 The bolt sinks to the feathers into the wall, leaving a small spiderweb of cracked plaster around it.

“Tom’ry, would you please be so kind as to go retrieve that bolt and smack that wall with your sword?”

Tommary the Unworthy skates over to see what Echolon is up to, mindful of what Windbreaker the Sabre of Warning may tip him off to.

The substance is soft and pliable, slightly sticky. The bolt comes free easily.

It smells a lot like bees wax.

“Wada youse guys got over there?”

OOC: took the meme out of Tommary's mouth

Tommary goes wild eyed wide enough so the party not with him and Rosso can see their brightness, not unlike a certain wild man actor with a repertoire in the vaults, and yelled back, "Bee's wax!  The wall's coated with Bees wax.  I think it's the bees, folks!  THE BEES!" He tries to take an oblique look up the shaft his hand on Windbreaker like an epipen.

“Good, then it should be easy for you to cut through so we can find out what’s behind there.”

"Ok, Rosso, I guess we're demo crew, do we want to cut out the outline of this thing and hope we can push/pull a big enough chunk to walk through or do we want to make a big ol' X and pull out what we can to make a big enough hole to walk through?  How do you want to do this?"

OOC: yeah, i said it

OOC: I’ve been under the I pression that Elyona can’t easily get to where Tommary has been fiddling with the candles and the wall. (since he’s been using his swords water walking abilities.) But I see Rosso is over there. If Elyona can get there, she’ll join them. 

OOC: I think it's a swim through the murk, and braving the vampire fish, which may now all be cooked so moot.

OOC: Yeah, it’s a trip through the mucky water. Toots is waiting until she knows there’s something to do over there, and then she’ll pro’ly ask Tommary for a lift if he doesn’t mind before resorting to another swim. 🤢

OOC:  Tommary can walk on water anything wet when wielding Stormwalker, so not a swim for him.

IC:  Looks like Tommary and Rosso are waiiling away at the wax.  

OOC: If Ely comes over with the ram, and Ily and Toots start spamming whatever, it'll be like that scene in Predator where they counter assault the tree line ... but bees wax instead of a tree line.

OOC: About the best Toots can do is throw rocks and ‘tude at the wax, not a single one of her spells can target an object, not even chromatic orb nor spiritual weapon. 🤷‍♂️ Sorry cats & kittens, youse are on your own until more monsters show up.

IC: Toots is whistling up the dead fish to leave for the party’s nice Gobbo friends.

OOC: just grab someomne's belt fed heavy crossbow, the one that's actually six in a hexagonal orientation, and yell 'COOOOONNNNNTTTTTAAAAACCCTT!" while beeswax infrastructure crumbles.  

Wonder if the cooked fish affect the baking of the pro-team bar.
