Tsendur is bad shape. He has been badly beaten, and even a little walking set him into a coughing fit.
"I will buy you a gallon of ale, and get you all dinner at the Crossed Wands, but there are some things in my house I was hoping you could retrieve. My other spell book, and the reliquary."
(Let me know what room you want to search, and give me an investigation roll. We'll see who finds what.)
Bilick watches the big orc for a moment and then closes his eyes, thinking deeply of everything he saw in the tower. "Nae need for spells fer me, wizard. 'Twas my duty to stop those unnatural beasties. And this bleedin' curse, whatever it is.... it can't be allowed to spread, ye ken?
Bilick will join the search by focusing on the privvy area. He also specifically examines the other rocks in the tub to see if there is anything unusual about them.
"I seem to have forgotten where I last left my spell book, but the reliquary was in my lab." Tsendur says. "The reliquary is a simple box, carved from black-wood, with double doors with onyx knobs. I do hope it was not stolen along with the clasp."
"Ah, you found the stones of heat! They are quite luxurious." Tsendur says to Bilick. "Just say 'Razi' and they will heat enough water for a bath, and keep it hot. You are welcome to keep them."
"I find wood box ok."He says to the half orc. Without hesitation he jumps back through the rubble and up the stairs to the top floor. " Come box. No hiding"
Kendrick works with the half-orc, trying to look carefully through the room for the book or the box. "I'm Kendrick," he offers, nodding at the one helping him, saying, "and I'm new to town. Do you have any idea what is going on here?"

In the lavatory, Billik finds that apart from the personal grooming items in this room, there are two minor magic items present. The handful of rocks in the washtub grow hot enough to heat the tub’s contents when a trigger word is uttered while touching them. The commode is also enchanted, casting prestidigitation on whoever sits upon it every round they remain seated, using the cleaning property of the spell.
In the bedroom, Balos finds the 2nd copy of Tsendur's spell book under his bed. Kendrick finds a wand of magic missiles stashed under the pillow.
On the third floor you don't find anything immediately, but there is more to go though.

After continuing to search Osso locates the reliquary where Tsendur stored the Clasp. It is here on this floor. It has no difficulty surviving the flames due to its immunity to damage.
Tsendur tells you a little about a couple of the items.
Drendari’s Deedbox Wondrous item, legendary This reliquary was carved from the stuff of shadow and secrets by the demi-goddess Drendari during the Divine War. On the outside, the box appears to be a simple box, one foot tall, six inches wide and six inches deep, carved from blackwood. The front of the box is split into double doors that are affixed to the box with black iron hinges. Each door has a small knob carved from onyx. The interior of the box offers perfect containment, preventing the contents from being detected by any means. Any item placed within the box cannot be scried, dowsed for, or detected by any means while the box remains closed. During the Divine War the deedbox was used by Drendari to pass messages on behalf of gods and their mortal generals. The box’s exterior is virtually indestructible. It is immune to all forms of damage and can only be destroyed if bathed in the heart’s blood of a divine being for 30 days. Once locked, the box can only be opened with the command word. Any attempt to open the box with a spell other than wish automatically fails, wasting the spell slot.
Tsendur’s Spellbook Wondrous item, rare This item is actually a pair of matched books which are mystically bound to one another. Any writing or drawing performed in one of the books will magically copy itself into the same place in the other book as long as both books are on the same plane of existence. This is extremely useful for wizards who can effectively make an exact duplicate for their spellbook at no additional cost. Some messengers and nobles use similar items to assist in long-distance communication, but the creation of such a tome is prohibitively expensive, making these books rare treasures.
Kendrick will grab the wand and keep searching until he hears that the items of note have been found. He will also grab anything that he thinks will be immediately useful to the wizard, then head out and present them to the injured half-orc.

Scooping up the spellbook Balos follows Kendrick back to Tsendur. "Name's Balos. Fairly new myself so not a clue." He's answers. Turning to Tsendur. "How did this all start?"
"I find box like I say" Osso says with a toothy grin. Seeming very proud of his efforts, he hands the box over to Tsendur. "What is box for? So plain. No carving. Not dwarven. You want rock box. Rock stronger than tree"he's obviously oblivious to the functionality of the box. "Missing more things? I get" he asks of the half orc.
Bilick, being a crude sort, has a good laugh at the magical items he finds in the lavatory, though he does make sure he pockets the warming stones, then joins the others outside. He pops a Goodberry and eats it messily, the juice dripping down into his beard.
"I got three of these things left if any of ye want them, and ye need a bit of a pick-me-up." He offers the berries to the others.
"Correct, Osso, this box was not made by dwarfs. It was actually made by a demi-goddess. We must get the clasp back into this box."
"Let's discuss this properly over food and drink." Tsendur proclaims. He calls a wagon and you travel over to the Crossed Wands Tavern and Inn.
"How did this all start." Tsendur thinks where he should start the story. "When I inherited this home, I also inherited a small reliquary, called Drendari’s deedbox, which my uncle had protected for his whole life. This reliquary had been in the possession of my family since we came to Durgan’s Rest and was entrusted to us to protect by Durgan himself. The diaries of my forebears indicated that the reliquary was not to be opened, but my curiosity was sufficient to overcome the decades old edict. I opened the deedbox to discover that it contained a powerful magical clasp, and the interior of the reliquary was filled with sigils and symbols designed to contain the item’s power while preventing scrying. Taking rubbings of the item and the sigils, and returning the reliquary to its sealed state, I journeyed to Bridged City to consult the archives at the Academy of Magic and Engineering. During this research, I discovered that the item was likely the Clasp of Vergren, a relic owned by the Sire of Sorcery, the Titan Mesos. Unsure of what to do with this knowledge, and stunned with the responsibility of its charge, I returned to his home. I was attacked by an even woman, I didn't know her, but I knew she wanted the clasp."
Eating and drinking like he hasn’t had civilized food in days ( because he hasn’t), Kendrick doesn’t immediately respond. He seems to be a bit startled by Osso’s presumption, though, and pauses to weigh in.
”Thanks for the food and drink, Tsendur, but even though I’d like to help, I am not particularly skilled in hunting down lost magic items. Also, I need to find a new job so I can afford to support myself—I am really only good at sailing and fighting,” comments Kendrick on the mage’s questions answered Osso’s declaration, perhaps not making the connection between ‘saving the world from a magic damping field’ and ‘potential income opportunity’.
