I am looking for 2-4 players to join my homebrew campaign to replace players who had to leave. For detail on the world see original recruitment thread https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/play-by-post/38705-karamore-open-map. Current characters are a Goliath Paladin and an Elf Ranger. Currently level 3 but will be level 4 when you join. You will meet the party in Riverbend (on the main road from Mythshore to Highwater, the capital. See map in spoiler) on the way to Highwater, so you need a reason to be in Riverbend (an average-large sized town) and a reason to want to head to the capital (payment is involved as it is a guarding a trade caravan job, but if you have another reason to head there include it, even if it is in a PM so the other party members don't know)
Similar to the original recruitment:
No Ravnica, Eberron or Underdark races (Unless you justify it in the backstory, though there is no Underdark in this world).
Artificer and Crit role is allowed
Start at level 4 (Make sure your backstory is justifiable for a level 4, you haven't just lived in a village doing mundane tasks your whole life)
Milestone levelling
No evil alignments

I'm thinking about an Aasimar Cleric of Life, I'm still working on the character sheet.
Do you have any info about Gods in your world?
Name: Ondrea
Race/Class: Aasimar Cleric 3/Fighter 1
Ability scores: above
Short description/personality: Ondrea is very devoted to the notion of helping others and protecting the church. She can be too trusting, especially if those of her faith, but is accepting of those of other faiths. She likes to support others in combat while also smiting enemies herself.
Backstory: Ondrea started out as a temple guard at the temple of Lathander but became enamored of the faith and quickly became an acolyte and then a cleric herself. She is in Riverbend because she is on her way to Highwater herself to see the Temple there for the first time.
Race/Class (Subclass): Human (Variant)/Blood Hunter Order of the Lycan
Short description/personality: Aiden is a small male human, standing around 5'6" with a mop of matted dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. He is exceptionally skinny and gaunt; the shapes of his cheek bones and ribs are clearly visible through his skin. In general he doesn't quite understand how best to interact with other people so he tends to keep to himself.
Backstory: Aiden grew up without a father. His mother didn't know his father very well, and if she had known his secret Aiden certainly would not exist. If you ask her, both he and Aiden are cursed. Ashamed of what her son turned out to be, she kept Aiden locked in her basement throughout his childhood. Aiden grew up in captivity, unable to move around enough to strengthen his muscles and without any other people to interact with. One day during his early teen years, Aiden was rescued from his mother by a group of people like him who had learned to control and harness their curse. He has no idea how they found him, but they took him in and started him on the path toward controlling his own lycanthropic curse. Now he has had years of training with them and they have started sending him out on missions by himself to hunt and kill various beasts. (Sending Aiden's current status in a PM)
I'll play a Cleric-Life,Rogue-Thief,Sorcerer-Draconic,or a Wizard-Evocation whatever your campaign needs if your willing to let a newbie learn as they go.
i originally deleted my post because i realized i had maxed out my characters... but then i got a subscription so here we go.
Ability scores: 161317121516
Name: Rafsariph
Race: Half-elf (drow variant)
Class: Fighter 1 / Warlock 3 (hexblade)
Personality: friendly, and curious.
Backstory: (I know you said underdark but...) Rafsariph is a Fallfsr traveler with a mystery background. She knows her father a human but doesn’t know her mother. It took some time to find her father but he never said much about Raf’s mother.
Raf leads a simple adventurer life. She does jobs for those who can pay. She saves people that need it. But she knows that the only way to find out about her past is to travel the earth and learn more from wherever she goes.
Keep me a spot, I will edit this post as soon as I'm done creating the character.
Name: Lola Race/Class (Subclass): Elf Eladrin / Rogue Thief Short description/personality: I'm all flesh and blood, but you may find me to be as cold as a construct. My neutral tone and my disconcerting caImness could make you believe that I even lack emotions or empathy. Know that I haven't been raised. I have been trained, programed to be the best. While my size and dexterity makes hiding easy, my natural beauty as well as my training allows me to make people feel the desire to help me. Plans aren't really my strong suit. I usually follow my guts. Backstory: I am on the material plane to promote the growth of its inhabitants. I'm like a zookeeper walking along what may one day evolve into something as great as us. Why I do things and why I go places will most likely remain a mystery for you, as it is often for me. Link to character sheet: https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/NightlyTerror/characters/15251547
People can use rolls from the last thread if they applied there. Gods in this world are the standard Faerun pantheons as I made this world when I didn't have that much free time on my hands.
A little kobold of black scales, adorned in grey rags and scrapped studded leather. He has bright yellow eyes and two symmetrical scar on his cheeks. A small crossbow is always in his hand, ready to be fired. Say one thing about Wendy, say that he survives. Wendy is always cautious, to the point of paranoia at times. He is a sarcastic guy, but with his own sense of friendliness. He hates betrayals and has learned to pick creatures that he trusts the hard way.
Wendy was originally a simple kobold, a servant of an adult white dragon. He carried out simple tasks for her and lived with other kobolds. But his ambition was more than that. Being a kobold did not suffice him, he wanted more independence, more power, more... freedom. This was the exact the reason for him being expelled from the tribe when other kobolds decided to betray him. It wasn’t all that simple though, the dragon did not let him go without a little present. It left Wendy with 2 little scars on his cheeks. The beast was certain that a fragile kobold would not survive in the wild and would die away in any case, so why waste time on him. And so Wendy ran. He hid, he killed, he survived most of all. He even took the risk of stealing from some sleeping adventurers, and that is how he got his beloved crossbow. Now, Wendy is more experienced, he learned the hard way. Now, Wendy knows where and when to shoot, and when to run and hide. Now, his ambition and desire will come into play, as he makes his way to the capital, to make world consider his existence. Say one thing about Wendy, say that he survives.
Ill make the character if you accept me, since I dont own any books in DDB. If you dont have content sharing, I’ll just homebrew it.
I am down, sfeldman2489 (Angorn) recommended me to apply/play. I will play my Mountain Dwarf Wizard, unless he gets in the other PBP I have applied then I will either take my Half-Elf Druid or Tiefling Wizard.
Stats are not updated to this roll or lvl 4, i will updated when I can.

Raised in a Dwarven city that was overtaken by a white dragon that was eventually overthrown. Igby's people were isolated and did not interact with many outsiders. They held the dead in reserve and the bones of the Ancient White Dragon that once held their home hostage are among their most sacred treasures. Igby has dealt with many in the underdark but few from above. Igby was attracted to the bones and the idea of using them for more than decorations or trophies. While many from the outside will consider him with extreme caution and weary, Igby knows that the magic of a Necromancer is no more inherently evil than any other school of magic. Igby knew he needed to learn more and left his city to explore the world and learn all of the Necromancy Magic he could find.
