Cayden readies himself, pulling his stiletto and spinning it in his right hand until he finds a firm grip. His left hand continues to rub on the stone he carries with him. His eyes narrow once they see the Vonthan soldiers.
(I threw together a map of Aedaerin yesterday, first one on Inkarnate. But I can't figure out how to scale the image for DnDB, so I put the image link in the DM notes.)

Scal smacks himself against his forehead, I can not believe you slept in today of all days, knew that one last tankard of ale was a mistake last night, especially right before a battle, Scal you know batter. sigh, and of course you took a wrong turn and are on the opposite side of the street that you should be on. I swear Jalin is going to kick you out of the group if you continue to mess up like this. He understands what I am going through at the moment, but he still needs a person without any distractions as en are relying on him and those that serve under him. Today marks the day you start to turn your life around and start to pay back those bastards for what they have done to my family. Today marks the day the blood gets repaid ten-fold. Now let me see what I can do to help those across the street gain some advantage.
At which point Scal casts Minor Illusion down a side street, opposite the side my friends are on, of the shuffling of several armored feet and whispers of men getting ready to attack, hoping to draw the attention of the wagon guards and even bring some of them over to investigate. DC 12
Two of the Talons turn toward the ally, rifles raised. A third approaches the ally, and starts looking for the source of the noise. Scal spots Jalin across the street nodding thanks his way.
Jalin raises his hand. Five fingers. Four. Three. Most of the soldiers are shaking, only the battle hardened ones remain calm. Two. One. Jalin suddenly yells, "Freedom or Death!" and leads the soldiers into battle with his greatsword in the air.

The four wagons are 15ft from the side street the soldiers were hiding in. There are 6 Talon on the North side (your side) of the wagons. They are 13ft away, the 6 Talon on the other side are 20ft away. Scal is 20ft away from the wagons on the South side. The Talon with the red cloak is 15ft away, standing on the wagon cab.

As other rebels run into battle, Cayden holds his ground, and focuses on the closest member of the Black Talon. He extends his left arm, and focuses his stone towards the Talon member. Others are now able to see that there are etch marks in this stone... 4 lines, all intersecting in the middle forming a star. As Cayden completes his incantation with barely a whisper, purple light grows from the etchings until energy blasts forth.
As you all are together with the rebels, you see as a tall tan elf with shoulder-length dirty blonde hair steps out of hiding nearby, on the other side of the road. He is wearing a dark cowl, a deep purple shirt with lines of orange and green covered in frills, and dark blue slacks. He is holding a revolving rock flinger, which he then aims at a member of the Black Talon, pulls back a trigger, and a small gray rock slings out of the barrel of the firearm.
Just before this happens, I mutter some arcane words focused on my target (whichever member of the Black Talon is closest to me and has the most hit points, if I can tell)
Attack: 26 Damage: 19

The element of surprise helps the rebels. Cayden's attack hits a Talon in the chest, the resilient soldier stands back up, and aims his rifle toward Cayden.
Two Talons turn toward the newcomer, black cloaks twirling in the rain. They both aim rifles, but the elf shoots first. His round hits the nearest Talon in the head, killing him instantly. His lifeless body hits the wet cobblestone with a thud.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As the group starts to charge Kelgar runs with them but loses his lead due to his short legs. Wait for me!
Angry that he might miss out on the fight he bursts into rage as he sprints the last part. (BA rage)
Throwing his greataxe up in the air in front of him letting it slide through his right hand and gripping it on the bottom part of the handle before it flies out of his reach. Using the weight of the axe to carry him up in the air a few inches more. As he starts to come down from the air he reaches up to grip the axe with both hands again and with an overhead swing he aims for one of the Talons. Trying to land the blow as he reaches the ground for added impact.
Aarrgggh !He shouts a warcry while he is flying through the air.
Not caring who else is around him Kelgar is just focused on the Talon that he is leaping towards (Reckless attack, so he gets adv but attacks against him get it as well until my next turn)
Greataxe Attack: 12 Damage: 8 +2 dmg from rage = 10 dmg (sorry forgot to add in roll)
As Scal is still a little out of position and is standing on the side of the street between the 1st and 2nd wagon. He surveys the starting battle and then turns to the 1st wagon and sees the red cloaked talon start to react to the attack. Well, might as well attack the head of this thing.
A globe of what looks molten fire starts to glow in his hand as he then tosses an orb at the Red cloaked Talon.
