After hearing Rex's statement Arliden says, "You know, that's fare. I'll keep that in mind my friend. We all might need a little redemption"

Arliden eventually makes his way over to Fjord and the coins. "Ya, thats um....weird. If we have a few minutes I can check to see if there is any magic in the area?"

The symbols are more generically dragon themed than Tiamat themed.

You can make an Intelligence (History or Religion) check to see if you can recall something about why they might be stacked like that.

Rex will keep the expensive symbols then.

Arliden sits down and starts ritually casting Detect Magic. "If we need to go in the next 10 minutes let me know."

You detect nothing magical.

Arliden begins moving the copper pieces to form 176 stacks of 4 copper per stack....unless you know....someone stops him.

Fjordix had been interested in the ritual but the stacking now just seems unnecessary. "Put the coins in a bag, lets get a move on"

Seeing as we don't "really" have a super-stealthy person Arliden is willing to take the lead.

Rex and Hatchling will lead.

Rex leads the party down the stairs into a cavern that appears to be a shrine to Tiamat, but with an emphasis on her black dragon head and on black dragons in general. It also contains many Cult of the Dragon icons. Flickering oil lamps provide dim light. As you enter the room, Langdedrosa Cyanwrath emerges from the shadows, flanked by two very muscular humans. "“Hatchling! You've come back! And, is that the squishy human? You survived! I don’t know whether to be disappointed or pleased. It’s a mix of both, I think. It's not often I get a chance to do a round 2. What do you say? You and me, one-on-one again?” With that, Langdedrosa moves to strike.

[Fjordix, roll initiative. If the rest of the party would like to join the fight as well, you can roll initiative, too.]
