Elethy smiles back at Saerrira. "Well, you and Uther definitely seemed like you were enjoying each other's company. There was some kissing involved, but as far as I know, I don't think anything else happened...I mean, after everything that you two have been through, I'm not surprised..." She giggles again.
"You know, I think Uther is quite the catch...for a half Orc..."

"You know, I think Uther is quite the catch...for a half Orc..."
Saerirra smiles, places a hand on her chest and breathes a sigh of relief.
"In that case, I am relieved. It is not that I think ill of Uther, mind you. He's been nothing but kind to me since I met him. It's just...well, I'm saving myself." If it is possible to see a blush on the scaled cheeks of a Dragonborn, they would be slightly visible now for a moment. "It is a tradition for the women of my family. But I have been rather selfish, I admit. If you like, perhaps you could tell us about how you and your new husband met. It seems Cade is just as in the dark about you as I was with Uther. The Feywild is a beautiful and mysterious place, after all. Even those who've never been there can't deny that."
Ellethy sighs. "Well, as I said, when I saw Cade, I instantly fell in love with him. I thought he knew of the Fey wedding traditions, since he is a Chosen of Hyram...but I guess I got too excited...i hope I'm not being too pushy on him. I would hate to scare him away..."

"This is just a guess on my part, but I think he seems open to the idea, just rather surprised by it all. I bet if you keep making him delicious meals he'll be just as in love with you in no time. After all, you know what they say, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach." Saerirra giggles quietly.
"I consider myself a decent cook, however what you've made here is wonderful. You could make a living as a chef if you wanted to."
The next day, Uther wakes up a little earlier than the rest. He quietly packs his things and stands outside with grooming Taranonn while he waits for the group to wake up.
Cade - Waking up in the tent that he now shared with his wife Ellethy and Baron staring at the two of them snuggled together on the other cot Cade wasn't sure what to think: On the one hand he could have Ellethy join the group on the rest of the adventure to which her Fey magic might be of great help, but that could put her into harms way and he wasn't ready to have someone get hurt or die because of him.
On the other hand if he told her to leave or to stay behind for her safety she might see that as a rejection and though he barely knew her he didn't want to outright turn her away, but the dangers ahead could be impossible to judge and he wasn't sure what kind of future he and Ellethy could hope to have regardless of the outcome.
As he was finishing his thought he saw Uther standing by Taranonn and gave a small wave in his direction. He felt bad for Uther due to the fact that he didn't hide his feeling for Saerrira and she has yet to return those feelings...it made him sad to think that he may end up doing the same to Ellethy and made his decision all the more difficult to ponder.
So, at this point, unless anyone has anything in particular they would like to do during the half day's travel, the PCs will make it back safely to the City of the 3 Peaks
(I think I've done all I can do, so unless someone wants to talk to Saerirra long the way I'm good to go****y thing else I can think of would be...)
Saerirra would look to Cade as the group rides their mounts back to Three Peaks and says, "Say Cade, when we get back to Three Peaks do you think we should look for that man who told us about the "big leagues" for performances? Whatever that means, anyway. Althulius Gambles was his name, I believe."
Peshley packs up her gear and gets Pony loaded, ready for the journey back to Three Peaks. As they travel, she rides Pony beside the others so she can still chat if needed. Hirangi flies overhead keeping a watchful eye on the surroundings.

