Kurma feels his blood boiling and a new ability at his reach. He tries to bury this feeling deep down but inside him, Moa compelled him to tell the truth to his companions, nothing should be hidden... "This is strange my friend, I have this feeling that I can regain some health by eating recently dead creature. I am normally only keen on salad and vegetable. This place is changing us. But do not worry my friends, I am still the same. Just a bad joke from our dear Lich I guess..."
He looks down at the salt in the sarcophagus. "This doesn't make sense... Why salt ?". Kurma then carefully scoop some salt to see if there something buried...

Gertrude looks at the garment and can't take her eyes off it. She has never seen anything more beautiful. Slowly she walks forward and touches the iridescent colours in the fabric. When she lifts the robe out of the sarcophagus, each movement makes the robe shift between all the colours of the rainbow. Gertrude puts the rob on herself without even thinking, slowly twirling like a young girl in a field of summer flowers. All the troubles of the tomb are forgotten.
Then the reality comes back and she becomes aware again of where she is. Slowly she looks at everyone to see if anyone else would like to wear the robe. If not, she'll keep it on, feeling like an elegant lady, not like the bloody soldier she usually identifies herself with.
Irommek watched Gertrude and then smiled up at her when she finished her dance.
"A very striking robe that brings some cheer to this lifeless tomb!"
Reaching down into the sarcophagus, Irommek scooped up a handful of salt and put it into his bag.
"I wasn't kidding about the salt...a good pinch of salt will go a long way to add some flavor to any rats, bats or worms we may need to eat down here. Trust someone who enjoys good tasting food and has spent too much time in the dark caverns of the world. Oh, what I wouldn't do for a nicely spiced lamb chop, covered in mushroom sauce right now...."
With his hands still hovering over the inside of the sarcophagus, he looked long and hard at the bracelets before speaking again.
"Any bad magical feelings on the bracelets Kurma? I would really like to keep at least one arm. Biting and kicking Acererak to death will take way too long."

Gertrude freezes up as she touches the Robe.
For Gertrude only:
A weird sensation grows stronger and stronger. A consciousness, an entity is trying to have a share of your mind. Whatever that means, Gertrude feels like she would not lose control if the entity is let entering, but she can resist it.
"Any bad magical feelings on the bracelets Kurma? I would really like to keep at least one arm. Biting and kicking Acererak to death will take way too long."
"The bracelets do not show any magical properties I think. One for each of us !" Kurma throws one bracelet to each of his companions (including Dragonbait, Artus and Bag of Nail). "Irommek, here, you can get two of those! You'll use them when I can regrow your arm."
"Do n...to waste ti...me. The clock! When it... marks the h...our, time pass..es, and o...ly regrets re...main."
The clock currently marks 42 minutes past the hour.
Isabella easily finds that the pendulum is protected by some invisible barrier. It seems harmless, with no trap around, and can be inspected more by touch.
While Gertude is looking at the robe, Kurma keep an eye out for the pendulum. Once the hour has pass, he quickly goes back in the room and inspects the invisible barrier. Almost talking to himself "I have used all my strong spell, if we rest I could dispel the magic of this room maybe."

Nothing much else can be discerned from the invisible barrier. The keyhole is still there.
The pendulum and the stone on its tip are now accessible.
Kurma cautiously grabs the stone and returns to sit close to Bag of Nail. "Here my friend, I understand that this is what you were looking for."Kurma looks brievly to his companions to see if anyone disagrees and continues: "Now that you have it, would you stay with us and destroy the soulmonger ?"
Bag of Nails, holding the egg-shaped stone: "In battle, in forest, at the precipice in the mountains. On the dark great sea, in the midst of javelins and arrows. In sleep, in confusion, in the depths of shame. The good deeds a man has done before defend him."
He then breathes his last and dies. The old cat is no more.
Still beaming at his new bracelets, and Kurma's promise of regaining his arm, Irommek's face changed as he saw Bag of Nails still. Sighing heavily, he whispered a prayer to Valkauna to guide the old cat to his next adventure beyond this realm.
"Give them hell in the afterlife Bag of Nails."

Slowly lowering his hammer and looking between the contents of the sarcophagus and Kurma, Irommek let out a little snort.
"Well, I suppose we could use the salt to spice up any rats we catch and roast down here."

The multi-coloured robe emanates a very powerful conjuration magic... and a female presence.
The robe is a Robe of Scintillating Colors.

Nothing much else can be discerned from the invisible barrier. The keyhole is still there.
Kurma looks inside his bag, gets his invisible and his magical keys and try them in the lock.
(trying first the invisible key, if it doesn't work i'll try the magical key)

The group can see Gertrude stop in her tracks, and cocking her head to one side as if listening. She slowly whispers: "You may enter."
She can feel the spirit of UNKH, the flail snail, slowly entering her mind and body, giving her strength and resolve.
Gertrude also accepts one bracelet from Kurma and puts it on, complementing her new robe.
The invisible key seems to be working. Both the key and the invisible barrier are dissolved into nothingness.
The pendulum and the stone on its tip are now accessible.
Unkh: "Greetings, and thank you for letting me in. I wasn't sure whether to ask or not, but after this long time, it was worth a try. Maybe."
