DM note: Technically Sayre did walk right past Serik and Devynn, You both were waiting beside the Entrance on the inside. Devynn was the closest to the small leather case and Sayre came up and took it. Both of you saw her do it and where she went. Considering there is no reason why they would be waiting outside the Takes doors for 2 individuals they know of but have never really met. Keep in mind, Sayre believes its Just Victor and herself going on this mission.
Serik and Devynn, You both are early risers. Having been prepared and awaiting your Companions on this mission, You witness a Female Tiefling simply walk up to the small leather satchel a few feet away from Devynn, Grab the small Leather satchel left by locke and head towards the mess hall.

DM: Ok, neither of them said they were in the Take. Devynn was still sleeping and Serik said tavern. I am to assume Sayre knows the two of them and that they've been added to their contract? I assumed they were added after Frilavor was kicked out and we'd already gone to bed! Color me confused. I stand by what I said. Sayre takes the leather pouch and brings it to Victor in the mess hall where they always meet for breakfast before going on a mission to eat and chat.

Serik looked over to where Devvyn was. "That was the one we are supposed to meet, right?" The Owl hooted something and Serik nodded. "Yeah, pretty sure that was her. They must not know we're going with them. It was pretty late last night. Shall we go introduce ourselves..?" He looked at Devvyn as he pushed away from the wall.
OOC: ok we shld be on track now. And I added an Avatar so hopefully it'll be easier to distinguish.
This is the Scene. Serik and Devynn are both early risers, You both were waiting patiently beside a Small leather satchel left by Locke that contained 4 greater healing potions. There are many Members of the Slayers take, While there are Slayers everyone is aware of, Including Locke and the Recently departed Lomin. For the most part you stick with the people you are comfortable with, as such you dont really learn the names or faces of the other members. Sayre, You commonly know there is always a "Parting gift" Left by the door for Slayers the morning their contract begins. You do see a Male human with a large greatsword and a Half-elf clutching a staff waiting beside the Takes Entrance in the morning. Not thinking anything of it, you grab the small satchel and head to the mess hall to meet up with victor.
Serik and Devynn, A Female tiefling grabs the Satchel next to you both and walks in the direction of the mess hall. You are confused for a moment as you know that was meant for the two of you and the two who would be joining you on this mission. It only takes a second for you both to realize that She must have been one of them.
DM Note: It is important to preface that While Victor and sayre know eachother. Serik and Devynn know eachother. You all dont know one another, There are many members of the slayers take and all of them dont know eachother. In the take Once you find a group, you stick with that group. There isnt much co-operation between 2 groups of Slayers at any time, only in very rare cases.

Without waiting for an answer he grins and walks after her. When she sits down Devynn says "Ahem, I believe we are her to assist you... name is Devynn, this is Serik."
Serik follows Devvyn and sits down at the table with him and the Tiefling. He produced the signed documents from his belt pouch. "As my companion mentioned, Vanessa assigned us to assist you in your mission."
DM: okay that's what I got from your first post and why I originally mentioned Sayre in mine. I'm sorry there was some confusion.
"Morning," Sayre replies to you both with a faintly curious smile holding out her hand to each of you in turn. "Sayre Celaeno," she introduces herself with a smirk looking over you both before returning her gaze to Victor. "I'll let my friend here introduce himself," she adds before finishing her coffee.
Sayre, You feel a cold chill race down your spine. It feels like a cold breeze struck you and would be odd except that you hear that same smooth and hypnotic voice again. "Find the Snake hidden in Shadow Sayre, Lomin is counting on you."
Make a Wisdom Saving throw.

"Morning milady, your reputation as a fine Hunter is known to me." Serik replies as he accepts her offered hand. The Owl turned it's head in her direction and flapped it's wings slightly in greeting from atop his staff. "Anything good for breakfast this morning?"
"We are prepared to leave whenever you are ready, but a little more information is welcome. Where are we going? How long will we be gone? I have my standard gear, but if this is going to be a particularly long expedition I might have to rethink some items.

"We're looking for whomever or whatever attacked Lomin Kael's lover at a small pond in the Duskmeadow, not far from the Velvet Cabaret," Sayre explains what she was told the night before. "As a devotee of the Raven Queen I know the Meadow pretty well," she adds not as a brag but to be honest.
Sayre doesn't however share her dream just yet trying to gauge the other Slayers.
Serik steepled his fingers in thought as he listened to the conversation. This was indeed an interesting puzzle. He had originally thought Lomin had died on a contract as most Hunter's did. Could foul play be involved? How was the lover connected to all of this? Was her attacker the same as the one who killed Lomin?
Many questions with few answers. "It would be helpful to speak to the victim as soon as we can. Your knowledge of the meadow will be most useful. I am not overly Familiar with it myself."
Sayre you feel slightly dizzy for a moment, A series of Images Flash in your mind. The First is of a Pond, Shaped like a Crescent Moon. The Second is of a Chair, Covered in blood; A Beautiful dagger rests upon it. The Third and Final is of That Same Gargantuan Snake, It's piercing eyes Shaped like the letter 'S'.

Victor, the dashing half-elf smells of rather cheep perfume this morning, his hair is nicely done and his clothes fresh, and well tailored to him. At first glance you would think he is unaccustomed to work, yet his things are well worn, just meticulously cared for, his traveling boots showing the most ware. A holy symbol of the Change-Bringer proudly displayed around his neck. He has been furiously fiddling with the steaps of his backpack, adjusting them over and over, mumbling about how it needs to be 'just right.' He seems to get them to his liking as he smiles broadly. "Victor The Vain lads, pleased to meet you." He says seemingly out of place in the current pace of the conversation.
"It may be hard to speak to the Victim, or first meeting was ... less than ideal, but a good start I would say. Sayre had a rather late night, but ummm ..." he looks at her his smile fading a little "Yea, you alright?" A small yew leaf is in his hands in a moment, from a pouch at his side.
As a note, None of you know where Solace is at the moment. You last saw her when Murtin took her to get her some food and a place to rest. Locke did suggest to begin your search at the pond In which she was attacked.

"Well... if we can't speak to her right away...the next best thing could be to look at where the victim was attacked..." Serik said, eyes on the table in thought. He noticed everyone had gone strangely quiet and he looked up to see the Tiefling acting strangely. She appeared to be Ill, he thought.
Serik, What is the reason you are "Readying" Healing energies? She simply appeared to be slightly dizzy for a moment before coming back to reality. As if lost in a day dream.

After composing herself by stroking the raven's skull pendant holding her cloak at her neck as the brief uneasiness fades. Cursing the fades under her breath for this odd burden of visions, she mentions nothing to the group. "Please don't fuss," Sayre says almost in a hiss at the group her tail flicking like a whip showing how annoyed she is with their babying! "Let's head towards the Duskmeadow now," she adds firmly. "The girl is resting still and can do little for us. We'd only upset her again," she exclaims waving off the idea before heading towards the front door ready to start the day, walking briskly in the direction of the Duskmeadow.
