Maze is entirely focused on her plate. Selecting every bite with great attention and bringing them to her mouth, not with grace, but with care. Her food is at the center of her attention, and everything else seems to have stopped existing for her, until she hears the elf tell her name. "Orc territories..." she thinks, not pleased at all with this destination. She sends him a disapproving look and resumes her meal. Once she's done with her plate, Maze stands up and says to the elf "I heard you say something about being able to learn things that are hidden inside of us? Before I accept to simply walk back the way I came, I will need payment in advance in that matter. Also, I'm not about to serve anyone's plan before knowing exactly its intentions and how it could have consequences for my people and myself." Then, Maze walks toward the kitchen, asking for a large bucket of water, soap, and towels. Once she gets it, she walks toward the stairs and says "If anyone wants to talk with me, I'll be in my room for a while, so just come in."
Thokk - After goong upstairs and carefully checking to make sure that the string he placed was where it was (it was) he enters his room and grabbed his pack from where he put it and returned downstairs just in time to hear the elf give his speech. When he was done Thokk walked over to Dain and said, "It seems the elf has other ideas for you and Cyst...which is unfortunate.", He lightly claps him on the back and says, "Good luck! Perhaps we will join up on a different mission when we return." Walking over towards Maze and Rusty he says, "Well...it appears that I will be getting in touch with a portion of my ancestry.", Looking at Maze he says, "I guess it's a good thing we will be traveling with royalty...perhaps we should discuss what our plan shall be and what we need to for this trip."
"Aye, we shall meet up again. I think Rusty is going to be more put out by not getting a chance to meet young Laarz before heading off"

To those words, Maze puts the bucket of water she had under her arm, which looks more like a small bath, on the counter. Her face changes. Gone is her smile and upbeat innocent look. Thokk - Hearing what the elf said and then hearing Maze talk Thokk came to a quick thought and said, "I get it.", (Points his finger at the elf). Then he'll say, "That's clever and quite good...I now see why you chose Rusty to travel with Us.", He will take a seat and then say, "He's an insurance policy against Maze and I, in case we are to come into contact with the drug and happen to go like these other orcs. (He will look at Maze) He then says, "I am not full orc, but my blood may cause me to have similar problems as these other orcs, but you're a full orc...and you will become like them if you end up with the drug.", He will look back towards the elf and he says, "Okay. This just became a lot more serious.", (He looks at Rusty) "What will you need in order to take her (He indicates Maze with his hand) and myself out if it comes to that? I only ask so that we may buy it for the trip."
Zephyre stands, he seems oddly taller than the day before.
"Amazing, everything is coming together smoothly. The groups have came together on there own yet just as I would have suggested. The human/Elvish team will help get in and out of the Rings without suspicion and as for Marun, you could easily pass as a high born hierarchy as long as you try not to interact verbally much in the inner most rings. You can use this as advantage, Nawien and Layla can act and speak for you as a sign of foreign Royalty. After I brief you who and where the target is and you have succeeded in gathering information and subduing further operations, you will venture afar, of course I will be in touche as to where and how. I'll get with you after this long needed analasis."
"Rusty/Thok/and Maze will be heading deep into orc lands, this may be one of the toughest missions but I have confidence in the three of you as a whole."
Cyst and Dain, I would like for the two of you to head to Dwarven lands but before then I will have you meet with a close friend of mine. It sounds as though some of you have already met him, he is very distinguishable, and as intelligent as it comes. Larz is just a short ways from Ring City gathering material for the adventure."
"As for myself, I will head for the dessert where I believe the souls have been gathered. They will definitely be protected so for now I will have to just observe and report back with the lot of you for updates."
"So if Larz if not far away, will he come back here, or do we go meet him? He did seem to be a clever young dwarf, even if a little distracted at times. And I'm assuming that there will be a contact in the Dwarven lands, or something to look for?"
"I need mention that I am an outcast from my clan because of a cowards lies, so unless the situation has changed, my welcome may not be what you are expecting if we have to travel back to my clan....... it is possible that our clan being relatively insular news may not have spread to other clans, therefore I may still have some standing with them"

I can in theory, neutralize either of you. In a situation that I would need to contend with you both simultaneously would prove to be difficult if not improbable. I am not familiar with Orc physiology, but a toxin would be beneficial, perhaps one that could provide a prolonged incapacitation in the case you might be able to recover from the effects. A more potent form would be beneficial as well for a worst case scenario. Perhaps some of the amphibians you assaulted me with could be beneficial.
Thokk, do you have experience around full-blooded Orc biologicals? Will they be accepting or will there be hostilities?
Dain, I am interested in conversing with Laarz, but it is purely selfish concern and postponing until after this matter is completed is an option.

Thokk - Thinking on the what Rusty has just said to him he says, "Hmmm...that is a really good question. The closest I came to full-blooded orcs was the occasional one when traveling with my parents and they were paying customers so they were...friendly. Honestly, I don't know orc customs at all, my mother was a half-orc and my father was a human, but if the orcs that we come across are anything like Maze she hasn't killed me...yet." Sitting back in his chair he says, "As for the drug that I got you with I still have some of it, but I can't say for sure that it will be enough to fully knock out Maze and I. Even if you used all six, three for her and three for me, if we are in a heightened state of "blood lust" how are you going to get them into us? Typically people swallow them, which is why I put them in your mouth...I doubt you will have time to pop them into our mouths if we are both acting crazed.", He will sigh and then say, "I can't believe I am having this conversation, but do you have any ranged weapons that we could possibly have poisoned with something to knock us out?"

