The main passage from the cave mouth climbs steeply upward, the stream plunging and splashing down its west side. In the shadows, a side passage leads west across the other side of the stream. From here on out, moving forward, anyone without darkvision will not be able to see.
For those with darkvision: In the shadows of the ceiling to the north, you can just make out the dim shape of a rickety bridge of wood and rope crossing over the passage ahead of you. Another passage intersects this one, twenty feet above the floor. To the left of the bridge up above there is a goblin that seems to not be paying attention. It looks like it is hiding, albeit poorly but somehow (especially with those rolls) the goblin does not see you guys.
Garr squints and tries to look forward, but can't see anything still. "Why have we stopped? Is there something ahead?" garr will ready a torch from his pack but wait until he has the all clear.
Darrell puts a hand on Garr’s shoulder. “Hold up, Garr. Goblin ahead. He hasn’t noticed us. Let’s sneak around to the left, and up. Maybe we can get the jump on him and take him nice and quietly.”
”Sorry, my eyes are still adjusting.” Garr aims his crossbow at the goblin and will hold his attack for if the party decides to attack. “Do we go around it or take it out? I’m prepared for either.”
(A lot of us, myself included, were occupied last week and this weekend with the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US. I posted something about being unavailable in all my other campaigns, but somehow missed this one. If everyone else is in the same boat I'd love to keep going...)
[Just placing my message here that I sent to Ismenow]
Sorry thats just how it goes. I gave extra time for thanksgiving and I thought that was why people weren't posting, but I saw everyone except Hydra (who messaged me on discord about the stagnation) and Burl (who gave warning) posting on other threads so I knew everyone was up. In my other campaign everyone posts at least once a day, and we just recently lost someone who hadn't posted for 3 days and he returned a few hours ago to apologize and wish us luck after we had to replace him. I can't push the story forward myself, the goblin didn't notice the party and its just a regular day for them.
I apologize but I'd rather focus on other campaigns irl/on DDB than continue to DM for this one. Maybe you can find another DM that will be willing to pick up the campaign.
I understand if you guys who were willing to play are upset, and I apologize again.
Karleck will nod, “They’re good where they’re at for now. Do we hope the noise covers our approach or try and rush them?”
We push forwards then

(How far away are the goblins?)
(It's just one, and its about 15ft up and then 20ft away)

(Garr, you have darkvision for 10 minutes, post 108)
Karleck will nod to Darrell and move a little off to let them past.
(Oh yes I forgot, my bad)

Alright, I'm calling time of death on this campaign.

I've been DMing a pbp on discord for almost a year now, slow downs happen. But I guess this one's dead. Good luck everyone.
im new to pbp and in Australia so maybe I got the times wrong but I thought the campaign was over too when people stopped responding
I just didn’t want to lead the way with 4 hp
