Cami will follow Halleth if the group does so, as well, but she'll send Pocket the other way for a little investigation work. She's not looking through their eyes yet, letting them discover what they can by themself.
Fril follows Halleth in the same order, but he asks the undead, "Can you try to be quiet? Getting the jump on our enemies could go a long way to helping keep them from being a problem." Fril also attempts to fly quietly as he turns around the corner following Halleth.
Fril also replenishes his own and Peek's quiver on the way down (only 11 arrows for Fril and 4 for Peek).
(OOC: Just wanted to confirm... On the map, we are turning east after getting off the stairs and then going back north, right? Also... I haven't been keeping super good track of Peek's shots because I don't have a full character sheet for him and not all of the readied shots went off... If I have the number off please let me know.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
By proximity, only after Fril asks Halleth to be quiet does she realize she wasn't being quiet. She tries to keep her slow pace, just hoping that her armor doesn't attract any attention.
Pocket flies the other way silently through the air, and I've uncovered on the map what they see. There is a room with a rusted iron hand pump and a deep stone basin in the middle, and there are two passages branching off this room with closed doors. There is one passage that proceeds further without a door southwest which leads to a room filled with dusty tables and cauldrons. Piled atop the tables are alchemical tools and equipment, all of it ancient to the point of being unusable. Further west, there is what looks like a kitchen. There's an oven range, a washing basin, a hearth bearing a covered cook pot, and shelves filled with pots, pans, and cooking tools. North of that kitchen there's a closed door.
(Math, yep that is right about the direction. Sounds right about the arrows. The goblins would've had tons as well if the quivers are not full.)
Halleth responds to Fril"Hmmmmm. Yes. Ok. I be quiet. Let's go." and he moves north. As he starts to move up the passageway, he notices a lot more noise now coming from the north as well as the east. As the party proceeds up the passageway, they see a passage going east which seems to lead into a large market hall! The party would now be hearing numerous goblins speaking and going about their business. You get a glance of a few goblin vendors, and by just looking east you see over 15 goblins walking around in the grand hall. As for the north passage, Halleth sees more goblins erecting a stage against the north wall.
Halleth turns around and starts to come back. He seems annoyed that his enemies weren't just around a corner or something. "More goblins? Ok. I need to go east. We not kill the goblins again, right?" he grunts.
I won't add any goblins on the map yet. None of them have noticed you due to the noises of the market and the hammering of the goblins making the stage. I'll add them if a fight breaks out.
Oh, Peek whispers "HUH?! This new goblin base?! These not look like Xanathar goblins!? Peek never been down here before. What we do?"
It seems you've came across a different tribe of goblins which have erected a bazaar of sorts. They do not notice you yet.
How will you proceed? Given the crowd in the market that you can get a glimpse of along with the ones making the stage, you'd estimate there's around 20 goblins in this bazaar.
Fril nods to affirm what Farok says and adds to Peek, "I can't think of anything wrong with that plan. They don't seem outwardly hostile and if they are just setting up a marketplace, then I don't see any reason for us to disrupt each other. If they are not Xanathar's goblins, then we should be wary of letting them come upstairs as they will likely have no loyalty to you."

Peek listens to his orders from Farok and Fril, and heads in and indeed enters what is a huge goblin bazaar!
Due to PbP and my general slower pace as of late, if you all don't mind I will just summarize the info that Peek as been able to obtain in the bazaar as he chats with some of the goblin tribe in here. He would come back to the party after maybe 10 minutes and explain all of this:
- He's now confirmed that there are at least 40 goblins in here. Maybe 10 bugbears. None of them are hostile. In fact, this goblin tribe oppose the Xanathar guild and its beholder overlord.
- This 'Rustbone' tribe of goblins has claimed an old throne room and turned it into a bazaar.
- The Rustbone goblin boss 'Yek' has recently found a magic circlet that transformed him into a human.
- That main large market room has a soaring, 60-foot-high ceiling supported by two rows of stone pillars. The middle of the chamber is taken up by eight vendor stalls. A granite throne (Yek's) stands against the north wall atop a rectangular stone dais. The goblin vendors buy and sell goods, particularly armor, shields, weapons, adventuring gear, tools, trade goods, food, and drink.
- Yek is currently in the room to the SW of the main chamber. There is also a dwarf in that room, chained to the wall. I have added these 2 icons to the map.
Peek would've told the goblins generally about what has happened on floor 1 and how he is now captain of the goblins up there! The Rustbone tribe is happy about this and welcomes Peek's goblins to this bazaar whenever they feel like it.
Any other info about the rooms in general including what might be behind those closed doors will require further investigations and/or speaking with the goblins. The party is welcome in the bazaar and to speak with Yek if you wish.
The map has been updated with what Peek has uncovered.
Halleth is getting impatient and when Peek comes back and tells the party all of this, he says "YES. He's in there. The dwarf chained up. Haha. This will be easy."and he begins to rush forward towards the chained up dwarf.
The goblins aren't bothering with Halleth as he enters the bazaar because he isn't hostile towards them and word is already getting around about the party defeating Xanathar guild on level 1 based on what Peek told this clan. (he told them about the party as well)
What would you like to do? What questions might you have for Yek? Or do you even want to enter this bazaar? Or something else?
Regardless, Halleth is on his way to that dwarf. He may or may not try and talk to Yek first.
The maps are updated, and I will only add the 40+ goblins and 10ish bugbears to this map if a huge fight breaks out.
Farok quickly follows after the excited undead and grabs his arm, stopping him, just as he reaches the dwarf in chains, saying, “Your revenge will be at had, and soon, but there is no honor in killing a main chained to the wall.” He then looks down to the dwarf, aware that what he has said can clearly be overheard.
Cami follows after, also being interested in seeing and talking to this Yek person the group just heard about. Farok's words still annoy her, but she doesn't let it vague, she explains. Her typical logical manner of speaking, very little emotion except for the anxiety that she might get misunderstood. "Honor? I don't know about that. I still don't understand why we're helping this man with his revenge, but I know the following: that dwarf, chained as he is, is no threat to anyone. I see no point in killing him, except to satisfy Halleth's wishes. I'll talk to him, but I'll stand outside if you wish to execute him."
Cami will follow Halleth if the group does so, as well, but she'll send Pocket the other way for a little investigation work. She's not looking through their eyes yet, letting them discover what they can by themself.
