He's vaguely aware of another person entering the bar but is way more interested in the conversation. Despite that, he throws four cards down onto the table in sequence, and says, "One more ante...." while he tosses out cards with agility onto the table, dealing out four to the other 4 seats while still leaning back. The cards fly through the air, spinning, and then land in each of their piles, one after another until there are four cards out for each person. Then he throws out four more in sequence, face up, in a square formation onto the table, putting the deck down on the edge where he can reach. "Alright, the dragons are set, uh....Kam, I believe you start us off....and you're all anty'd up."

Kaemgen then turns yo Mr.Dark. “And the name is Viscount McScáth. I’m not an officious bore like my brother so I am fine with Kaemgen. Those I’m friends with may, at times, use the familiar ‘Kaem.’ I’m afraid we’re not quite there yet, and nobody refers to me as ‘Kam.’l
((In my head I pronounce Kaemgen much like Cayman of Islands fame. The shortened version would be Kaem pronounced ‘came’ though some have use Kae… I’m not really picky on it, but the character is a bit harried by everything at the moment so getting a tad huffy about it…))

Mr.Dark, "Oh yes, of course, indeed Kaemgen. As a guy who uses 'Mr' as his first name, I can certainly understand you wanting to avoid other people giving you nicknames willy nilly. And I'm not calling you willy nilly neither. That was just a token of speech...of course."
He glances at his cards and the table, then over to Hansel, "Ya, so, look at yer cards, then the if you get any matches...you..." he begins explaining the game in detail as he begins wrangling the table into the game.
Let's play cards!! Each player make the following rolls:
1) A "cards" check : Intelligence based roll with proficiency if you have it in three dragon ante.
2) A "deception" check for bluffing.
3) An "insight" check for checking bluffs.
4) A "sleight of hands" check if you wish to cheat. (OPTIONAL)
Everyone will add their deception check and cards check together. They will then compare it to everyone else's rolls, subtracting their insight roll from other people's totals. If someone achieves a sleight of hand check that beats everyone's insight check, that person get's a +5 to their total. If ANYONE'S insight check beats their sleight of hand, they get caught cheating.
Everyone puts in a total of 5 silver throughout the game, for a total pot of 20 silver to the winner.
Mr.Dark rolls:
cards: 5. deception: 22. insight: 14. sleight of hand: not this time.
(EDIT: I'm unsure if that whole "subtract your insight" is going to work, i haven't thought through the math and I have to run but.....let's find out!!)

Hansel peers at his cards intently, shuffling them around in his hand and reordering them, despite there being only four. He then begins muttering softly, as if to himself, but the others can certainly make out the words easily enough: So, the four of black could go on there, or this twelve of bronze could go either there or there. Can't do much with a seven of white. Not sure what Bahamut is for...
Auric:
The blonde human is certainly handsome, with a confident and charming personality, but at the same time has an obvious self-conceit that is mildly irritating and off-putting. Auric knows the card game well and Hansel obviously doesn't, but it's difficult to tell if he is truly obtuse, or simply pretending to be so.

He winks at Hansel, and then reshuffles the cards, setting them out around the table, dealing once again. "Shall we increase the ante to 2 silver?" (total 1 gp per person for the game)
Certainly, deal us in once more, agrees Hansel, tossing two coins from his winnings back into the centre of the table, as he lounges back in his chair confidently. Although I'm still not sure I understand the rules. Then, staring at the picture on one of the cards, he adds pensively: I should like to see a dragon one day. I hear they are quite exquisite... It seems a shame though... to destroy something so beautiful simply to claim its wealth...
A voice emanates from a hooded figure, who until now has remained motionless at a nearby table.
"Perhaps thou mayest yet see a true dragon someday, Master Hansel, though destroying such a fearsome creature may be beyond thine capability without powerful allies. Simply surviving the experience should be thy principal aim."
A scaled hand rises and pulls back the dark hood, revealing the head of a golden dragonborn, gleaming softly in the firelight.
