Metal wolves turn

The wolves keep trying to get a good grip on their quarries.

Neither are able get their jaws down on their targets.

Alden, seeing a slash will not do, will thrust with his rapier and dagger.

 Taking out a second blade, Alden tries to strike at the construct again, but neither connects solidly.

 Lia and Gulgus can post their turns

Gulgus

Gulgus once again whirls the Thorn Whip over his head and lashes at the wolf-like construct blocking his way to the substructure door.

Attack: 6

Damage: 6

DC10 Fail Save: 19

Lia shoots at the armored thing with her crossbow...
Attack: 8 Damage: 3

Lia switches it up from magic and resorts to a more mundane solution. However, she was unable to level her aim before firing. The bolt skips off of the floor and and clatters somewhere behind one of the larger constructs (miss).

Trying to get control of the situation, Gulgus attempts to stike at the robotic wolf with all of his strength, but over-swings. However, was able to regain his balance (miss).

Armor's turn is next.

Armor's turn

The armor, deciding to divide its attention to both targets, fires at Lia and swings its sword at Alden.

Hand bolt vs Lia Attack: 20 Damage: 6

Longsword vs Alden: Attack: 17 Damage: 6

It  continues to have trouble getting a bead on Lia and Alden is able to dodge a rather clumsy swing (both miss).

(RNG is acting weird today...)

Oswin can post his turn.

Oswin continues to try to put down this metal dog, wondering why SD doesn't seem to be capable of hurting it.

Oswin Attack: 23 Damage: 6

SD Attack: 15 Damage: 7

 Oswin's spear pierces the iron creature shallowly, but his creation has a hard time pinning it down (6 piercing damage from Oswin and SD misses).

Metal wolves are next.

Again, they try biting at the intruders, only this time, the one by Oswin turns to the steel beast flanking it.

Bite vs Gulgus Attack: 18 Damage: 7

Bite vs SD Attack: 7 Damage: 8

Gulgin is far too slow to avoid the jaws and feels a crushing force on his leg as well as some piercing into his flesh (6 piercing damage).

Oswin's SD also didn't seem to expect an attack as the iron beast finds a gap in it plating (9 piercing damage).

Alden can take his turn.

Alden

Alden strikes at the metal golem again.

Dagger Thrust: 14
Dagger Damage: 4

Alden is able to deftly thread his rapier between its plates, causing a bit of vibration from within (5 piercing damage, already halved from resistance to non-magical physical damage).

As he winces from the pain of his latest bite and frustrated at his ineffectiveness, Gulgus grumbles "Slag ye metallic monstrosity!" He pulls out his Tan Bag of Tricks and reaches inside pulling out a fuzzy object.  He throws it to the opposite side of his metal adversary (at G20) where it lands and transforms into a...

 ...Giant Hyena!

Lia casts bless on herself and any two of her companions that are around her.

Switching up strategies, Lia decides it's time to take a more supportive role in the fight and casts some holy light that emanates. The effect only reaches Alden.

Seeing how much help Oswin's getting from his metal friend, Gulgus decides to follow suit with a more Organic variety and summons a large hyena to aid in the fight.

Armor is next.

Armor's turn

Detecting some activity in the substructure behind Alden, the rather sturdy suit of armor  turns its arm to the new arrival and swings its sword at Alden.

Hand bolt vs Giant Hyena Attack: 8 Damage: 3

Longsword vs Alden Attack: 7 Damage: 10

They hyena yips as a bolt hit it in the flank (4 piercing damage) and Alden is caught off guard by a swift swing (7 slashing damage)

Oswin can take his turn.

Oswin attacks again, ordering SD to repair itself.
