Pierpont looks around, trying to determine if the ship has stopped or if we are still moving toward the island. The warning of the curse continuing to play on his mind. Was this curse automatic from stepping on it, or was there something on the island protecting it?
"I suggest we continue to keep this creature as a prisoner and then maybe the captain can take him back to the mainland where someone can further question him about the island." Aka suggests.
"I'm inclined to agree. At the very least I'd rather not kill something in cold blood. Besides I'm sure the wizards back on the mainland would love a chance to question it."
"huh. Well that's one problem solved but now we have a much bigger one. How are we supposed to get on this island without falling victim to its curse? Assuming of course the creature didn't simply say that to try and scare us off though I'd rather not test that theory."
"Captain, by chance do you know where these creatures the hydraloth were talking about came from or where there "base" might be? If so, maybe we should head there and see what it is about or maybe offer our services, if they even want it. Depending on what it looks like, maybe we can acquire some of those suits it was talking about." Aka says.
Pierpont, sighs in relief as the creature disappears. He takes a moment to retrieve his bow and sheath his sword. Keeping his bow in hand he continues to watch the water and shoreline ahead of them.
Aka surmises, "Well then off to the island we will go and lets hope we will not be affected by the island like the hydroloth warned we would be. There is a possibility it only effects outsiders so maybe we will be fine. Only really one way to tell is to make our way there and then find out what happens. How much longer is it Captain?"
Aka replies, "Sounds good to me, shall we get underway. This island sounds more and more fascinating by the moment and I definitely want to experience this for myself."
Pierpont looks at the others, "I think we head straight to the island. That's where we were told to go to. If there is anything on that ship worth salvaging, we can always get it on the way back."

You are still moving towards the island, albeit slowly.
What will you do with the Hydroloth?
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
As you approach the creature to take it belowdecks, it grins, closes its eyes, and suddenly dissolves into a plume of water.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Aka looks on with confusion and amusement, "Or we can let it do that and not worry about it anymore."
"huh. Well that's one problem solved but now we have a much bigger one. How are we supposed to get on this island without falling victim to its curse? Assuming of course the creature didn't simply say that to try and scare us off though I'd rather not test that theory."

"I've no idea about any of this. I'm just taking you here."
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
"Oh, about 30 seconds."
You all realize that you are almost right next to the island now, only a little bit away.
"I'll drop anchor a little bit away, and have someone take you in on a boat. Sound good?"
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Aka replies, "Sounds good to me, shall we get underway. This island sounds more and more fascinating by the moment and I definitely want to experience this for myself."
"Agreed, it's high time got this rescue mission underway, but be alert, who knows what else we will run into."
Brotherhood will prepare to join the others as we are escorted to the island.
Pierpont walks over to the rail, eager to get underway on the island. “Captain, will you be staying here for our return?”
"Yes, but far away. Very far away."
You are brought to a small boat, piloted by a middle aged human. It is lowered down after you all get in, until it rests in the water.
"Where to? The island, the ship, or somewhere else?"
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Pierpont looks at the others, "I think we head straight to the island. That's where we were told to go to. If there is anything on that ship worth salvaging, we can always get it on the way back."
Renn speaks a little brusquely, "Just get us to the Island."
Liarin: Against the Cult of the Reptile God
Adewild: Shadows and Light 2
Brother Thaddeus: Rime of the Frostmaiden.
"Island sounds like the plan, get to it, sir." Aka responds.
Brotherhood nods along with the others "The island if you would sir."
