Gunnar pulls a little battery from his belt and walks over to Gullinbursti. As he does, a battery forcibly ejects from the side of Gullinbursti’s charred chassis. Gunnar clenches his hand around the new core for about a minute before locking the new core into the boar. Energy seems to spark and crackle through the machine as Gullinbursti completely restores itself.
“Welcome back to the land of the operating, big guy.” Gunnar sighs and turns to the group, “So, that took about a third of my magic for the day. If you need me to cast something, please don’t.”
Gunnar used a 1st level spell slot and his tinker tools to full heal Gullinbursti.
The Cycle reaches for some spores in their pag and drizzles it over the corpse of the beast. "The Cycle healed him. The human will stand if he gets up on its feet."

Tovar growls incomprehensibly for a good minute or more, gradually exploring the extremely sore and tender areas where the acid nearly liquefied him.
"I was much fearing this." He announces at last, looking at his armor, which has acquired an unusual polish, given that every speck of dissolvable material has been removed from large sections of his chain mail. He coughs mightily, and looks around the room.
"Forgive if I rest for a moment more." He sighs, breathing deeply. The color in his ruddy cheeks, which had paled at the Cycle's magical touch, returns to a healthy glow. (Second wind: 13) He looks at his shield while getting to his feet, and sniffs. "Will have to find better, some day. Are there more bugs to crush?"
Tovars armor is in fact pretty beaten up, not enough to ruin it's efficiency to the point of it being devastating. Appearance wise, however.. Let's just say that Tovar is showing skin in unusual places.
Ruby averts her eyes as Tovar 'sorts himself out'. The pace of her breathing slows as the clicking sounds fade away. "Did we win? Should we keep going?", she asks, clearly hoping this ordeal is nearly at an end.
Tovar laughs as he clads himself as best he can. "Feeling better now. I think, we are almost finished, yes? Still, certainty is being... akh, payment? yes - this one." Standing and much refreshed, Tovar begins to search around the room, looking for other bugs to chop or perhaps some loose pocket change from the miners who never returned to the surface.
Tovar takes some time and rifles throught he pockets of the half-eaten corpse of a dwarf in the southern end of the room, a small bag filled with finding 5 in gold and 23 silver. In addition to a single Potion of Healing (regular) that the poor miner never had the chance to use before their untimely death. The dwarf also has a dagger in his belt and a small badge with the same stag symbol of the Uvonian royal family that Mrs Stringent has hanging in her office.
The other eggs in the room look underdeveloped and you could probably destroy them and the embryos within with a series of coordinated attacks without any of you risking taking damage from the semi-grown larvae within.
Last but not least is the large pile of mining equipment, pickaxes, daggers, clubs and other non-edible things in the north end of the room. You could take the time to search through it for any valuables, but it would require a perception or investigation check from one of you.

Gunnar is not a perceptive man. He’s going to just cut the head off of the hive lord to bring back as proof. He will also keep a fair distance from any acid.

With the help of Gunnar, Ravi manages to find. Salvageable weaponry and tools: 4 daggers, 5 clubs, a warhammer, a warpick and a full set of masons tools. There is also a strange greatclub; a large rock with runes looks like it's been forced into a huge gnarled treeroot with a crudely carved grip. The root itself has next to no runes except for just around the rock. Valuables: 20 gold, 69 silver, 70 copper and a silver chain with a small crystal among the bent pieces of iron and steel from broken equipment and tools.
Gullinbursti goes around, bashing through eggs and putting the poor larvae on the inside out of their misery.

Since Gunnar speaks Giant: The runes around the rock is in giant and says things like "lock", "hold", "unity" and "keep" while the runes on the rock itself say "defeat". "small" and "grow".
As far as Ravi knows the necklace is a fine piece of craftsmanship and is worth at least 25 gold.

Gunnar tilts his head, “Well that’s interesting. These are a more archaic version than the dialect that I am accustomed to, so I’m having trouble deciphering it’s purpose. Obviously it’s a weapon, but these are an odd combination of runes.”

The items of value disappear into Tovar's disproportionately spacious sack with a satisfying clink. Returning to the party, Tovar leans against a wall and looks at the runes. "A weapon? This is, perhaps, something older than the miners here were? Yes?"
Ruby does indeed notice that the ceiling in the cave you are currently in is far too small for anything giant sized, but the large carved halls you came from originally would most definitely fit a giant comfortably, at least height wise.
