/ooc Did Spirit age as well?

As the torch flares to life, it illuminates the hallway to the east, showing several doors. The torchlight will illuminate the entire passage if one were to stand in the middle of the hallway. 

There are seven closed doors in total along the passage: four on the left wall, and three on the right. The passage then opens into another larger area which you haven’t yet explored.

 Yes, Spirit now appears very old. 

Bel walks to the nearest door and checks to see if it’s locked and puts his ear to it to listen for noise.

Lana is in the rear checking on Spirit as they head to the next area. She has a look of concern as her once 3 year old companion now looks to be nearing the end of her life.

 Spirit keeps pace with Lana, gazing up at her with a reassuring, steadfast look—even as her now-advanced age is showing in her gait.

Silence meets the group as they consider their next move...

Bel will open the door slowly. “Be ready” he tells the group

Lana's hand on her bow at the ready even though her bow as yet to make her surprised. She did not like the last encounter and wasn't sure if the rangers companions could take another encounter that way. 

Spirit showing age but still strong sunk down preparing to pounce if the need arises.

As Bel opens the nearest door (the first door on the right side of the eastern passage, GB's torchlight illuminates a dusty chamber. This room must once have been the personal quarters of an important dwarf: it is decorated with tapestries and furnished comfortably, although age has taken its toll on the contents. Apparently, the room has not been looted. A beautiful rug covers the center of the floor, and a simple bed and writing desk stand in the southwest corner.

Lana stands at the door with Spirit and guards the outside

Aregarak will look for an exit out of this room

GB waits a beat while Bel traverses the room and then pushes his way past Lana into the room.  

He give off a low "Hello?" and awaits a potential response...

Aregarak cannot discern any obvious exit from the room—it seems there’s just one way in and out,

Bel is alerted to impending danger by the uncanny senses of Lana’s bow of warning, and the carpet begins to shift under him...
