Rex thumps his head against the pole again, and mutters, “Io give me patience. Ok. Listen, buddy. The name’s Rex’aliha, ex-member of the Cult of Dragons, current prophet of the dragon god, Io. Really, I don’t even want to be here, but we decided to be nice and help your buddy out. We just saved the town a little bit ago. My buddy Fjordix there got that scar from battling Langdedrosa. Novot seems to spit venom whenever someone mentions the word ‘Tiamat,’ and Arliden’s a redhead. I get that we clearly aren’t the most trustworthy bunch, but we need you to help us if we’re going to get anywhere. Trust me, if I wanted to get in your head by force,” Rex then speaks into his mind, “I could.”

Lesoin looks at Rex a bit confused. Slowly, he says, "Tell you what. If you get me back to Greenest and Nesim confirms that he sent you, I'll tell you everything I know. Until then, I can't risk the possibility of you working with Rezmir."

“Great! So you’ll come with us?”

Fjordix relaxed a little, maybe he wouldn't have to hurt this old and broken man after all.

"Yes. Though, we'll have to make it quick. A guard pokes a head in every few minutes to make sure we know we're being watched. If you wouldn't mind, I have a set of lock picks in my boot. I'm afraid I can't get to them in my current position." 

"Ok so now you're coming with us.....you're not gonna like get half way back to Greenest and change your mind right?"

Leosin gives Arliden a sardonic smile and says, "I promise not to change my mind beyond the quarter point of the journey."

"I swear I will charm you so hard." He says with a smirk.

[Novot can help Fjordix first, then both can help people out. Should give us lots of Advantages]

[Everyone make a Strength (Athletics) check advantage and with an additional 1d4 (from Novot's Guidance) . Alternatively, you could make a Dexterity (Thieves' Tools) check with the extra 1d4, but not at advantage.]

Fjordix easily breaks through the chains this time.

"I loosened those up...for me" he says gruffly before going over to assist the others. If the others are good he will stand guard and ready himself to grab anyone who comes in to silence them.
