She encourages speed over stealth, thinking the sooner we get to the safety of the keep the better. After all, keeping a bunch of scared children quiet won't be easy. She'll keep an eye on Smoke and look out for the magical signs he's placing on the road before them, especially wary for any 'X' marks which might appear.
As Linan appears to have her mind set on a specific route, Rogram takes the flank, mostly walking backward to keep watch for any approaching danger. He conjures his mage hand and drags it through their footprints to try to make them hard to follow.

Cuth waves away Yevele's question of a walking stick, and refuses any of Thrax's medical attention. "No, stay away, we don't have time. I can make it to the Keep," he states flatly.
Linan nods curtly, leading the way down the alley she and her family had previous run toward and into another main thoroughfare, before cutting into another side street to follow Smoke's signal. Rogram's mage hand trails the group all the while, and suddenly the front ranks stop, an X marked into the street right in front of them. Around the bend, a man and woman cross in front, walking away from the party toward a house that appears to be unaffected by the chaos thus far. A pair of kobolds follows them, leaning up on their toes in an attempt to peer into the front window of the abode.
The man prepares to slam his shoulder against the door.

Yevele will glance up and see if she can catch Smoke's eye. The young woman will mouth "More?" to him. If he replies in the negative, the monk will immediately move to attack the nearest kobold.
If Smoke indicates that others are nearby, she will motion people back to try and hide in any nearby buildings or alleys.
If Yevele moves to attack, Thia will shout at the man about to bash the door down, "You're not strong enough to open the door if was ajar, you wimp!", using Vicious Mockery (DC 13 Wisdom) to do 1d4 psychic damage and have disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn, if he fails his save. She'll stand protectively in front of the children.
If Yevele signals us to move back, Thia will drop back into the shadows of the Alleyway, bringing the children with her and helping them to hide and stay quiet.
Dern will spin around and take aim at one of the Kobolds by the window of this house. "Now I've gotcha, ya welp..." He grumbles as he steadies himself, ready to loose his bolt as soon as any of the others launches any sort of attack.

Seeing his group prepare for another fight Smoke looks to Yevele seeing her question the surroundings so Smoke looks around again to see if they still have time or if there are others near. He will signal to her if he sees anything, or if he does not.
Then let her take the lead in deciding their course of action.
If he sees her or the others going in he will take another dagger to throw at one of the humans if they attack his allies.
Actions: Look if there are other enemies and let Yevele know what he sees by signaling with his hands and body. If possible Ready a dagger throw Attack: 12 Damage: 9, if the looking around takes up the action thats fine Smoke will focus on that primarily.
OOC: It would be possible to avoid this group by trying to sneak around the alley or retreating back the way you came. There don't appear to be any other raiders in the immediate vicinity, and Smoke would be able to relay that to Yevele.

It sound like Smoke's signal (grin) would be in the negative, so Yevele will be going forward with the attack.
Rogram looks around as the group stops. He watches Smoke, and when the tabaxi motions that he doesn't see anymore danger, the half-dwarf follows behind Yevele and the others, raising his sword with both hands and attacking the kobolds first. Once he reaches the creature, he spins and performs a minimal, yet interesting flourish with his blade. Despite focusing acutely on her own attack, Yevele catches sight of the maneuver and can't help but feel inspired.

The kobold pair barely has enough time to raise their weapons before Yevele has one falling over itself to avoid her staff and kicks, and Rogram is driving the other frantically backward. Thia's shout has a painful effect on the human man's head; he shakes it to clear his mind, and the humans draw scimitars from their belts, leaping into the fray in an attempt to defend their draconic allies. The woman cuts across Rogram's back painfully, but receives Smoke's dagger in her arm from above as the reward for her efforts. One kobold falls, a crossbow bolt fired into its neck from Dern. The other twists away from Thrax but fails to strike the lizardfolk with its dagger, unable to get past his stout shield.
Linan pulls her children back further from Thia and shouts, "Don't let us distract you, I have the children!"
Round 2 Order: Players <===== Enemies
Placement: One kobold and both humans remain. Rogram is engaged in melee combat with the kobold and the human woman. Thrax is engaged in melee combat with the kobold. Yevele is engaged in melee combat with the human man. All combatants are within movement range.

Thrax snarls at the Kobold and leers out from behind the spikes adorning his shield. When he sees a moment of vulnerability he lunges forward with his spear.
Dern reloads as her perceives the field of battle. He takes a moment to move, putting about 15 more feet between himself and the other hostilities. With the heavy crossbow ready, he raises it up, aims for the Kobold on Thrax, and fires!

With everyone standing so close Smoke will not risk throwing another dagger. Instead he burst into movement quickly climbing down from the building, when almost down he lets himself fall from a safe distance to land on the ground quicker.
He will run towards any remaining enemy while taking out his rapier using the momentum of his movement and when in striking distance he lunges forward using his rapier to poke his foe. But his foot steps into a small hole in the ground throwing him off balance and instead of lunging he stumbles the last part and barely manages to keep his rapier pointing forward.
Special: (if needed) Uses Feline agility to move from the roof to a remaining enemy.

Thia lets Linan take control of her children and steps into a more advantageous position. Calling out to the kobold fighting Thrax she yells out a curse, "You call that fighting? I've seen kittens with sharper claws!"

Yevele smacks her staff into the man's knee, tripping him up. As he falls, she kicks her leg upward, snapping his neck. His companion has little time to react, as Rogram forcefully thrusts his sword through her heart. The remaining kobold ducks in time to avoid Dern's shot, then spins away from a spear thrust by Thrax. Its face of glee when Smoke trips and falls suddenly gives way to pain, its mind assaulted by Thia's insult.
The kobold reels from the pain, blood running from a nostril. The creature's temporary bravado is gone, and it disengages and flees down a nearby alley.
Without the sounds of battle, raucous cheers and shouts can be heard from all around, mixed in with the occasional scream of pain. The front gate of the Keep is in view just a few hundred feet away past some more winding streets, as Linan collects her family and rejoins you. A line of guards out front frantically fire crossbows at faraway raiders, protecting a pair of civilians that runs through the gates to safety.
OOC: Each character has received 16 XP for defeating these raiders.
A note, now that Dern has used more than 1 piece of ammunition in a battle - I will remove all used ammunition after each battle. If your character takes the time (1 minute) after a battle to collect used ammunition, I will add half of the used ammo back.
(Smoke will keep 4, his original dagger +3 that he found and tuck them into his belt for now. He will look for a better way to store them later.)
