"That'd be at Master M's place, Mejins Outstanding Undisturbed Sleeping Establishment, or M.O.U.S.E for short." The dwarf takes the empty glasses off the bar and puts them on the kitchen counter behind him. "Only inn on the island."

"Truly? Real coffee?" Khurah plunks down the coinage. She turns out toward the barroom while she waits for her mug, idly scanning the other patrons (23). "Tell me about your lady love, Krumdak," she says without turning her head (she's not one for making eye contact, our druid).
OOC: Sorry so late. I needed to do nothing productive last night after the week I've (we've) had.
As soon as Gunnar falls to the floor, Xarprax laughs an expletive. He watches with a big smile and dancing eyes as the dwarf jumps over the bar and cares for the iron-clad warrior. Even after the dwarf climbs back over and is finally placing his drink on the bar, Xarprax continues to grin down at Gunnar. He finally looks back at the barkeep after his comment about sticky fingers. When the dwarf turns to talk to the kitchen, the dragonborn clicks his tongue, "I knew that, Robesy. But they might know Phaendar Yinqen at the Cat Mint? That another tavern?" When offered a kelp ball, he almost greedily reaches into the jar and pinches one of the round, brackish brown balls between two claws and then pops it into his toothy maw. Chewing, he looks down at Gunnar again. He kicks at the goliath's leg playfully. "You one of them warfolks I've heard about?"
Gunnar was snoring, but he startles drunkenly awake when he is kicked. His head slowly turns to Xarprax, “Could be.” However, he puts his hand to the side of his mouth to whisper, “No, but don’t tell the Dragonborn...”
While one dwarf is grinding up the coffee beans for Khurah the other answers Xarprax. "Catnip Tap is more of a dive bar than a tavern. The seedier types hang there, so if this Phaendar guy is a thief that's the place to look." He eats a tar ball himself. "The Tap also has shitty booze, nothing rich, spicy or sweet. Just, booze."
Khurah:
You are kind of distracted by the goofy dragonborn and the alcohol filled tin can. All you discern is the different groups found in the tavern. Two tables are occupied with dirty faced dwarves and humans. One has a couple of tattooed burly looking men of different races and one table only has two patrons.

OOC: She's paying attention to what the dwarves are saying, just trying to look less interested than she is. If something obvious is happening in the bar, she'd notice; however, knowing that her type (the seedier side of town) is usually in another bar, she's not really caring too much about the patronage right now.
TL;DR: She's not actively looking for anything at the moment.
So how do you know it's this gang taking things? Could be anyone, couldn't it?
He shrugs. "I suppose so, but that wouldn't really go by the nine up top. See, I know you're new here, but things on the islands work a little different from the glommie places on the mainland. Here we operate under the first nine who claimed the island as their own. I wasn't there, Master M sent for my brothers and I a little later, but anyway.. At least everyone says that they were some of the first here and that they split stuff up. Master M is head of food, drinks and lodging, then there is that fire dude with the forge and the weasel with regular trade." He scratches his chin, his hand disappearing into the thick beard. "Then there is ol' Blacktooth and the Scalecloak leader, Thunderscale. The others stay more secret, but far as I know they're not so sweet. One of thems head of the Deathbed place and one MUST be living in the big, scary, spinny tower." He walks around the counter this time and tries to help Gunnar up, as a minute has passed. "So I bet that the Pursecutters have monopoly on pickpocketing and thievery. Getting into a business of the nine is usually not good for your business, or teeth. For instance, if you open a restaurant or pub without Master M's permission and blessing you'll suddenly be missing all your food and your new tavern might be a charred ruin the next day. Usually only the food thing though. Master M really is a nice guy, but the nine has a reputation to tend to or something." He tries to pat Gunnar on the shoulder but realises he'd never reach so he gets back behind the bar.
Xarprax leans against the bar and addresses whichever dwarf is closest. "Hey, there, Robesy, I need to find some work. You know where a strong guy can make a little coin to refill his purse?"
Gunnar, with the dwarf’s ironic help, struggles to his feet before shaking his head to clear it. While he now has a terrible headache, he at least seems to be tighter lipped than when he was on the floor. Gunnar puts his hands on the bar, “Who among these Nine governs over religious matters?”

"Robesy? Don't know this Robesy fella, but it depends on how you're defining "strong guy". Are you looking to carry crates or break someones nose? Cause we got need for both around in the city." The dwarf points to the kitchen. "Like for instance. We get a new shipment of stuff on a Pexian ship two weeks from now. If you feel like helping out by carrying a couple crates I'm sure Master M will pay you a droplet or two."
"Religion? No religion around here, my dude. At least not yet. We don't condone the glommie way of only letting certain gods be worshipped, so you're free to build a temple. But it will have to come out of your own pocket and labour."

"Why. Are you the threatened or the the threatener?" The dwarf asks, suspicion blatantly smeared all across his face. He continues for Krumdak. "Well. We don't break a lot of noses in the dinner business, but same offer goes for you about carrying crates. If you really are looking to break noses I guess you could ask if the Scalecloaks need any work done. They're mostly lazy and only work when paid so they sometimes just take a piece of the pay themselves and hire someone else. Check by the Graystack in the morning. There is also the disappearing stuff in the fog thing. The fishermen have promised to try and pay stuff back and the half-orc lady looks like the has dealt with some magic fogs before." He looks across the bar to the two people at a table alone. "Thats two fishermen right there, they'll know more about the whole fog ordeal."

"Oy! Careful", Krumdak says to Xarprax almost spilling his Pexian drink.
Verrynia looks at Gunnar for a moment and sighs before returning her attention to the dwarf.
Anyway... Where's a good place to spend the night?

The Catnip where one would find these Pursecutters then?
Verrynia turns around, back to the bar, and looks around the tavern.
"Maybe. It's not like they're easy to find." The dwarf replies, wiping the counter with a rag.
If you want, you can give me a perception check Verrynia.
