Robbed again! Edeleth didn't understand why thieves seemed to be drawn to him. You would think 80 years of tending the sacred grove would have washed the stink of the Aldelire family's wealth and privilege off him. Now the druid approached a new town without a coin in his pocket, wondering if he could earn a meal, or even a few coins, doing gardening or yard work.
After three weeks of living on Goodberries, the first thing he thought when he saw the rampaging tavern was, "Drumsticks...that would be good." He started casting Create Bonfire--may as well cook the things while subduing the creature--and then he heard the screams of the people inside the tavern. Fire would not be a good option. He stopped the spell with a sigh and pulled out his bow...
20 for initiative
Edeleth, you were on the bridge when you see this whole madness happen. You also get to take an action this round before the Monster/NPC. You could possibly attempt to shoot: the pole to help the dwarves escape the building/the chicken legs, although right now they are just dangling over the crevasse, not being much of a threat...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(ooc: In that case, i will shoot the pole in an attempt to help the dwarves escape. :) Since none of my prepared spells would help in the situation yet.)
Assuming that requires an attack roll or dex check: 19 for attack roll, or subtract 2 for dex check.

Peshley looks around trying to spot some way to use the zip line to follow the tavern. There is no way she can keep up by foot. Surely there is some mechanism for transferring things between the two peaks.

OOC: if there is a method of using the zip line available, and she spots it, she is going to try and use it.
If not then she is resigned to running over the bridge.
As Saerirra struggles to keep up with the Ziplining Chicken Tavern Monster, inspiring Cade (3rd bardic inspiration use), she tries to tip over a wooden pole to a group of Granit Clan Warriors at the front door...unsuccessfully...
but Edeleth comes out of nowhere, and as the pole is falling away from the dwarves, shoots it. The arrow sticks in the pole, and redirects it to them. One of them catches it..."
Monster/NPCs Turn
Alright Lads! With me on three! One...Twoooo...Three!!
The Three Dwarves launch themselves into an Olympic style pole vault from the Ziplining "Fast Food Joint" onto the bridge, all of them stacked on top of the pole hugging each other, epically vaulting over the gap, and landing heavily onto the bridge, shattering the pole and falling all on top of each other, whooping and cursing all at the same time.
Meanwhile, Laeievis, still inside the tavern, gracefully climbs on to the roof using a chandelier as a propeller and is now "surfing" the tavern.
Zyman shields himself from flying debris, hiding under a table.
Everyone else is now free to take their turn. Peshley, yes there are small cabins attached to the Ziplining cable, as well as several individual handlebars connected to metal wheels, and a brake lever
Peshley sees the cabins hanging from the zipline and jumps into one of them to chase the tavern. Although the handlebars seemed fairly obvious as to how to use them, they wouldn't leave her hands free, which was important. "Let's go get the chicken!!!" She jumps in to the cabin, not knowing if anyone is following, or even cares what she is doing and pulls on the first thing that looks like a break release.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
[OOC] When it is my turn again.
- Up! Everybody climb up! - Laeievis tryed to over shout the noise of flying and tumbling bodies and furniture inside.
If there is any rope (not sure he climbed up with his backpack intact?) or chain around, or anything else to help others to get to the top - he will do it. The goal is to get everyone first on the roof, second - on the zipline itself, away from the monster.
Uther now not sure how to help, ( since the chicken feet are no longer useful ) decides to keep following the tavern. He jumps unto a pile of debris then jumps again hooking his great axe on the zipline.
Cliffhanger moment...Uther and Peshley, as you are both on the zipline, you may both try and catch Grunda as a reaction. ROLL A DEX SAVE DC 13.
Uther I believe Saerirra's basic inspiration is still active, and Peshley I believe you still have bless active from 2 rounds ago...
Peshley hears the screams coming from the chicken tavern in front of her. She looks around for a rope or safety device of some kind. As she does so she see a figure begin to fall frantic she flings it out to him.
As the Moving Building slides 60feet down the cable, Peshley and Uther decide to go for the cable. Peshley ditches the old wizard on the street pavement, jumps into a small cart, hits the lever and books it, while Uther "slow mo" jumps onto a pile of debris and uses as a step to jump over the edge, hooks on to the cable with his axe, creating a trail of firey sparkles as he slides down the cable, both of them keeping up with the tavern (OOC Uther you didnt roll for it, but thats just too cool to not happen, and I'm trying to keep things moving)
Laeivis, still surfing the Tavern, helps 1 person up the roof (a random female human commoner). Still 12 people inside. And you definitely have rope with you (like every last D&D character made since 1974 lol).
The shock of hitting the cable causes Grunda to fall down the hole she and Fanir smashed in the floor.
She start plumetting down the 3000feet high gap between the two Peaks, but is miraculously saved by Peshley, who grabs her rope and lassoes Grunda in the air and ties the rope to the Zipline cart.
The rope extends all the way (50feet), almost snapping under the Goliath's weight, and almost sending Peshley flying off, but still holds her by the wrist. Grunda is now dangling from Peshley's zip line cart, with Uther right behind.
Meanwhile, on the street pavement, Cade notices the passed out wizard that Peshley ditched...the same one that caused the Tavern to sprout chicken legs in the first place....
Watching Uther and Peshley chase after the tavern and knowing there's little she can do to help at this point, Saerirra will turn back to tend to those who have made it out, the mother and daughter and the passed out wizard(And any others if I have forgotten any), and breaking out her healer's kit if necessary.
Medicine Check: 10 (Awful roll this time, not sure if this could cover everybody, or if I need to make rolls for each person)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Uncertain whether it would help stop or slow the sliding building, or if his rope would even be long enough, Edeleth quickly tied one end to the bridge and the other to an arrow, firing the arrow toward the tavern.
He cursed the fact that spells like 'entangle' seem so useless until you really, really need them.

Elvish memory produced yet another wonder - Laeivis did not lost his backpack and beloved and so useful rope! He did not expect a random human woman to demonstrate any climbing skills, but made sure to ask - if she thinks she can do it, Laeivis will secure her on a zipline (rope around the waist and to the line). If woman would not risk it - she stays with him. Should Uther reach the roof - Laeivis will help him to land as soft as possible (so not to drop the whole building down). And while explaining his idea to the half-orc about getting everyone out to the zipline with hope to drop the empty giant wooden chicken, he continues his "fishing" of patrons (probably with Uther's help?).
But above all - he will try to assess how firmly our "fast food" is attached to zipline? Is there a risk for the sudden drop? If it is - patrons will have to wait, Laeivis will try to fix the the attachment more secure.

Seeing the huge Goliath hanging by a rope from beneath the cavern, Peshley realises that there is probably no way she can get him into the cabin, but she decides to try anyway. She ensures the rope is secured tightly and then starts to haul on the rope. She doesn't expect it to move, but braces herself and puts in all her effort.
