As Ree'lyn spoke, Svana finished her glass and set it to the side. She had met many noblemen like him, charming, ambitious, a natural smooth talker, but each one always had or wanted something and she knew the drow was no exception (even if what he speaks was true). "Yes," She finally answers. "We can. We learn in life that every action has a consequence, good or bad. Do you believe your suave way of speaking will get people to agree to trade with a drow?" There's a playful smile that dances on her lips. "After all, your people nothing but bad company in the surface worlds eyes, even if you offer new and exciting things. There's always a motive, something behind the scenes. What is it? What motivates you, Ree'lyn?"

Quinn cocks his head sideways, and smiles slightly
"Yeah, when you get stuck in your head too long it does things to your head. Sometimes its best to just hear someone else's voice. Or just so say things out loud.
"At this very moment, Lady Svana, you motivate me." - Ree'lyn says as he corks the bottle up and picks up the cup Svana was drinking from. - "I can actually show what I speak of. I can facilitate the trade between two historically rival ends making the wonders flow from one to another." - he says clearly sober and sharp of mind. - "I want means to have contacts in thelegendary Tel-quessirterritories." - he takes his bottle and cups close to him, as he readies himself to leave. "If I show you the wonders of my world, Lady Svana, would you show me the wonders of yours?" - at that, the drow bows courteously yet again, with a wink. Then turns away and leaves.
Duke walks over to Ree'lyn, once he has finished speaking with Svana. "Observation: You have engaged in inquiries with multiple members of this group, including myself, Svana, and Amara. Inquisition: What information do you seek to gather from such a disparate grouping?"

While the others talk, Step Step Thud puts the jar of Globbagool across from him and sits down to show the slime his shinies, giving him a detailed backstory for every colorful rock and piece of gold.
Upon being interpellated by DUKE, Ree'lyn motions to the warforged to take a sit by his side. - "I am glad you joined me." - the drow says with a stern look in his face. "Earlier you had inquired about gods and the bonds people make to each other. I noticed your curiosity. And curiously, the answer to your question is something I was aiming to talk to you about" - then Ree'lyn looks at his bottle and cups, but shrugs it off dismissing the idea right away. "Our freedom, DUKE, means we must seek out to take our steps, to make our decisions and be rewarded or punished accordingly; individually. Each of us. Yet, the gods and demons try to steal that from us. It is happening right now, DUKE. Right here. In my home. Do not get fooled by gods, DUKE. Never. If any god, demon or other entity try to take something from you, make sure you are going to take a much bigger chunk from them. And for a long-lasting time." - breathing deep, the drow has, for the first time in this journey, showed his concerned look at someone. "Promise me, DUKE. Promise me you will be free by never letting demons or gods take your will and always, always, taking the blame or the glory for your actions."
"Declaration: I am not concerned with gods at this time and from what I have heard about demons, they do not sound like beings to listen to. Secondary Declaration: At this time we have not yet secured our freedom. It would be unwise for any of this group to make such commitments. Observation: The subject of gods, demons, and other entities has caused you to display signs of distress. Inquisition: Why?"

As if working an invisible controller, Jezzika’s fingers moved, and the cosmic scene above them changed as the spoke. Slowly the astronomical display changed as if they were actually moving through the expanse of space, and beautiful celestial objects slowly moved by. ”Umbra taught me this trick. I would spend hours upon hours on the floor after my schooling and training and it would speak to me, explaining to me things, answering my questions. Satisfying my craving for knowledge. Sometimes things Umbra said to me I didn’t understand, and it told me in time I would. My parents grew worried about my behavior, for when I grew up Umbra taught me how to manipulate darkness and shadow in a way that seemed unnatural. In exchange for knowledge, answers, and power - it told me it will groom me to be its herald.”
Ash nods in understanding and watches the celestial show that Jezzika is creating. "It definently is a neat trick. Not that I would have a chance to use it from where I was from. Never a dull day there. Always working and playing at the same time. One big crazy family in a way... The closest thing to a family I may ever have."

"That, my automaton friend, is a conversation for when you are able to get drunk. Then we will share a bottle or two, and let our minds wandering without distress." - upon saying that, Ree'lyn turns his heels to make his way to another part of the Darklake shore.
When passing by Jezzika and Ashryn, Ree'lyn delicately places his bottle and both cups on the female drow warlock, smiling. "Enjoy what is left of the evening and the bottle, ladies. See you when we break camp." - then, retiring for his reverie.
"I gave up my family when I ran away. We are an arrogant, cruel, backstabbing, elitist society - our every action looking to appease Lolth. Can you imagine how bad it must have been for me to actually decide to run away? My parents always treated me poorly. I wonder. Do they care that I left? Are they even looking for me the way Ilvara is looking for us? What would I do if I even ever reach the surface. Sunlight stings my eyes and is very hot on my skin. The only way I can enjoy the sun is by this trick.."Jezzika snapped her fingers and the view zoomed into the Toril star system, our planet lazily orbiting around it's star. "..I have never felt many things you take for granted, like the warmth of a spring day, or walking along the beach, feeling the sand between my toes."
Ash sighs as she looks up at the stars above them. "Perhaps one day, once we're out of all this, I can take you back to meet my family. They'd take you in. The star trick would amaze almost anyone. You are special. As are we all. You would fit in well with my family." She offers Jezzika a smile and her face blushes a little before she looks back up to the stars.

Amara folds up her map, moves over to her bag and puts away her journal and the map in its unknown location, and begins her trance, choosing tonight to relive some of her fonder memories around training with Laia before any of the mayhem from her first time in the Underdark occurred.
"Some of us are a little more special than others."Jezzika said sultry to Ash as the redhead looked up at the magical display of stars. The drow resisted the urge to caress her hair, and she looked at Ash for as long as she could until Ash would look back, and then Jezz would smile and turn her attention back to the stars. "I would like to one day meet your family."she admitted happily.
That night, when the group woke up, Jezzika's teddy bear would be the first thing Ree'lyn would see as he woke up, about two inches from his face.
DAY SIX ENCOUNTERS: Rolled before. None. PURSUIT LEVEL:TWO
On day six we gathered our things and continued along the coast of the Darklake. Thankfully, nothing bothered our hurried journey to a major settlement called Sloobludop that Shuushar said was only a day away. He was excited to get back home and we didn't waste any time. Just one more day. That's all. Then, some sort of civilization. Shuushar spent a lot of time talking about his village, and we yearned to arrive just so he would shut up.
Ash wakes up a few feet from Jezz, both (assumingly) falling asleep under her created stars. When she wakes, she refluffs her hair, stretches, and grab the wine that Ree'lyn had left that night. As the group begins to stir and they walk, she thrusts the bottle into his arms and offers him a smile. "Here. We didnt drink it. But thanks anyway. Maybe you can use it to pry someone else for answers eh? Maybe pick someone else for your leftovers next time...?" She then moves towards the center of the group as they travel.
By the time they stop for a rest, she is surveying their surroundings, slightly happier than before as she rubs her thumb on the case of her tarot cards, lost in thought.

Step Step Thud hops around the camp with the jar of Globbagool on his head, searching for the highest place to give the slime a good vantage point. When he sees Ashryn pull out her tarot cards, he jumps down and heads over, placing the jar of Globbagool in front of her.
He points to the jar, then at the cards, “Read! Please?”
As usual, when they camp, the first thing Amara does is examine her map and calculate how much time is left before they arrive at their destination, then update the map with her new findings.
