"Aye. The Tree Ghosts said they were attacked by three Blue Bears. Either the attack happened before they arrived here or the burial party were not the attackers. With Therrak slain they are only two now." After they finish digging Urijeon begins to look for signs of anyone leaving the area that the party could follow.

You study the handaxe, taking note of every detail of its craftsmanship, and have no doubt it gives its wielder an edge in battle (handaxe +1)
Urijeon studies the ground near the unfinished cairn and the area around the burial mound itself but finds nothing. If any creature has passed through this area, it did so too long ago to leave any evidence behind.
Minor note: Rather than using the +3 to your roll of 18, I used +6 because the Survival is a better fit in this scenario.

Mateja is silent for a long time, then finally permits herself to speak through gritted teeth. "The Tree Ghost performed sacrilege by fighting on our holy ground. Does this call for war? We must also bury Therrak here, give him the honor for defending Stone Stand with his life."
She then makes her way around the damaged cairns, looking for signs if perhaps it were the Ghost Tree that have been performing further sacrilege by raiding the holy grounds.

Avelin prepares a second burial site for Therrak. The shadow of the lone oak tree looms across so many mounds of past honored dead of this tribe. It is fitting to honor Therrak with burial in such hallowed ground, and Avelin carefully stacks the cairn stones atop the fresh mounds of Arnek Mar and Therrak, humming traditional prayers for the safe passage of the spirit to reach the Beyond and, if Uthgar wills, for the Rebirth of the soul as a mighty beast of the wilderness.
But Avelin is quick to be thoughtful of Mateja's remarks. Perhaps he had given the Tree Ghosts too much credit to assume a sacrilege wouldn't outright occur. But, what else BUT sacrilege would one call attacking a burial party at a sacred site? He gives a careful eye around the Stone Stand with Mateja
