(OOC: Is there any way that we can use a combat map? I know it's not much, but it can go a long ways in making combat much easier to describe and play through. There are plenty of free resources that you can use online, and even a google sheets map can work... If you don't feel like creating one, I made one here... You would just need to put in the monsters and PC locations (as well as any environmental hazards like trees))

He then conjures spiritual guardians to surround him (not affecting his party). They are tiny gauntlets, swarming around him in a 15ft radius, looking for an enemy to punch.

Wyldfyremoves clear of the group (to M3) as a precaution against an uncontrolled surge, and draws her jeweled dagger, and pointing it in the vicinity of the clustered creatures and calling out Pila Ardentis Mortem as she unleashes a bright orange-red streak which detonates into a huge Fireball (at H16 I believe is indicated).
Damage: 21, half on save, DEX DC15.
She calls out, "I can quell any fires that start as soon as we end the threat."
(OOC: She doesn't want to be alone, but she doesn't want to risk a surge hurting the others.)
