K7 inches away from K3 and says "I want to live. She is telling a lie to you, there is a ship. It is very hard to see at night - in-vis-bubble. More kobold and more La-see-dons and sometimes the fish lady are on the ship. See I am good kobold, kill her kobold but not me kobold. Good pirates should sail away, leave good kobold alive and kill bad liar kobold."
K3 screeches with The Champion's swing, though it is Beatrice's intimidating form that pushes it over the edge and a yellow puddle forms underneath it as it changes its tune. It whimpers "I'm sorry, I am a bad, naughty, liar kobold. I'm sorry. Eth'il is saying a true, there is a ship. Fish lady said if we tell about ship, that they can't rescue us and pirates probably will eat us. I'm sorry. Ce'cil promise to tell a true from now on if angry lady-pirate and man-pirate not kill Ce'cil."
With that roll Kenton finds:
- A gold heart shaped locket around one lacedon's neck that has a drawing of a half-elf man with writing in Elvish in one half and engraving which says Wherever you travel, remember you always have my heart in the other half (worth 15 gp),
- A bracelet made of shark teeth around another's wrist with a unique design (worth 5 gp). Because Oden is helping you look, he sees this and recognises it as belonging to a shark hunter from Flora Isle that disappeared about two years prior,
- Tatters of rotted clothing that (from the colours and your travels) seem to be from port villages,
- One lacedon has a neck-coin-pouch which has 2 gp, 9 sp, 2 ep, 3 cp.
Kenton gathers everything up, not secretly (Oden can see) but keeping quiet until the fates of the two surviving kobolds have been decided.
After that is done, he says to Oden: Does this lost shark hunter have surviving family? We should return this keepsake, if we can. I do not recognise the man in this picture, but he also might be traced. The money perhaps we need for upkeep of the ship - shall I pass it to Boerth or Dajarkal?

The Champion is going to pick up the kobold. “Where is the ship?”
K7 (Ce'cil) and K3 (Eth'il) talk over each other, each trying to be more helpful than the other to prove their worth. Ce'cil says "the ship will be over that way and good pirates need to..." Eth'il "...but good pirates can't see it. That is what in-vis-bubble means. Keeping smart-kobold-Eth'il alive is better for good pirates..." Ce'cil "...No! Ce'cil has way to call ship, keep crafty-kobold-Ce'cil alive..."
They continue like that and you manage to get from them that:
-The ship is at least 1/2 hour to an hour sailing away, around where the tip of Flora Isle previously was.
- There are multiple rafts - Ce'cil seems to think there are three and Eth'il seems to think there are two. Neither seems to being dishonest about the number, they just don't seem to be terribly smart.
- Generally the invisible ship would not go to assist a raft in distress (they do not seem to understand, but from what the kobolds say it appears that the kobolds and lacedons are fairly disposable). It sounds like there are at least another fifteen or so kobolds on the ship as 'backup' and the 'fish-lady' (sahuagin) seems to be "calling" more lacedons every day.
- The kobolds dreamt about the ship, where it would pick them up and a new powerful god that would bring them power and treasure called: Eth'il "The God Who Eats...", Ce'cil "No! The Devourer" Eth'il "That is what it means!"
- The invisible ship is well armed and from what they say it sounds like there are canons (and/or arcane-cannons) and multiple ballista, which Dillyu indicates you would be no match for in your the Wavechaser/Euros, which is a trade vessel. Also, did anyone fix the two ballista on the Wavechaser/Euros?
We might devise a strategy to approach the enemy vessel unseen, or disguised,Kenton says, thinking aloud. Perhaps we could impersonate a returning raft of kobolds and undead monstrosities. His face betrays his disgust at the thought.
The only other thing to do is return to Port Damali and seek aid there; an escort ship, or improvements to this vessel or whatever vessel we are granted. A solid plan, no doubt, but it would take time and this sea devil would call more of her monstrosities. I would say we attempt to make the attack now, but only if we are confident the Wavechaser is safe.
"If we're going to get aid from somewhere it'd probably be better to get it from the Concord, just so it doesn't look like we're running off with their ship. I reckon trying to launch some sort of surprise attack on them would be our best option at this point, though, so they can't amass too much more power. Hey Dajarkal, is there any way for us to be able to contact to Concord in Port Damali?" Beatrice says.
[[ooc: I spent a lot of my childhood listening to Flight of the Conchords and it's very very hard to remember that there is no H in 'concord'!]]
[Rewatched season 1 of Flight of the Conchords recently, but Hurt Feelings (Tears of a Rapper) and Carol Brown seem to come up on our Spotify fairly often anyway. Also, have you see their charity song Feel Inside (And Stuff Like That)?]
Dajarkal responds "I could send animal messengers, though we are close to Port Damali and we could get there and ask in person before we would likely get a response. They were expecting us back already." She looks worried at the suggestion that you try and deal with the invisible ship now, but will go along if you all decide to change course.
The Champion narrows his eyes. “The raft didn’t get you this far all by itself. And with no ship, that means land somewhere. Where?”
Paladin - warforged - orange
K3 responds "We didn't tell you about the ship. I mean what ship? There is no ship."
K7 inches away from K3 and says "I want to live. She is telling a lie to you, there is a ship. It is very hard to see at night - in-vis-bubble. The Champion kills K3
Attack: 24 Damage: 9 + 7 Necrotic.
”Go on, kobold. Tell me where.”
(I mean, shit... miss???)

Oden is helping Kenton with his investigation while the interogation happens.
Kenton screws up his nose and investigates the dead undead: 21 (with help from Oden)
[[i love kobold 7 they are so precious]]
Beatrice will go do her best to loom intimidatingly next to the Champion.
Intimidation: Unable to parse dice roll.

“We could find Faeden’s ship...? Unless this is the ship that they’ve now got.” The Champion waves at the Kobolds.
“We could also pretend to be dead.”
