Although pretty beat up and exhausted, Shae lets you all know that you've only managed to cover approximately 5 miles since the morning. Do you want to carry on walking, or call it a day and camp? If you carry on walking, I need to know the group's marching order, and who is trying to navigate their way through the jungle, by what means.

After the whole ordeal, tending to the wounded, including herself, inspecting local flora and sketching a separate page of the map, Shae had sprawled herself out, maybe a little dramatically, to take her rest. It's been a long morning and early afternoon.
Hit dice roll: 5
Shae would sit up abruptly hearing Maxine calling for her help for her new antics, "Uhh do we think that's wise at this-" And it's obviously too late...She'd grab her dagger in one hand and a med kit in the other. This is all I can do. I'm spent, a short rest doesn't recoup what little magic I share...Shae, she's sick. She can't be of sound mind. "And there's nothing I can do right now." She'd ready herself.
"Are we ready to move on?" asks the professor. "We should try and put a few more hours between us and the habitat of those monkeys, in case there are more of them," he adds.
Professor Snively gets out his map and attempts to discern the best way to continue along their chosen path.

Thessalandra just nods meekly, glad that someone else seems to be making the decisions for now. Her crew fall in line, and Bertrand and Cliff, despite their respective injuries, are ready to move on on the Professor’s word. They all look at Faekin, Maxine, and Zip in turn. Berrus is still standing at the ready, prepared to deal with anything that might try and make it through the forest to attack them.

Shae would follow along with the Professor, “If it’s yet to be mentioned Professor, with the help of your gazetteer Zip and I were able to conclude that those cask-shaped fungus are Barrelstock mushrooms.” She’d point any out along the way, “They can be tapped and drained of the fresh water stored within it and it has an edible stem.” She’d also make sure to point them out to the others so they can be familiar with them. “Is there anything in your Gazetteer that may resemble these palm leaves?” She’d point some out. Shae was toying with the idea that these could possibly double as slings or bandages, or even ‘shingles’ for shelter.
Shae would fall back down the line every once and a while to check on the status of the others. For some it was easier with their physical wounds, the others suffering from mental anguish are who concern her the most. Not to mention Maxine may have infected herself. She would keep an eye out for any change in Maxine’s wounds or demeanour.
After her round she’d catch back up with the Professor to help with any navigation. Shae would continue to actively scan their path of travel for any change in plant life or any new species of flora and herb that may resemble anything that can help replenish their med kits.
Seeming to have gotten turned around while resting, the professor can’t quite figure out which way is north at the moment (poor Survival roll). At Shae’s recommendation on the barrel stock mushrooms, he brightens and says, “Let’s drink up the water and save the stems for food before we leave.”
He also checks the Gazetteer while the mushrooms are being harvested for the palm leaves Shae asked about, sharing whatever he finds. As an aside, he asks Shae, “Uh, could you help me find a good path to the north by northwest...I, uh, seem to have lost my place.” Even more quietly, he adds, “Is there something wrong with Maxine? Has she succumbed to some kind of jungle fever?”

Completely exhausted Maxine was slowly following Shae around, lost in analysis of her organism reaction. Small cuts - mere scratches - should not have provoke anything, were not enough to spread even snake poison around the body - but may be she had to think her experiment through a bit better.
Some time after the battle Faekin headache from whatever the monkey tried to do to him starts to wear off and he starts to feel better.
Hit die: 10
After the mushrooms have been found Faekin offers "Well when we set up Camp for tonight I could probably perpare us a nice stew out of those mushrooms and some meat from the monkeys. I am not professional chef but my parents had an Inn and helped out alot in the Kitchen and I love cooking. Ohhh maybe there some herbs around to brighten up the flavour!!"
Faekin looks around if he finds some herbs or other useful plants too. There must be some herbs that he knows that grow also here on Chult.
Probably a Nature roll? 7
When they will continou Faekin will get on the floating disk and will prepare and wash the meat Shae harvesteted since, well she did not seem to be to crafty skinning and gutting the animals.
"Shae?" Maxine got another great idea but did not trust herself anymore and wanted to be sure, she got it right this time. "Listen, I think I can still spell correctly that one line that helps wounds to close. Very basic one, you know. And in this spell there are lines forbidding it affect undeads. If ... I truly screwed up the test and transforming into zombie - it should not work, right? So, if I cast it on myself - you will know right away if I am still..." she did not finish, the though was not pleasant the least.
If Shae thinks it's a good idea - and only then, because Maxine gave up on her abilities to think for today - Cure Wounds on herself.
While Faekin is prepping the meat of the monkeylike creatures, he notices that their flesh is riddled with black veins.
Shae, the Professor, and Faekin all scan the local flora, but they struggle to find anything that looks familiar enough to be confident in their identifications. Faekin does however still collect several bushels of different fragrant herbs, leaves, and flowers. Though he isn’t sure whether they’re edible yet, he intends to test them to see whether they could be used at least for cooking.
Under Shae’s reluctant direction, the group is trudging on through the jungle, impeded by the dense vegetation and the steep terrain as they cross several hills and cliffs.
Shae, please roll a survival check with advantage to help orient yourself in the terrain and get a point of reference which you can identify and head towards. We definitely have some cooking equipment you can use. Definitely let me know if you want any help!
