The Forge of Fury

Aregarak takes the key from Lana and tries to unlock the door with it mumbling "I knew she found something......" under his breath

The locked cell holds what look to be the skeletal remains of a dwarf in rusted plate armor, curled up in a fetal position in the corner of the cell.

GB looks around the room for any other exits and gently kicks the dwarf remains to see if anything more of note is around. 

Investigation 21

The dwarf skeleton collapses and its rusty plate armor clatters in pieces underneath the weight of GB's talon. The suit of plate is obviously far too corroded to be of any use, but a small silk purse spills out of the corpse, containing 8 platinum pieces and a heavy iron key.  

Bel walk over and picks up the purse. He reaches in and pulls out the key “this might come in handy if we find the lock it goes to” 

This is as far in as the network of caves go. You can backtrack to the waterfall room or back up to the previous level if you’d like to keep exploring!

Lana looked to the group "Well I think we have gone as far as we can down here, shall we head back up" she asked.

Aregarak agrees "I think there was another tunnel or stairs back above the waterfall we can investigate..."

“Let’s check it out” Bel says with enthusiasm.

Making your way back along the rushing river, past year roper's cavern, past the musty flooded room, and over the stone bridge, you will find the waterfall cave. Here the water is calmer, the waterfall seeming peaceful in comparison to the dark river south of you. 

The waterfall is to the northwest. The stairs following the waterfall up to the previous level are to your direct north.

To the east is a stone wall, similar in construction to the jail cells and flooded room with cut stones experts fitted together. 

There are two wooden doors on the stone wall—both seem to be unlocked, but swollen shut thanks to the ever-present mist from the waterfall.

“Well Big Guy, do your thing” pointing to the doors. (Hulk smash!)

Aregarak sizes up the door, lowers his shoulder and charges in to it

The door gives way grudgingly, opening with only a few good pushes from Aregarak, and revealing a low chamber of dressed stone. This chamber is fairly damp, and filled with what appears to be rotten food—barrels of salted meat gone bad, sacks of flour or grain covered in russet-colored mold, tuns of cider turned to vinegar.

Two open archways in the east wall lead to a similar room, and two more openings are dimly visible beyond. The floor just past the first archway gleams wetly.

 Aregarak will try the right door instead

This door gives way a little more easily, and opens into a room that resembles the one just to the north, but shorter, and completely empty. 

Lana is alerted to sudden danger!

At this point I'll need to know where each of you are standing—options are the waterfall cave, the north storeroom (with all the packages), or the south storeroom (where you don't see anything in terms of packages).

GB is in the waterfall cave, near the door that had just been broken down. 

Jane is in the waterfall cave trying not to be noticed Hide Stealth 23 

Bel is also at the waterfall. He will go stealth as soon as Lana alerts them.
