“I told some thug and his gang that Tarina wasn’t in here, that I’d been looking for her, too. He left. We need to find her and get out of here. I don’t suppose my Flaming Fist friends can help me out of that bind when he comes looking to make minced Tiefling out of me?” He gives a wry, discomfited grin.
Kulogall says "I also have your back Borys. Hate that I missed all the action but the beer was going through me. If anyone comes at you I'll blow 'em down!" He keeps an eye around the bar for any sign of trouble. He looks to Durthek’s table and gives them a subtle nod. He scans the bar for Richard, seeing he’s not there, he assumes he’s upstairs. “We’ll give him room to operate and guard down here.” he mumbles to himself under his breath.
Tarina looks at Richard with mixed feelings. She is relieved that it's only about information but not glad that it involves a favor.
" Are you alone ?" She says with clear sarcasm. " If not et your buddies up and bring drinks. I'll let you in the info then."
She sits down back on her chair and waits.

Once everyone is upstairs Tarina gives everyone a level look, clearly appraising them.
" There is a church .. sort of. They call themselves the Redeemers. Seems they are a front for a no-good sect but the Guild leaves them alone." She smirks. " You ll have to use the thieves' highway to go there unnoticed. They have lookouts and muscle. Which in itself should have alerted that captain of yours."
Back inside the tavern, Astra looks about to see if anyone meets her gaze, or tries too diligently not to. In truth, she is surprised no one had followed her out to the privy, though the crew Borys mentioned may have inadvertently thwarted any intended trouble.
As she looks, she also opens her awareness to detect any unnatural forces that might be present.
“Agreed. Don’t want to spook her...” At this point, Thamior appears at the top of the stairs and beckons them up. “But we appear to have an invitation.”
Astra continues to reach out with her extraordinary senses as she heads up to join the rest of their team and their contact.
After Tarina speaks, Astra searches her memory for any previous mention the these Redeemers or their cult..?
Richard gives Thamioran appreciative nod as he goes and waves the others up.
Once the others have joined the upstairs conversations, Richardreplies to Tarina,
"Right, so the rooftop approach it is. Interesting that the Fist hasn't noticed, like you say, or maybe we are being tested, either way, we need to get in and take them down."
"So where are they located, any estimates on numbers, inside and out?"
"Any idea how far out their lookouts perimeter is? Also anything dangerous or interesting we should know about?"
"Anything information you can help us with, is very much appreciated Tarina."
Redric rises, taking his drink upstairs to join those listening to the spy.
"And what's our best bet to get onto this Thieves Highway you speak of? I'm sure our friend here" (*indicates Richard) "knows a thing or two, but I'd hear it from you again, if its all the same."
Once the others have asked their questions, and Tarina has responded, Astra approaches her and slips her two gold coins.
”I am Blaze Astra Andasca, and I thank you for your time, and your candor. One final thing. I would appreciate your honest opinion of the Captain, in confidence?”
Stepping back to rejoin the others, she adds:
”Also. Men were asking for you downstairs, a rough bunch. One of my men threw them off your scent, but they will surely return. Go with care.”
At Astra's mention of the rough crew coming for her, her eyes go wide. And beads of perspiration appear a few seconds later.
"I need to skip town." She says in a rush. " Unhappy gamblers .... You know what I mean."
Looking at Richard she adds.
"Don't have much info on the place sorry. A leader, some sort of Priest, and a few helpers. That's all I know." She thinks for a while looking at the dwarves joining up and smiling.
"The assassin's highway is a special path with the linked roofs. You have to be careful when using it they are really territorial. Flash those insignia you have but many in the guild don't like the Flaming Fists."
She grins. "Then again they usually deserve a beating."
The Assassin's/Thief's highway uses the roofs of several houses. They are linked together by wooden boards. It will take about half an hour to go from the tavern to the roof looking down on the church. Tarina was right in saying that from here you can see what is going on. The church's roof is battered and seems you could enter. It might be dangerous though.

Borys looks between Astrid and Kulogall.

“Well. I was sworn to defend Elturel, so that should give you comfort.” Astra returns his grin with an uneasy half-smile of her own.
“So long as we are a company, we all need to have each other’s backs. And so long as I am your blaze, I will have yours, to my dying breath.”
Borys takes a few shaky breaths in and out, giving Astra an affirming nod. He seems to relax a bit, maybe even puff out his chest some.

Durthek leans back and gives Redric a mildly surprised but approving nod and shrug.

On the upper floor, the game is ending with a rather content girl and three surly drawn faced men.
With much grumbling, they leave toward the stairs and go down. " Who's got a coin to help me drown my sorrow ?" one of them says in a sullen voice.
Tarina gets up and gathers her winnings. She keeps an eye on the two standing in front of her though.
"What' dyou wan ?" She ask in a strange slang.
"We are on a job actually, we've been told that you may have some information that could help us."
Richard looks around the room, to make sure no one else is near by, before leaning in a little closer and quietly speaking.
"We were sent by Captain Zodge, to collect on a favour you owe him, we need any information you can give us on the Dead Three."

"What, and miss out on all the fun?"

Redric grins - a slightly unhinged sight. "We could make a ruckus downstairs, if you like."
Tarina will give a slight nod to all. " No thanks, I should manage to slip away from those ruffians. "
With that, she goes downstairs.