Cade - Hearing Saerirra quietly replies, "Once I figure out what is going on with my marriage then I will gladly check that out with you."
OOC: Updated, thanks. It was a cart, not a wagon, Uther had been talking about when leaving, but just went back and reread and he decided to buy a large horse instead.
OOC: Updated, thanks. It was a cart, not a wagon, Uther had been talking about when leaving, but just went back and reread and he decided to buy a large horse instead.
(I didn't think we had either a cart or a wagon, but hey if we do, we do, so much the better, i just missed it is all.)
As Team 1 and 2 make their final preparations, along with the Army, Hungar Shatterstone and Seleth Byllian beckon them to meet face to face.
Captain Shatterstone addresses them first. He stares at them with a slight bit of disbelief...
"So, these are the famous Knights of the Hanging Chicken, ey? Look, I dunno who the Jarl thinks you are, but whatever ya' do, stay out me way...I've led these brave soldiers to Hell and back, from the Canyon of Izril to the Floating Isles of the Primordial Forest. Don't make us regret taking ya'..."
And he rides back to his troups on his Battle Ram. As he gets to his men, he scowls one of them in the distance, a scruffy blond Mountain Dwarf. "Damn ya' Rollo, I told ya' to get new boots, ya' bum! Come on now, Lads. TO PINEKEEP WE RIDE!"
Seleth Belian approaches them next...the High Elf Commander and his Half-Orc Lieutenant actually dismount their Giant Eagles, and greet the PCs much more respectfully.
"We apologize for Captain Shatterstone, but he has been a bit on edge, lately. We welcome your alliance, and partnership. We know what all of you have been through. Your findings confirm everything agent Zathkataliendim Felaminathien had been uncovering...the FeyWild, the Shadowveil, the Abyss and the Nine Hells are slowly opening more and more portals and junctions on the Material Plane...it is troubling news. The wizard Thanicles probably knows a LOT more about this than we all do, but unfortunately he was arrested by an interplanar law enforcement agency recently...also troubling news....Anyway, should any of you decidde to ride with us, we would be honored to teach any of you the Way of the Eagle Riders."
OOC :At this point, Team1 and Team2 should probably split up once again, for playability purposes. Each Team should decide/vote between different possible objectives to accomplish throughout this small military campaign to reclaim Pinekeep and its surroundings. Here are a few suggestions, but feel free to come up with your own if you dont like any of these. As Bob Ross once said, this is your World, you can do anything....
1) Stick with the Dwarves
2) Ride with the Air Force and Eagles
3) Set out on your own ahead of the Dwarves "Commando style" to scout out Ennemy activity.
4) Pursue an Alliance with an Organization and attempt to gather more troups (such as the Arcane University, the Alliance or the Family), or a Neighboring Foreign Nation (such as the Human Kingdom of Mastandia, the Westwood Elvish Courts, the Southern Halfling Republic
5) Something completely different...
Peshley looked around for the rest of her group and gathered them together. "So what do we do? I like the numbers of the army, but I think we might get lost in there. Seleth Byllian, from the Eagle Riders, said they had spotted gnolls on the road leading to Pinekeep causing some problems. I think we should ride ahead and help clear the way for the army. We will move faster than they can, and if anything turns out to bigger than we can deal with, we retreat and wait for them to arrive. At least we will have information they can use."
"I think we should scout ahead, possibly with one of the eagle riders joining us from above. Otherwise it is as you say, Peshley. We can handle small bands of gnolls, and if we stumble into something larger, we have the army not far behind us," said Saerirra adding her thoughts on the conversation.
((Dman014029, I restated your comments so you didn't have to copy them over to here as well - my stuff up reopening the wrong thread))
"Are you serious?" Laievis forced himself to switch his attention form the eagles to Peshley. "Clear the way for the army?! With 5 of us?! What for? It's like picking up the dust from the road before the elephant - a pointless endeavour that can get us killed but will be of no help to anyone."
He looked at the Captain Shatterstone: "Granted, the army does not want our help in any shape or form, but the Air Force Commander was kind enough to suggest something productive - learn to fly an eagle. That way we can at least truly scout the road ahead for a meaningful distance and be of any use here. I am for learning new skill."
"Maybe we don't all have to do the same thing. Laievis, you could attempt to learn about riding those eagle. As pretty animals as they are, that is not my preferred method of flight. And it is not as if we are going to act as the frontline. We would merely be scouts, informing the army of potential dangers ahead. The enemy has taken the entire city, so surely they are not going to give it up easily, not without some traps along the way. Peshley, depending on how fast Pony is, and how powerful her magics, you could be a scout by yourselves possibly. Myself and/or Uther could ride alongside you with Taranonn, or I could ride with the army, providing aid and entertainment to boost morale. I am curious about Uther and Cade's thoughts on this matter."
"True, if we do not have a one task or goal as a team - and so far no one gave us any - there is no need to stay as one unit. I will take the Commander at his word and ask for a riding training." Laievis rode Blizzard to the Air Force for the promised teachings of the Way of the Eagle Riders.
Elethy smiles back at Saerrira. "Well, you and Uther definitely seemed like you were enjoying each other's company. "You know, I think Uther is quite the catch...for a half Orc..."
After a while Uther quetly when back to his bedroll and slept for the night.
Saerirra smiles, places a hand on her chest and breathes a sigh of relief.
