom."
"So sorry," the stranger says, not looking sorry at all. "Where are my manners? Allow me to introduce myself: Layla Patayla, the finest banjo player in all of Grievers Hollow. Or at least," she says with a grimace, "I WAS until the terrible incident which destroyed my great-great-great grandmother's pearl-inlaid banjo and left me to wander voiceless through the world."
You notice the bard's lack of any musical instrument.

On the other hand we may all just die from a drug fueled government conspiracy." Picking up his mug he finishes what he has in it and starts eating the food that was brought out to them.
(OOC: Our club of Anonymous Adventurers is growing :) Hi, my name is Nawien and I am an Adventurer. (sorry, could not resist) )
- You did not have to do it, it's not like anyone else here introduced themselves. - Nawien turned back to the bard. -So far we only accidentally heard two names - that .... gentleman with blue scale ((how does one addresses dragonborn? She will ask later)) is Marun, and that ... person over there ("gentlemen" did not feel appropriate, but "murderous machine" did not sound polite) is Rusty. The rest never mentioned any name. But thank you, Layla.
Giving the name was either considered a bad custom here or was simply stupid. Still, someone had to show some trust.
- My name is Nawien and this is Ben. Nice to meet you all. - She looked ant the half-orc again. - And I did not accuse you of anything - was only asking because still not sure how did we end up here and what is wanted from us. - It looked like classical sob story of every criminal since the dawn of times "I just try to survive" genuinely touched her. She even blushed and stopped talking.
OOC: Just putting this out there I'm (Dean) not trying to be rude, Thokk is, I'm glad to see that the party is growing and that there is a lot more activity happening.
Thokk - Stopping himself from eating he says looking at Nawien, "You may have not meant to accuse me, but your disdain for my choice of practice sure did. I had already introduced myself when this was supposed to be a private meeting among those who were involved in the alley, however, let's go over this again shall we: I'm Thokk, (points to the dwarf) that's Dain, (points to other human male) that's Cyst, (points to the dragonborn) that's Marun, (points to the warforged) that's Rusty, (points to the elf) that's Zephyre, (points to the red head female) that's Layla, (points to the human couple) and you two are Ben and Nawien." He claps his hands together and says, "Great! Now that we all know each others names and are no longer strangers...let's get down to business."
"Great! Now that we all know each others names and are no longer strangers...let's get down to business."
“I couldn’t agree more. I mean despite how bad our situation appears, there doesn’t seem to be much of a choice. Either this drug keeps spreading and hits us eventually, or this strange elf keeps popping up silently in the shadows, continually disturbing our peace. Reuther way our lives are ruined.”
Zephyre - "Most of everything yall have said is correct. I cant exactly go to the authorities of such places in Arkadia because what little authority or governing that does exist has been specifically targeted by whom ever is behind all of this madness. I never said that ANY of you had to follow through with this mission, in fact it is an EXTREMELY dangerous situation unfolding and i havent even mentioned my most unsettling thought that has came across my mind. What is someone doing with all of that energy??? just one soul has an emense amount of energy hundreds or thousands of souls. . . So thats why its so important, the attacks are worrisome, but someone with that amount of power. . i dont know if the gods could even stop them. The lands i rule dont need to or want to be involved in any of the events occuring due to the matter. I would not have even bothered any of you if you hadnt disrupted my spying on the elf. My plan was to follow him to the last steps of development, take notes then eventually when he met with the "head hauncho" ,if the circumstances where right, i would assassinate them both or atleast subdue them.
If you decide to help me i could give anyone who survives nearly anything they want, whether its a castle and some land, or a pretty hefty sum of money". He pulls his dagger off his side, still sheathed and holds it at an angle in front of everyone slightly opening to show a small section of the blade.
"This dagger is over a thousand years old, passed down through centuries in my families bloodline, most of which ruled our country for hundreds of years each".
Everyone can tell by the mostly gold hilt embedded with diamonds, and rubbies of many colors. The blade looked paper thin and electricity danced up and down the blade.
"This is proof of me and my nations riches, i must stop this madness before it gets to my peoples sake. I also dont want to be walking the streets or road one day and out of now where some crazed person jumps on me and rips my throat out with its teeth!! I dont know how you all feel about that but it doesnt sounds fun to me."
"The good news is that i have more leads, several, the bad news is that this is about all i know about all of it. If anyone has questions just fire away i think i answered most of what everyone wanted to know about up to this point."
*OOC* i know there are some players i havent posted for in a long time and im sorry for that, mostly trying to get things going for the bulk of the group with what little time ive been able to do stuff on here lately.
"A Dragonborn, a half-orc, a pile of scrap metal, and an ugly dwarf walked into a bar, and i just followed to hear the punch line," said the red-haired woman. "But....almost ANYTHING I want?" She smirked. "That dagger WILL be on my list."

Thokk - Looking at Layla says sarcastically, "Well...if that is the case then drink and eat up if we are all lucky we will get quite the amount of money from this situation.

- So far we only accidentally heard two names - that .... gentleman with blue scale ((how does one addresses dragonborn?
