Krub leads the party off to the side of the road into the brush. At first glance, his wandering seems random, but as you move, you slowly begin to see the trail he is following. After about 10 minutes, he stops and motions for you all to stop. He points to a rope that disappears into the ground, covered by a large pile of leaves. He moves carefully around the rope, motioning for you all to do the same.
He continues down the path for another 10 minutes and then signals another stop. "Watch feet," he says in a loud whisper. "Pit here." He again carefully steps around the trap and continues on. After another 15 minutes, he comes to a stop. "Cave up ahead," he says, pointing at a small stream. "May be guards. More arrows."
Looking around, you see a small stream that leads into the mouth of a cave. The entrance is about 5 feet wide, with a shallow lip on the right side that isn't covered by the stream. Off to the right of the stream is a large scattering of brush and bushes, where Krub indicated guards might be.
Torwen - you can't see any guard from your current position, but you do hear what sounds like goblin voices - it's hard to hear over the babbling of the stream. The place that Krub indicated is roughly 30 feet away, through some dense thickets.
Torwen will ready a javelin and wait to see what the other party members want to do. I don't think I need to clunk around in chain mail if one of the more dex characters want to try something
(Whispering) "I'm not sneaky, but I am well armored and I have a shield. I'll lead the way if you guys want. Maybe one of us could create a distraction while the rest of us sneak in."
whispering-" well I too have good armor & shield....if the party wants Kierro and I to charge I am willing to do that and maybe Victor and Faywin can support with spells and avoid damage."
"Kierro you were wounded in the last fight." Torwen will place his hand on Kierro's shoulder and heal him for 4 HP
Torwen javelin in hand will look at Kierro and grin saying:" Say when"
“Thank you, Torwen.” He closes his eyes and looks toward the sun, his body pulses once with light. “Now!” Kierro says as he emerges from the bushes, shield at the ready as he moves toward the bushes. (Dodge action)
As Torwen and Kierro move towards the thicket, Krub hunches down, cowering. The clanking of their armor is noticeable in the quiet and suddenly two goblin heads pop up, eyes widening. Torwen chucks his javelin at one, but the small goblin dodges easily, coming back up to fire an arrow at Torwen.
Attack: 14 Damage: 4
The other goblin, seeing Kierro, also fires an arrow:
Attack: 10 Damage: 5
Both arrows miss their marks, thudding harmlessly into the dirt. The goblins immediately begin to back up and begin shouting.
((Note: The thicket is difficult terrain, so your movement will be halved through it. It is 10 ft wide. A 30ft movement will put you within 5 ft, even with the difficult terrain.))
Victor will keep an eye on the surroundings and our tied up friend to see if he does anything. If I see any of thr goblins run for the cave entrance or if I see a goblin come out of the cave, I will attempt to shoot them with an Eldritch Blast.
Faywin reaches out with his magic and manages to ensnare one of the goblins. It howls in pain at the piercing of the thorns and drops its bow. It struggles to reach for its sword, still sheathed in its belt.
The second goblin releases his bow with a twang, aiming for Faywin.

The arrow narrowly misses, thudding into the trunk of a tree next to Faywin.

Torwen will draw his battle ax after he throws the javelin. with 25' of movement he wont be able to reach in the first charge.
Faywin will move 30 ft behind the advancing party. Watching for foes from the cave entrance or other than where the noises are coming.
