Once that’s done, he’s looking to exchange his damaged leather armour for a set of studded armour, for a bit more protection, as well as looking to get a a healer’s kit and a potion of healing. Any surplus on the price he’s trying to haggle down, but will pay directly.

Once he has his books and gear, he’ll return to the Hanging chicken and get ready for the feast.

Peshley makes her way back to the Hanging Chicken. Her head swimming with foreign words, hand gestures and ingredients and she considers the latest spells she has been studying. Upon her arrival at the inn, she quickly says her hellos and claims a room. As the door shuts behind her, Peshley dumps her gear at the foot of the bed, kicks off her boots and sits cross-legged on her bed. Taking up her spellbook, she reads one more time her latest acquisitions. As she does so she ponders exactly how Phantasm might help her in a fight; the way Unseen Servant might help run her father's business on her return; the way she might combine hold person and floating disk.
As she sat and pondered, Hirangi flew down unseen and perched on her windowsill, looking out over the ravine below.

Before joining the festivities in the bar, Saerirra would make her way upstairs towards her room, running into Zyman along the way, sanding in front of Peshley's door.
She smiles and walks up to Zyman. "You are interested in magic as well? As am I. I'm sure we could learn from each other, the three of us. Peshley is one of my traveling companions and I know her to be a very adept practitioner. As I am sure we each have our own preferences and styles with magic, it would be quite fascinating what we could learn just from each other, let alone elsewhere. Ah, forgive my lack of manners. My name is Saerirra, what is yours?"
Cade - After walking into town and getting closer to the tavern and receiving such a warm welcome Cade starts pointing out all manner of things to Ellethy and explaining how the tavern came to be where it currently sits and who different people were as they passed them by, though he was quite curious about the dog that appeared to be standing on two legs he made a mental note to ask someone about not only who that was, but how? Wanting to get in to the tavern and get a room together Cade, Ellethy, and Baron make their way to a room and get settled in and after a long conversation with Ellethy to which answers were given and conclusions were made Cade sat down and pulled out pen and paper and began to write...many hours later and deep into the night he finally thought he had something worth presenting at the banquet.
Edeleth returns to the Hanging Chicken with his purchases. He is given his old, comfortably familiar room back, and sits at the desk to write. His first letter is to High Druid Talos Vithan.
Master Talos,
You will be pleased, I hope, to know that the first tree has been planted. It was not in the sort of place we might have preferred, but I unexpectedly came across a spot that seemed desperately in need of a sacred tree. In point of fact, this journey has been one unexpected event after another, quite unlike the Sacred Grove.
Edeleth pauses, hardly knowing where to start. The robberies, the assault on Oakfields, the cabin treasure, the miracle of the ascended hyena, the dead zone, the Family, the odd assortment of friends he had made...
Suddenly it strikes Edeleth that he might have been sent on this journey less to plant Naranda trees, than to prepare him for his future post of High Druid.
No, ridiculous. He is not some wide-eyed farm lad from an adventure ballad. He is a fully mature 145-year-old elf, forged in the bitter-cold fires of court politics. He had spent a lifetime studying nature, and now he is away from his books and gardens. He had spent eighty years tending and communing with the Sacred Grove, and had known every animal, plant and blade of grass that grew there. Now he is gone, and they are living without him, dying without him, new ones being born every day without him. When he returns, half the grove will be new to him. No, this journey is not part of his education. It is an interruption of it.
He finishes his letter to the High Druid, and begins a letter to King Celairatar and Queen Nenlelun. Resisting his impulse to apologize again over the stolen horses, he briefs them on the news he has heard of the wars in the east, the Gnoll incursions, and the rumors of a mysterious Red Lord. He hopes that Lomalos remains at peace, but suggests that it wouldn't hurt to strengthen the border patrols. He mentions the planting of the tree briefly, but since there is no political value to be gained from a planting in a dead zone in an abandoned farm town, he supposes they might not be enthusiastic over his choice of locale.
Finally, he writes a much more personal letter to the royal children, describing his more exciting adventures--being robbed three times, meeting Pebbles in both his forms, fighting hyenas and gnolls, his hair's-breadth escape from certain death, traveling with the gypsies, and the fortune-teller's prophecy of treasure. If there is a treasure to be found, I wish you could be with me to find it, all of us carrying shovels taller than ourselves again. Do you remember the treasure hunt in the cabbage garden? He hesitantly addresses it to Princess Anarórë. It will start the court gossips up again, making baseless assumptions about his relationship with the princess. (She is more a big sister to him than anything. More a sister than his actual sisters.) But he knows that if the letter is delivered to Prince Lintelér, it will probably end up buried in a stack of official work until the prince has time to read it, and Prince Kalrondo would probably read five words, toss it aside to go out hunting or jousting, and forget about it.
He lets all of them know he will be at the Hanging Chicken until the end of winter, and will be likely to return there occasionally as long as he is in the East. He hopes he will hear from them.
As he finishes there is a knock at the door. It is a delivery gnome from the jeweler's shop--his new signet ring has been finished early. Edeleth returns to the writing desk, melts sealing wax over the folded parchments, and presses his new signet into the soft wax. It leaves the image of a winged hyena sitting inside the curve of a crescent moon. Let them make of that what they will.
Setting the letters aside until he can see to posting them, Edeleth opens a secret flap in the bottom of his backpack that none of the thieves ever found, and extracts a suit of fine clothes, worthy of the royal court, for tonight's banquet. Silks in blue, green and white, with gold embroidery. And horribly wrinkled. Uttering a terse Squirrel swear word, Edeleth goes downstairs to see if he can find someone to smooth the creases out for him. Sadly, there is no 'ironing' cantrip in his arsenal of spells.

