So after Ziradius' dagger skewers and kills the scimitar-wielding goblin on the right, Garr finishes off the one closest to it and Darrell slashes and injures the one on the path to his left. All that remains is that one and the other goblin hiding in the bushes to the left of the trail.

Auspex looks up from the back of the cart and Cayce hoots toward the goblin in the bushes, "Thank you, Cayce, I see him." Auspex holds out his crystal orb and looses a fire bolt at the goblin. Attack: 10 Damage: 10
Auspex, guided by his trusty owl, sends forth a bolt of fire which directly impacts the goblins face and it runs out of the bushes screaming, its hair on fire. Eventually it dies and as the other goblin turns to look Karleck takes the opportunity and clubs him with his warhammer across the temple, caving in it's skull and it perishes before he knew what hit him.

The trail now falls silent, the winds coming to a halt. Four goblin corpses are littered across the trail, joining the two horses there in death.

Auspex hops down out of the cart and approaches the dead horses. "What have we got here, Cayce? Looks like nothing good."
Auspex takes in the scene, trying to figure out what happened: who killed the horses, who the riders might have been and if they were killed too, anything else he can figure out. Investigation, 7
"I'm telling you Cayce, things just don't look right up here."
Garr drags the goblins that are on the trail off to the side and hides them in the bushes, then looks around for any tracks or indication of where they could have come from
Upon inspecting the horses you discern that these horses must have belonged to Sildar Hallwinter and Gundren Rockseeker as you had seen them depart on these same horses when they left Neverwinter. There are two saddlebags and what looks to be a map case, but all of them are empty. You notice that the arrows sticking out of them are the same ones that were shot at Karleck and Darrell-- black feathered arrows. Unfortunately theres nothing more you can gleam from it.
Garr, you are able to easily pull the goblins off the trail and as you do so you notice the footfalls of about a dozen or so creatures that you can discern to be goblin footprints. It looks like they continually monitor/ambush this part of the Triboar trail, and their tracks lead east into the forest. eyeballing it, you can see that they must continue for quite some time away.
"These are the same horses Gundren and Sildar rode out of Neverwinter." Auspex tells the group. "No idea how long they've been dead, but I fear for our employer. Lets hurry."
"I can lead us along this trail of goblin footprints" Garr says as he points out the trail to Ziradius. "We should hide the cart while we track them. Should we go now or rest up for a bit? I think Darrell got cut earlier." Garr eyes the vicinity carefully, crossbow still drawn.
With Darrell driving the wagon and Ziradius guiding, you're both able to hide the wagon in the brushes with no issue (no check required). There's no one in the immediate vicinity, or any more goblins from what Garr can see.
As you guys move along the trail please let me know your marching order, and who (if any) is staying back with Darrell for a short rest.
I’ll be in first or second position, to keep an eye on the tracks if that’s okay.
“We’ll come back after finding wherever these goblins came from.”
Garr waits for everyone to be ready before heading along the trail, keeping an eye on the tracks and the immediate areas for any more goblins or just anything out of the ordinary.

Karleck will walk with Darrell, just in front of him if there’s not room for shoulder to shoulder, “Speak up if you need help.” Whoever ends up in front, Karleck will clap them on the shoulder as they start, “Walk with the goddess,” invoking Vigilant Blessing (advantage on next initiative check). During the journey, he will keep an eye on the flanks and rear to watch for any ambush.

(Ziradius please roll sneak attack damage for your first attack -- it might have been enough to kill the goblin outright)

It is now Auspex's turn

"There's some sort of trail back here" Garr says to the others.
After picking up his thrown dagger, Ziradius will walk over to where Garr is to see the trail he's talking about.
"Insert wise quote here" I hope you learned a lot from that.

Darrell taps Karleck on the shoulder “Take the lead, I took a hit. I’ll drop back for a bit.”

Ziradius works on hiding the cart, like Garr said, so that no one will steal it.