I am adequately equipped for both short range and long range confrontation, my standard configuration consist of dual daggers and a short bow. It would be judicious for me to procure a lethal and a less-than-lethal substance. I will need to confer with one that is more versed in Orc physiology, both full and part Orc. It would be ill advised to administer a lethal dose to you if the desired outcome is to incapacitate you, on the converse I need to make sure it is adequate to subdue Maze.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Eventhough Maze continues to talk, she wants answers from Zephyrs. The next post is, while we wait for Zephyrethe's post.
OOC: Intelligence 19 and wisdom 9 roll to see what kind of suggestions Maze can make on how to incapacitate raging orcs (with advantage for intelligence since it's knowledge about her own people)
Not waiting for the elf to answer, Maze looks at Thokk with just a little less anger in her voice and says: "Thokk, I will get us to my people, but instead of them coming to our aid, it may just be them that will be needing us. Our first objective is to get back to my kingdom and to find my father, he'll know what must be done... As to your concerns in regards of taking out an orc, know that Orcs are strong, very strong, brave, proud and short-tempered. What I can say of my people is that they are also honorable. That being said, this drug might have altered this last trait... So, if you want to take out an enraged orc, I wouldn't advise using force. It would be best to use ruse and spells that play with the mind. In the end, the objective should always be to knock out and tie up until the effect wears out. I will not be negotiable on that term." Following her last words, Maze closes her fist and hit the table with strength.
She then put both of her hands on the table and, facing Thokk, presenting him her massive cleavage again, but this time, without any intention to seduce. With a calmer voice, but also with a grave tone she continues, "There's something else... If this drug amplifies our temper, its effect may very well not be limited to bloodlust. It may also amplify... our lust... Without getting too much into details for now, Thokk..." then she looks at Rusty with a puzzled face, but continues, "Rusty... are you both ready to use all the means necessary to spare my people's lives, including using..." she pauses and looks seriously into Thokk's eyes before saying "... your charms...?" With a pinch of sadness in her voice Maze continues "Those are people, my people, and they have been poisoned. I will not fight them without having considered every other alternatives..."
Contrary to my previous actions, termination of a being is not my prefered method of dealing with biologicals. My previous encounter with the Orc Thokk was one that all other options for the completion of my mission were exercised and I had to implement my plan of action. Less than lethal force is prefered, especially as we will be in the Orc territory and we will not need any more entities attempting to subjugate our mission.
Unfortunately my "charms" as you stated are a limitation of my modified being. This is the purpose of my inquiry to the Dwarf known as Laarz, he seems to be a gifted tinkerer and perhaps he is a learned Artificer. Based on my limited interaction with other beings of my origin, I have concluded that through damage that caused my original termination and incompetent modifications and repairs from others that my current self is largely deviant from my original creation and from other Warforged in general. This is a narrative that may be discussed further after our current affairs have concluded.
"I don't know about the two of you," Marun looks at Nawien and Layla, "But as soon as we get these clothes sorted, and a few directions, I'm ready to go. The more we sit and chat, the longer it is going to take to deal with this issue."
Marun takes a final bite of his meal and then stands up to take the plate and utensils back up to the bar. "Look, sorry Laaz. I know you only hired me yesterday, but it looks like I gotta go. Saving the world and all. you know?"
Nawien was watching orcs discussing - admittedly - very worrisome things but her mind was occupied by other matters.
"How one addresses a Dragonborn Noble?" Answered she to Marun's remark. "If we are your interpreter and assistant we have to know".
"As of clothing - do not think we are about to leave just yet. If I understood our proprietor correctly, first we will have to learn about our target - by some means yet unknown but outside of this tavern - and only then we will return here to "dress up"? Good to know, though, that all equipment will be waiting for us right here. As Layla said - all expenses covered!"
"Yes, though giving us the gold outright would give us a bit more...control over our mission," Layla grumbled. "I mean, you're obviously going to be dressed up as his interpreter and a scholar, but what role will I be equipped to play? His fellow noble? His love slave? His bodyguard?" Whatever she would be, it would apparently NOT involve an insanely fat pouch of gold coins in her pocket. Damn. "It would be nice to have a little time to prepare."

"I guess you would refer to me as a Clan Leader, or Barbuljar. That means Blue War Leader or War Leader of the Blue Clan in Draconic. Don't worry, it is not typical for my people to require servants. We earn our rank through achievements and individual effort, not ancestry." Marun, referring to Layla, says, "It would not be uncommon to see someone of high rank to travel with an advisor of some kind, or a Keeper of the Coins."
"Keeper of the Coins sounds promising,"says Layla. Maybe that bag of coins would be a possibility after all. "Count me in, oh Royal Barble-jar."

Sitting back in his chair he says, "As for the drug that I got you with I still have some of it, but I can't say for sure that it will be enough to fully knock out Maze and I.

"Keeper of the Coins sounds promising," says Layla. Maybe that bag of coins would be a possibility after all. "Count me in, oh Royal Barble-jar."

"Barbuljar Marun disapproves of mispronunciation of his title" ceremoniously said Nawien to Layla, but then laughed. "Don't worry, as an assistant - sorry - Keeper of the Coins not of the clan, I am sure you are entitled to at least an accent."
"Do love Draconic! Every word is so heavy and meaningful - you can feel it's weight!" Nawien was absolutely sincere in her admiration - grim future of the world and unknown tasks ahead obviously paled in comparison to wonders of the linguistic discoveries.
