The kobolds make great time descending the mountain and you are just barely able to lay your trap before they come around the bend that would allow them to see what you are doing. One of the locals named Victor was able to help with the oil and just managed to duck out of sight before the kobolds come into view.
They abruptly stop as they see the lit up boulder and begin to chatter among themselves as they look around.
Perception check: 13
(OOC: I quite literally laughed out loud at this roll.)
Sensing no issues, they proceed ahead, slowing down as the terrain becomes difficult. Seeing his moment, Alto lets loose with a quick firebolt and makes a direct hit on the oil which explodes, sending the kobolds into a frenzy.
Oil Damage: 10
The kobolds run in different directions, the four with the odd spears all limping badly as they all slap out the flames on them.
From above, you see a large gout of flame blast out and hear a roar that reverberates through the town as the dragon takes flight.

Seeing the dragon take flight Kellin shakes his head. 'I said this was not a good plan." He states out loud. "Just as I figured we set up a nice beacon to tell the dragon that their minions are in trouble..."
he lifts up a crossbow though and takes a shot at one of the kobolds, as his owl familiar flies by distracting the fellow.
Danfi shakes his head in disgust at the behavior of Moira, thinking to himself, 'she is going to get everyone in the village killed with her reckless behavior'.
Danfi casts Hunter's Mark on the closest goblin. He then takes aim with his long bow and lets loose an arrow Attack: 22 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. extra damage from Hunter's Mark damage: 2

I concentrate on the kobolds that are nearest to me. My priority is to take out the ones with the strange backpacks first. After that I would go for melee fighters.
Moira: You step up to one of the Kobolds with a backpack and mightly swing, the weight of the sword and your strength cleaving directly through the creature. It's top half slides for a moment before falling off and dropping to the ground in a spray of blood.
Alto: Your Chaos bolt flies directly past the kobold as it ducks quickly, slamming into a tree, splattering into ice crystals all around the base.
Kellin: Your familiar swoops in and flaps it's wings in one of the kobold's face as your crossbow bolt slams into the base of it's neck. It gurgles for a few moments before it falls backward onto its backpack.
Danfi: You fire your longbow and the arrow streaks across the fiery battlefield to pierce one of the kobolds holding a staff on the left shoulder, it spins around from the blow and almost falls down, but steadies itself.
Torvin: You run towards the battle after securing the mayor, surveying the area quickly and seeing the kobold get hit with Danfi's arrow, you point at the creature and flames cascade down on it. It runs around for a moment on fire, then falls over and stops moving.
There are four kobolds with shields and two (1,2) of them run towards Moira, one of them (3) runs towards Torvin and one (4) throws his spear at Kellin.

The three kobolds with the staves see two of their numbers get dropped and all three cast a spell almost in unison with each other and turn and run back up the hill with extreme speed.
The two of the three kobolds with what looked to be backpacks, but you see are basically cages strapped to their backs take a basket each at Danfi (1) and Alto (2). The baskets break open and swarms of centipedes fall out. The kobolds then begin to run back up the hill as well.

Danfi takes off after the three kobolds with the staffs. If he gets close enough, he will target one with his hunter's mark and shoot it with his long bow. Using his horde breaker ability he will shoot a second one.

Seeing the magic users flee and the others take aim at them, Alto sees that that’s what they should do and takes a shot with fire bolt at the third one that wasn’t attacked while trying to ignore the creepy crawlers around him.
Attack: 20 Damage: 1
(Apparently Alto is not supposed to be an attacker)
As the kobolds skitter away with resounding speed, you are able to get in a couple of hits.
Danfi: Your first arrow flies over the head of the kobold as it is running, but the second one nails it directly in the back, almost bowling it over.
Kellin: Your familiar flies in and grabs at the kobold's clothing before flying off, as the creature reacts and tries to shoo the creature away, your bolt slams into the back of it's neck and it drops dead to the ground.
Alto: Your firebolt flies in with unerring accuracy, but at the last minute the kobold dodges wildly and is only singed slightly by the flames.
Torvin: Your sacred flame washes over the kobold and you smell burning flesh and hair as it yelps in pain and presses the attack.
Moira: You cleave into the shield wielding kobold directly in front of you, cutting into it's armor and a yellowish energy washes off your blade to engulf the creature, it's eyes go wide and it angrily pushes your sword away with it's shield.
(OOC: Just some FYI tips, Booming Blade is a spell that includes an attack, not an attack that includes a spell effect, so it can't be applied to the attack granted by great weapon master. It also uses the cast a spell action, rather than the attack action, so it also doesn't work with the extra attack feature and that sort of thing. Just wanted to make that apparent, it can be a bit confusing.)
(OOC: Kellin would use his movement this last round to separate from the others, moving to put distance between them and him. "If that dragon comes we won't want to be grouped up..." he calls out.

Ooc: What kind of terrain are we on? Forest, fields,..? What is on each side of the road (decline, mountain wall,...)?

Seeing this, Alto prepares a spell and fires chaos bolt at the nearest kobold, shooting just a violent mass at it

and missing completely, hitting a tree in the distance with something that might be acid.
(ooc: are any kobolds dead? Do we have surprise?)
I charge forward to the nearest pair of kobolds which are not more than 5 feet apart and strike the left one.

Torvin and Hodil would have probably have showed up just as the action had started with the Kobolds scattering. Torvin will try to survey the scene

If there is a kobold within 60' Torvin will cast sacred flame with a DC13 Dex save. 8 radiant damage with a failed save
No manipulated dice roll. the first damage roll didn't show up so rolled again. Then 1st roll showed up so I deleted 2nd and got manipulated notice.
