Elyona closes her eyes briefly, offering up a prayer to Arvoreen; she opens her eyes again as the prayer continues, and guest urges toward her three companions. A (healthy, plant-like) greenish glow settles on Ilyara, Toots, and Tommary; Toots (because she is not holding her breath) notes that it smells like flowers.
The rod and line had indeed been a good idea. Skipping all those gym days back home, focusing on being lithe and quick over muscly and bulky, was less of a good idea. Ilyara's noodlefox arms failed her once again, but she managed to catch herself on the wheel Elyona had cracked. The deluge was absolutely punishing though; she didn't dare risk her remaining air on a vocal cast. No spells, no sling. She saw the glowing net but didn't dare let go enough to grab at it. She could only just barely spare one arm, after wrapping her legs around the wheel as much as she could, to draw a dagger free and swipe at the godsforsaken stinking rotten bloodsucking little parasite hounding her.
{I'm, ahhh...I'm just gonna assume that attack has all the disadvantage... Attack: 9 Damage: 7
OOC: Good effort, Toots. I thought about Spiritual Weapon too, but I had a feeling it was gonna be a no-touchy spell. @Wysp: any chance she's allowed to change its form and use it normally, mebbe prune some fishsticks off Tallboots and Soggyfox?
EDIT: WHUPS. Forgot the Bless die! 3 to the attack.
OOC: Thanks Arwen. Pretty certain that woulda missed without the Bless, and taking damage while holding your breath usually means you stop holding your breath. Nice to have one less chance of drowning in evil sewage!
Tommary is blessed out of his bliss, back in reality he attempts to fillet the fish attacking him. Bless 3 Attack: 16 Damage: 7
EDIT: So total attack of 19, Tommary, with great control release enough of his breath for a small "woo!" as the saber connects, even though it's largely heard as a bunch of bubbles.
Toots, no longer able to see or hear either Elyona or Tommary feats the worst. With a heavy heart she clings on desperately to the rope and vents her anger on the closest fish. First she pulls back with her lute to real in her mystical net for another cast and uses it to attack the scaled scallawag: Attack: 15 Damage: 5force damage
Then, she shouts her tiny Hin rage at the creature in an attempt to fracture its mind: mind sliver: Modifier he fishy must succeed at a DC 15 Int save or take 7psychic damage and must subtract 1d4 from its next saving throw.

OOC: I'd say she's bracing herself, basically putting all her energy into clinging to that wheel against all odds. There's no combat action for it, but she's stuck under a swampy sewage deluge without the ability to breathe, cast spells, and with nothing around her to attack. She's clinging to that wheel and hoping for rescue because that's all she can realistically do, it was incredible good fortune that she caught the wheel in the first place. If she lets go, she's beyond ****ed and she knows it. It's a bad situation, but she don't have the muscle to force her way out of it.
OOC: How close is the end of the rope/immovable rod combo to Ilyara and/or Tommary? If Elyona was holding on to someone else, and cast Misty Step, would she take the other person with her? How deep into this pit is she again?

OOC: The rod is at the top of the 20 foot deep pit. The rope is 45 feet long trailing into the pit but the slack at the bottom is down the drains. Going down would cost no movement but I believe Misty Step only affects you.
They can climb out with a STR/Athletics check at disad due to pouring water. If the rope was not there, it would be a straight no.

Elyona will carefully make her way down the rope, until she is just above the vortex of water. She will turn the rod of lordly might into a ladder tall enough to get of of the pit, anchoring it first to the top (perhaps with toot’s help?), and then to the bottom.

Resisting the pull of the deluge of water and slime, Elyona anchors her ladder top to bottom.

With a quick slish slash, Ilyara fillets the blood sucking fish! The body is quickly sucked down the drain.
Another vampire fish makes a play for Tommary, leaping eagerly into the hole.

Under normal circumstances the warm water showering over you would be a comfort; if you ignore the smell, the odd bits of trash, and the drowning.
