Again, if the choice is to move directly through open area, or to circle around, staying at the edge of the clearing - even if it risks other eyes, then Zorn is staying at the edge of the clearing and taking the longer route. He would not expect the eye to be distracted long enough for them to get all the way across such a large open area.
"Shh, quiet!" Varn tries to hush the child. "If they see you, you won't even have enough time to hear it ever again. Stay low, try to calm down." Maybe it was not the best way, though, so Varn takes a breath and tries again, in a slightly softer, friendlier tone: "I am Varn, Varn Dragonblood. What is your name, child?" And although Varn himself was most likely not much older himself, he tries to appear trustworthy and responsible. Comforting, maybe. After all, a leader does not only lead by strength alone... if they ever make it out of the forest.
"Too many voices. Too many voices!" Skarro looks around frantically then his attention is drawn to the sound of the hunter's weapon. Despite needing a rest, he realizes that he has a chance to move on, however slight it might be due to his heavy armour. He heads in a new direction to try to confuse the Hunter and moves stealthily to nearby cover, still moving behind the piece of armour which is now draped in vines and leaves.
Skarro clanks away from the voice. The child says, "W-What was that? I heard something move... Please help. I'm scared."
What does Varn do?
The Hunter sees Skarro as clear as day, moving. However it must decide whether to target the paladin or the cannon? One of its eyes get destroyed by the force ballista, limited the Hunter's perception in the area for a brief moment before other eyes nearby focus on the Glade to make up for the lost eye. The Hunter decides to target the force ballista.
The Hunter shoots again and the projectile hits the ground, raising a small splash of dust and dirt. The armors move in and begin to claw the cannon apart, tearing and denting its metallic body. Meanwhile the two continue to sneak past the Glade
"Shh! This one noise is one you should not worry about. Let's see..." He can't really let the child stay like that, but he has a feeling it would be hard for them both to hide together. He looks around, searching for a nearby tree with some distinguishing mark. "You see that tree over there, with the [something that can be distinguishing]? Run to it, now! You'll see me from there, but don't come to me. I don't know if this tree could cover both of us. Now! Before it is ready to shoot again!"
Zorn shakes his head. "Zorn say keep moving. Armor no see with no eye, only moment of passage..." He continues moving forward, sneaking towards the hunter.
Again this is only if he can do so without entering another eye's area of influence. he would skirt around any areas of that kind, even if it takes longer, but he would not stop moving, unless there were no open paths forward.
Another shot rings out and the kid goes quiet. After a moment of silence, the child says, "I... I can't see the tree. I don't know where to go. Please come and help me."
Skarro stays behind his cover. the shot does not seem to have targeted him. The other team is probably under some serious fire right now.
What does Varn and Skarro do?
Komos temporarily couldn't hear anything other than the loud bang of the Hunter's attack. Then he hears the sound of metal falling to the ground followed by heavy footsteps. his cannon is nothing but scrap and one of the armors is heading straight for him and Zorn. It doesn't seem like the armor or rather the hunter has fully noticed them yet. Perhaps the armor is returning to its patrol route... which is unfortunately directly where the two are standing.
"I can't come to you, but if you're quick, maybe you can come to me, and we'll find a solution while that thing is busy. Be quick!" Varn actually begins to wonder whether this Kobold child is truly there, or maybe something is trying to trick him. After all, he didn't see any Kobolds other than Skarro and himself, and it would be very strange for other Kobolds - especially a youngling - to be here.
The Kobold child responds, "I... I can't see you. I want to come to you but I can't find you." Varn has not yet seen the Kobold child himself. He is still just hearing the voices.

The whole clearing is 90ft across. How far do you want to move? Also there are no bushes.

What does Varn and Skarro do?
Komos' cannon wipes out the western eye, freeing up an area for the two to sneak through.

@DM: Does Skarro sense that the attention of the Hunter has wandered?

I'm going to say yes because he would hear the Hunter shooting at something.
The Child says panicked, "I... Where are you? I want to come to you but I don't know where you are. Help. Please."

Stealth: 1
Has been moving NW, now moving NE.
(( lol ))
Clanking and grinding as he moves, Skarro curses the depths to which he has fallen but is relieved to be away from the strange new voice.
He resolves not to try again until he is fully rested.
(( Pretty sure that resets his timer on a short rest ))
((eeh. I'll allow it for now.))

Komos quietly pulls Zorn just out of the path hoping to hide behind a tree and let the patrol pass.

Zorn has noticed the armor seems to be blind, so he would also try to just let the armor pass by and then continue sneaking forward.
