This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Percy nods approvingly at Graxxy. "I think you have handled this well. We have enough blood on our hands. Especially if this is a misunderstanding. You all should escort him back to town. I think I have some work to do here on Gotrek, so I will have to gather what I can, Fix him, and meet you back in town I'm afraid. The field test was a bit rougher than anticipated."
Percy nods to Gorlok, "Good luck on the way back, both of you. I'll try to brief anyone that seems sane that shows up here. The hunt is over. I apologize that your axe will not function soon Gorlok, but I need my bag of holding back."
Percy will walk out of the tent, take a quick look around camp for loot or blacksmith tools.

He will then gather what he can and if he did not find blacksmith tools he will begin using his tinker tools to make blacksmith tools in order to fix Gotrek with his last spell slot.
"I have no quarrel with Murzush but I am no commander. The others heading this way may not be so merciful. She and we must go now. You are honorable and therefore will not be bound. Say your goodbyes. I hope you are able to meet again."
With her allies now preparing to leave, Ulala’s eyes turn sharp. She gazes at Grush intently and establishes a telepathic link with him (Mind Link Response).
“Lavender’s Blight. A disease not of this land, only obtainable by an encounter with the Underdark… What led you to this misfortune, half-breed?”
"I think I left something while searching the camp and repairing Gotrek. One moment."
Percy has second thoughts and retrieves the blacksmith's tools and stows them into a bag before returning to the group.
Percy will also attempt to gather cloth to cover the heads in cloth as much as possible so that they are not visible, exposed to the elements, or leaving a trail on the way back.
(After gathering his arrows Loramir joins The others in the tent to listen quietly after some time he comments) Well now it seems we have become involved in a messy matter of politics. I do not like being told half-truths and outright falsehoods. This Baron has another thing coming if he thinks he can get away with tricking us into slaughtering innocents
Percy is able to find clothing throughout the tents. This should suffice for that purpose.
Ulala links her mind with Grush and asks her questions. Grush looks confused and talks back through the link saying "I do not venture into the underdark...There is a cave to the north that we use to sacrifice to the God of the forest. It goes much deeper than I have ever been, but maybe that leads to the underdark. What would cause this disease?"
Murzush hands Graxxy the bone spear and snarls a bit as she leaves the tent. She then heads north..
After Murzush leaves the tent, Grush moves over and picks the bone spear off the ground and holds it in his hands. He begins to tell you about the properties of the spear and the story behind Sozos's Skeletal Spike (https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/1261552-sozoss-skeletal-spike).This spear is the separated tail of the demon Sozos. Sozos still searches for his tail, in attempt to reattach it to his body and make himself whole again however, the tail has been separated for so long that the flesh has decayed away and only the hardened bones remain.
The ingame properties are listed below:
By default this weapon functions as a +1 magic weapon. However, the tail desires to be rejoined with its body and the mere mention of the name "Sozos" will cause the tip of the tail to ignite in infernal hellfire causing anyone who is touching the tip of the spear takes 1d8 fire damage from the intense heat. This hellfire is an attempt to let Sozos know the location of the tail, and on ignition, the tail rolls a 1d100 in order to determine if Sozos is informed. If the tail rolls a 1 then the communication is successful, however if not, the tail will try to improve its call and on it's next attempt will roll a 1d(previous result) on its next attempt. This resets every 24 hours on sunrise, when the tail finally sleeps briefly and forgets the previous day.
DM Notes: Due to the simple incantation, this is considered a free action and can be used multiple times per round but only once per attack. Example use: Round 1 Player attack with special: +1 spear damage + 1d8 fire damage : tail rolls 1d100 -> result is a 56 Player uses reaction attack with special: +1 spear damage +1d8 fire damage : tail rolls 1d56 -> result is a 23 Round 2 Player uses attack no special: +1 spear damage Player uses reaction attack with special: +1 spear damage + 1d8 fire damage: tail rolls 1d23 -> result is 5
Next day player uses spear (count resets): Round 1 Player attack with special: +1 spear damage + 1d8 fire damage : tail rolls 1d100 -> result is a 77
Proficiency with a spear allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
A smile slowly grows over the half-orc's face as he begins to tell Gorlok "Many years ago, before the battles with the human kingdom, we had a territorial dispute with the witches that live in the Forbidden Bog to the west of this forest. The vial witches worship demons from the hell plane and practice dark pyromancy magic. One night, we raided one of the witches' bog altars during a ritual of theirs. We slowly spread around their ritual circle and ambushed them! Catching them off guard and killing them all. This was in the center of their circle, they seemed to pray to it, but those foolish witches never used it for a weapon. As I was the one who killed the high priestess there, the honor was mine to wield this as a weapon. It has served me many years and is how I was granted my name."
"I believe this will be best suited in your hands Dwarf." says Graxxy.
Graxxy scratches his head a moment then states.
"Grush there's no easy way to put this we're going to have to bring all the heads of your fallen back with us as proof of their demise. I realize this may be hard on you but try to realize this may help satisfy any of those seeking revenge against your clan. This should improve your chance of survival once we return. Your camp will be unharmed when we leave."
Gorlok accepts the weapon from graxxy and turns to the orc.
”Aye dunt understand why youd turn yurself in halfbreed. wut is it ya hope ta gain? ya sey tha baron broke his treaty and attacked yur people unprovoked....surely ya knows that tha only thing a waitin fer ya is the executioners block.
Grush scratches his chin and says "I doubt that. The Baron could of easily wiped us out before, but chose to spare us. Let me guess.. The baron guaranteed more money for me alive than dead? Because he is not a tyrant and I am sure that he knows that some is awry with the situation. I am coming willingly to spare the rest of my tribe. At least I know that the children and few have fled north. If I fight now, there is no chance to save them. We can not overpower the kingdom. We learned that years ago."
“no aye suppose not given a handful o sellswords sacked yer camp in broad day light. but moments ago ya wer a day from deaths door, why not take this new chance at life and lead yer people outa the barons grasp. aye it matters lil ta meh
gorlok shrugs at graxxy.
”never hav aye seen no orc tern belly up so fast. must beh made o tougher stuff where im from.”
Grush laughs at the dwarf "If I was full orc I am sure my decisions would be different, but my mother was human and I know the ways of the orc would of killed us all 10 years ago. Sometimes being a leader means dying for something you believe in and I believe we can make peace again... Hell it beats death for my family."
Realizing that Grush truly knows little about his infliction, Ulala makes note of the possible entrance to the Underdark.
"This God of yours may not be what it appears to be, chieftain."
Turning her gaze to the spear Gorlok is now holding, she again mentions to Grush:
"That prized weapon of yours too, is more than it seems. Are you sure you don't have unfinished business to do? You are likely to be imprisoned for a long time after this."

Percy searches the camp and is quickly able to find blacksmith tools.
gorlok turns to percy
”nonsense, aye never left no man behind, we leave tagether, or not at all”
" On second thought this might not take as long as I thought!" Percy calls back to the group.
Percy will take the Blacksmith tools, Repair Gotrek and return the tools to where he found them before returning to the other tent with Gotrek.
" Maybe not such a rough test after all."
Graxxy nods in agreement.
"I have no quarrel with Murzush but I am no commander. The others heading this way may not be so merciful. She and we must go now. You are honorable and therefore will not be bound. Say your goodbyes. I hope you are able to meet again."
Graxxy stands and motions toward the tent flap.

gorlok marvels over the unique craftmanship of the spear. its obvious to him that this is no ordinary weapon.
”tell meh orc, how did yas acquire a weapon suchas this?”

DM note: I am going to cut it here. I will update tomorrow with the next part of the campaign of heading back to town.
