Rhok picks up his drink, motions to the barmaid that he's moving towards the bar so his meal will find him. He casually approaches it, settles in next to where the Dragonborn is, leaving sufficient personal space between them. He nods acknowledgement at him, and takes a long draw from his tankard.
"So I hear you'll be looking for Townmaster Harbin as well? Seems like this dragon has everyone in a tizzy, can't wait to hear something beyond just the rumors that the townfolk have been muttering about. Apologies for any assumptions, however, deal with many of the chromatics where you're from?"
Xarrothlooks at the human with a raised eyebrow for a moment. Then to hear he may be a potential ally, he eases into a smile, "Indeed, you heard correctly. A dragon is no small panic; a devastating crisis looms and I am a little surprised there are workers still here, even if it is mere mutterings."
"Oh, the chromatics..." a low growl bubbles for a moment, small licks of a flame flicker from between his fangs. "We have, yes. Dragonborn heroes have risen to thwart them, always. Wju would this time be any different." He eyes up Rhok, "Looking for treasure hoard, or a fine tale, human?"
Rhok turns his head slightly towards the Dragonborn, pauses for a moment, slight grin crossing his face.."a little of both, and being able to help out some people who can't help themselves....." he gives a slight chuckle...."but they all allow me to gain some sort of coin. You are correct friend, a dragon is no easy test, you look like you're up for a hunt. Wonder if it might be just you and I on this mission. I hear the best time to have an audience with the Townmaster is in the earlier mornings."
Getting up, and haing heard the two at the bar talking about hunting and dragons, Lia moves over and takes a seat with them.
"I happened to overhear you speaking of the dragon, and a hunt." Lia says as she tucks some of her silvery hair behind her ear. "I too was interested in learning more about this, and was wondering if I could accompany you to see the townmaster in the morning."
Lothlién, too, joins the group. "It seems that we're all the foreigners in here, so I thought we might have something to talk. And I'm sure I overheard the word 'dragon' a few times... Should we team up against such challange?" he says, as casually as a talk about killing a dragon could be.
Rhok looks over the two additions to the bar, nods approvingly...."Dragons are no easy task, the more help, the more likely to return, I'm all for teaming up...have any of you heard on a possible age or comparable size of it? I hear it's a white, any of you have ideas on weaknesses?"
OOC to DM Rhok would like to see if he can recall anything he may know about white dragons (not sure if it would be history, animal handling check

"Well, I don't know a lot about them, but I do recall that whites are normally solitary and not overly smart." Lia says as she recalls the little she does know about them.
The dragonborn laughs open, "Well, yes, going by that I can only agree, but at the hour's end, it's still a dragon. I say we learn what we can from this Townmaster, and enjoy our last night of comfort and a head not full of horrific echoes." He raises his glass to those around, "I am Xarroth, and I look forward to this great hunt."
Xarrothattempts to recall what he knows of dragons that could help.
Being a dragonborn, Xarroth still recalls the basic information about white dragons. They like cold climates and would likely seek to stablish a lair in the top of the mountains.
"Shall we meet up again at dawn, here in the common area?" Lia asks as it appears they have settled on all going to see this town master in the morning.
Rhok doesn't remember much about dragons. As an orphaned street urching, he hardly had the time to spare learning about something that sounded as somebody elses problem.
Rhok "Xarroth? Names Rhok, a pleasure" Likewise raises his tankard in a cheers fashion to the Dragonborn, and to the other newcomers. "Good advice, let us eat and drink heartily as a doubt a White Dragon would serve anything warm! We shall see one another in the common area then"
Having a fine meal, and topping up his goblet, Xarrothrelishes the delicate taste and intricate smells. They remind him this is what he is fighting for, not for his own experience, but the experience for others to have also, and not to be snatched away by jaws of malice.
Bidding the bartender goodnight, he makes his way to own bed, opening himself to the opportunities of tomorrow...
Rhok wakes up with the crack of sunlight into town, heads down to the tavern for probably the last breakfast on a plate for a little while, and begins collecting his thoughts. He thinks about the White Dragon, and goes through a mental checklist of questions he would like to have answered before they leave town.
Thinking about the new compatriots he met last evening....Xarroth seems like he might have some experience, Lothlién and the silver haired half elf girl seemed well versed also. If the Whites are solitary, at least there should only be one, perhaps it can be tricked....
Rhok finishes his breakfast, gives the barmaid the coin to cover the charges (OOC to DM 5 silver?) and waits for everyone to wake
In the morning Lia gets ready, then goes down to the tap room. She finds a few of the others already there, so takes a seat with them, having some breakfast and spiced cider as well. When everyone is ready she will go with them to see the town master.

Lia considers what she knows of dragons...
Arcana: 18 (subtract 2 if it is nature instead...)
A nature or history check would work for this.
Lia remembers that among dragons, white ones are known to be solitary creatures, easy to anger and not particularly intelligent.
Xarroth attempts to recall what he knows of dragons that could help.
Nature / History - 6 (Same bonuses)
Being a dragonborn, Xarroth still recalls the basic information about white dragons. They like cold climates and would likely seek to stablish a lair in the top of the mountains.
"Shall we meet up again at dawn, here in the common area?" Lia asks as it appears they have settled on all going to see this town master in the morning.

"Will meet you here then at dawn." Lia agrees and, giving them all a nod of farewell, heads off to her room for some rest.
Lothlién raised his tankard "Pleasure to meet you all, I'm Lothlién. It's settled, then, tomorrow at dawn!"
After finishing his meal, Lothlién goes to his bedroom, and tries to recall any knowledge he has about dragons until he falls asleep.