Uther looks to his left to find a fellow hero ordering some ale. At this point there are around six empty flagons of ale on the bar next to Uther and the seventh in his hand. "Ahh my f-friend" he pauses as he is not sure what to call him " fellow hero, let me tell you. I have seen through them. I know." He points to his chest with the flagon, dropping some ale as he waves his hand. "They tell you be yourself, be forthright, but-but when you doo" he sips his drink as he gets closer to Roscoe to whisper , tipping the stool that was between them "when you do, they will use that against you. And crush you, smashing your heart to pieces." He nods to emphasis his point.
Then turns to the barkeep "Gavin ! Gavin, i feel my hand is getting lighter. " he shakes his flagon to show it is empty, though it spills a bit but Uther doesnt notice.

Edeleth easily finds the City's Raven mail service, located in the Granit Palace at the center of the Higher Peak, and for a meager 2gp, sends his letter to his home Kingdom in the Westwoods. The local Raven Master says it should take about 4 days to get there (the Westwoods are about four to five hundred miles away from the Three Peaks).

Zyman DID manage to get a hold of some relevent books that he BORROWED from the Arcane University (they are due back in a week)
After the study session, Saerirra makes her way down to the bar to await the banquet. Spotting Uther getting drunk at the bar, she takes a seat next to him.
"Hello Uther. Is there a reason you are drinking so much so soon? Is it an Orc custom to gulp down large amounts of ale before a banquet? I hope I am not offending, I merely wish to learn all I can of other's cultures and traditions. I do hope you are not drinking out of some form of distress. At the very least, you should save room for the food from the banquet that is apparently being prepared in all our honor, our group's and the other group we met today. Who knows, Cade and I may put on another performance for everyone."
As Uther is getting trashed at the bar with Roscoe, Gavin looks at him, nodding in approval. He snaps his fingers, and the Unseen Servants poor Uther another ale. The mug floats gently in the air, and lands gently on the counter, next to the 6 or 7 empty ones in front of him...
"Ah, Lady problems...let me tell ya' lad, sometimes, ya' just have to be patient. I remember this Druid girl I met once in a distant land. She was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen...I truly thought I had a chance. The way she looked at me...we even had a night together after nearly dying from a battle with an Umber Hulk. Then next thing you know, she ran off with this Bard wanker...but one day, I know she'll be back..."
Gavin pours Uther, Roscoe and himself a shot of whiskey, and raises his glass. "To heartbreak, the one think more painful than being stuck in a bloody grey Ooze!"
By the way, everyone notices a new addition to the Tavern's trophy wall: a Giant Tentacle.
As Gavin downs his shot, the Sun sets over the City, and the three Moons of Talaveroth now bathe its streets in their dim light.
He looks around, and shouts to the rest of the Patrons: "Alright! Lasses and Lads, the Hanging Chicken is now closed for the evening! Thank you for ye'r support, now finish yer' drinks and BUGGER OFF! I'll see ya' tomorrow!"
He then turns to all the Pcs.
"Now, follow me this way..."
He leads everyone into a room none of you have ever seen in the Inn, past multiple corridors and hallways, to a dead end, in a seemingly unfinished part of the building.
He stares at the wall, then turns to the Pcs and says "Follow my lead..."
He places his right hand on the stone wall, and says "Gavin Mc Kullick", as if reciting a spell incantation.
He then walks straight through the wall...

Peshley opens the door to find Saerirra talking to an unfamiliar face. She hears the request and invites both of them in. “I do study the arts a little.” Peshley is intrigued by this unexpected visit. “Why don’t you tell me what you know so far and I’ll see what I can add.”
Peshley listens to what they have to say, trying to recall any knowledge she may have on the topic
ARCANE: 25
Peshley Saerrira and Zyman take a couple of hours to study each other's spells, and styles of magic: Bard Wizard and Warlock.
Zyman DID manage to get a hold of some relevent books that he BORROWED from the Arcane University (they are due back in a week)
