To Prove D&D Exists for Echolon

OOC: Rosso, Elyona, and Tommary all took fire damage from landing melee hits on a creature that is evidently very hot.  Wyspera rolled WIS as a DM for the monster against a spell Ilyra cast.

The bridge shakes under the impact of the missed attack. Rock shards fly in every direction pattering the party with stones.

Tommary is going to repeat his whirl of Windbreaker's sharp stank on the the Inflamed Tapeworm of Tyler Vail, but realizing now that given the original lava manifestation of Tyler Vail emerged from the lava, sending the Inflamed Tapeworm of Tyler Vail back into the lava probably won't accomplish much but maybe a cool splash.  So,

Attack: 14 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.

Attack: 11 Damage: 9

Sneak attack to applied to whatever if any attack hits first 9

As far as the heat, Tommary's staying in this kitchen for the group synnergy of slicing, with his pain endorphins kicking in:

Elyona's first response to Ilyara's encouragement to back away is to shake her head.  But as the rocks shower down on her and her armor heats up, she decides maybe Ilyara's advise is wise.  She backs carefully away from the beast, and prepares to invoke Arvoreen's power.

OOC: Elyona will disengage as an action and move 25ft away from the creature.

Tommary smells what this rock worm from the bowels of Tyler Vail is cooking....  It's him.

Ilyara could see her blade-inclined companions starting to really suffer against this convection-oven ******* and growled.  She wasn't this kind of cleric, someone granted the power to be a balm against wounds.  She was the kind of cleric who found corruption and wickedness, then stabbed it in the butthole until it mended its ways.  Still...no good solutions left, and so she'd continue to avoid making the problem worse.  Bell girl it was for now, and thank the Traveler she could...

If the worm is not immune to being Charmed, Toots would like to use Cutting Words against that Attack to subtract 6 from the Attack Roll.

”Hey magma-turd breath! Your fly is down! Made ya look!”

Ilyara moved over next to Elyona, blade in hand.  "Got anything t' throw at this bug long-distance?  If not, stay safe.  Gonna have t' put Tallboots back together with twine and glue after this, I think..." she muttered.  "TALLBOOTS!  Switch to magic, you're startin' t' look like fried dumpling!"  Then clawtip met blade and the Traveler's bells sounded again.

Presuming she can cast it in such a way as to target the beastie but not also end up targeting Rosso, Elyona will cast moonbeam on the creature.

moonbeam damage: 13  DC 16 Con save for 1/2 damage; shape shifters have disadvantage an revert to original form if they fail the save.   I doubt that applies here, but thought I'd mention it just in case.

If that's not an option, she will attack with a crossbow.  I'll put that attack in a spoiler in case it is needed.
