Garnet walks around the other side of the statue and sees Daemyar, "You look weak my friend. Want to arm wrestle me?" Garnet laughs to herself and then looks Daemyar over for other injuries.
You can tell Daemyar is very injured. In addition to the physical damage sustained, he seems frail and weaker than normal. You understand that he’s been drained of strength since you know about these creatures.
Garnet stays with Daemyar and stands watch as he rests. “I can heal you for some of your points but I cannot get that ability back until I rest for a long while.”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
For the first time since you've met him Shere growls but more of an irritated one shown by his tail twitching "You're not a cat, stay yourr curriosity"he shakes his head "Not until you'rre rested. If this is trapped you're done forr"
He keeps watch while playing his song of rest not needing a rest himself.
Krom marches over to Daemyar after he collapses and grabs him by the neck of his armor; looking him dead in the eyes, "Ye Mordain Forger idget! What in the abyss were ye thinkin' stickin' yer nose where ye was warned about the danger?!" He jabs a finger a couple of time at Daemyar's head, "I'd ask ye if ye had the brain of a troll in there, but that would be instultin' to trolls." He lets Daemayr go, "Ye can sit there to lick yer wounds and think about if the fight was worth it; I won't be healin' ye on this one. If ye want that, ask the paladin; Moradin only knows their too soft fer their own good. Don't ye be forgettin' the lot of us have a job to do down here too." Krom walks off a ways to take up a watch position, if there is a rest.

Daemyar and Ithelion take your rest - [be sure to click the short rest button on your sheets. Shere's song of rest will give you 5 extra hit points when you use your hit dice to recover hp.]
The hour goes by uneventfully. Daemyar and Ithelion look hale again.
The red glow still emanates from the dragon statue and there is a door to the north.
“Friend Krom… we are explorers of danger. I would not leave this place without finding its end. Therefore, I run towards the danger. I thought you would agree. I didn’t mean to act against the wishes of friends.”
actually, I was sorta confused how I got surprised after ithelion gave warning. Hidden made sense, but surprise was… surprising. It’s not like I didn’t hear her. But I also didn’t want to interfere if there was something else at work.
Shere tilts his head and his tail forms a question mark "You get too farr ahead. Sprring trraps instead of disabling them. We value yourr life! Maybe slow down to a brrisk walk, Amigo."
He addresses Ithelion "Maybe your mage hand? Us not in the room" He points to the statue.
Just a reminder of what this looks like. And also that nothing happened when Ithelion said the words aloud looking through Elosa at that time.
Dragon-carved granite blocks line this chamber's walls and ceiling, though many are crumbled and broken, leaving stony debris on the floor. A huge marble statue of a rearing dragon stands in the curve of the western wall. The eye sockets of the dragon are empty, but a red glow lingers there, providing reddish light throughout the chamber. The radiance casts an inky shadow behind the statue's wide wings. A five-foot-diameter, circular tile of dark stone is set in the floor in front of the dragon statue. Runes are carved around the circular tile's inner edge.
You all see the reddish glow that makes everything have a reddish tinge to it except for the shadow cast by the statue. It is considered dim light but the only color you see is red.
"If they'rre gems inside then there may be anotherr firre snake orr something worrse. Maybe you could check this place for trraps and disable them please senior"He shrugs "Orr we could save ourr resources forr the trree and leaf this herre forr laterr"
For what it’s worth, you don’t feel any heat here, like you did in the chambers that held the fire snakes. By the same token, you don’t see any gems in the eyes of the stone dragon here.
Daemyar will look to Ithelion. “I believe we have only become better off each time we discovered treasure. This light… we could change it with other stones. But I don’t need to risk everyone if you all decide different.”
"Can you reach the eyes to put them in? I will boost you up to put them in if you want, Daemyar." Garnet agrees with the others concern, but the major threat seems vanquished and this may create another passage. "Seems to be a bit of a dead end here. Perhaps there are stairs down."

Daemyar collapses to the ground. “Just… just a little while.“
”This statue. Did we save the eyes from the last statue? Put ‘em in there. I’d bet more treasure.”

Ithelion, also drained herself, eyes Daemyar with concern. "If the rest is not enough, we do have potions."
She asks Elosa to keep watch while resting.
